We can fix it....keep a positive attitude 😊 Steps to follow--- 1- compression test 2- inspect the spark plugs 3-take multimeter and check all fuses and relays 4-change all fluids (new oem grades) and gas in the tank 5-check valve gap with proper shims and timing correct 6- all those check out ,bike should run 😊
Well it did kick with the starting fluid but sounded like timing is way off so that's kinda positive. Watching now but hopefully your buddy or you find something easy to deal with and cheap.

Have you checked the yellow box near the fuel tank that has a heap of green wires running to it inside there when you open it up there will be a strip of metal with a heap of pins coming off it take that out and check for any corrosion and give it a really good clean had my 05 cbr600rr not start all from a bit of corrosion and i sanded all the pins and put it back in bike and it fired straight up after that
A few things: That starter cycling sound is 100% normal for a CBR, the key & ignition issue is H.I.S.S. and we don't have that on US market bikes, the Bank Angle Sensor ABSOLUTELY does affect the ignition system because that's the whole purpose and if it's tripped you usually have to cycle the ignition on/off a few times for it to reset, and lastly the CBR 600rr & 1000rr both run 8 fuel injectors so (as evidence by the bike running on starting fuel) only 4 work all the time and the next 4 cycle on at 4,000rpm. I was screaming fuel pump since the last video because that's the common issue on this bike if it's been sat for a while so for future reference you can get test relays to plug in place so you can switch on and off whatever you are testing and that would have shown a dead pump from the jump. Also while the kick stand switch operation is obvious the CBR clutch switch only applies in gear, so, you can start the bike without the clutch in neutral regardless of the kick stand. That's actually one of my favorite things about my 600rr aside from the fuel gauge instead of just a low fuel light.
I wrecked an 04 cbr1000rr and it broke plug to ecu behind radiator overflow. Caused my bike to do same thing fuel pump wouldn't prime. Fixed plug and runs perfect. Good luck to you

The ones he tested only start firing at 6k rpm and big % of throttle Also the tip over sensor (bank angle) behind the dash could cut the fuel pump.. Pretty sire the pumps are fine. Those (and that cbr motor) are bulletproof
You’re right about the injectors but the pump is 100 percent gone!! I never claimed to be a motor cycle expert at all I’m an automotive expert! but you can’t deny I know what I’m doing…I mean it’s running with no pump or fuel tank so that’s gotta say something 🤷🏻♂️

You should learn how to make carbon fiber parts. It's easy. It's pretty much just like fiberglass & you're good with that.
