For Oklahoma to make that decision shows how ignorant ignorant ignorant government can be. I will say that I understand both sides of the argument over gender issues in sports but it seems pretty clear that pro wrestling is NOT a sport. Pro wrestling is very much entertainment, the wrestlers are very very much amazing athletes but one thing it is not is a real sport.
Yeah mate, totally agree 👍 to me, in THIS situation, pro wrestling IS ballet.
It's performative art really. All it can be broken down into is two or more people working together to entertain an audience. Nyla is awesome so I'm sure she'll take it in her stride. (And yes, before any1 starts with the "He" generic mind-numbing stuff: imo, if anyone has put the work in, i would see them and naturally think "she", AND is a genuinely awesome person like Nyla, I'm down with and respectable of their personal choices and experience..... if itz a dude in a dress with a beard and they're obviously a narcissistic piece of trash?...nah bro. As with life tho, it's not what's on the outside it's what comes from the heart/spirit of a person that makes them, lets say, "passable"......cos wicked spirited ppl who are full of lies, deception, hate and all other things vile (there's enough of those who gravitate to AEW related comment sections....and everywhere else) don't get a pass in my world)..... hmm...tangent over 😊

YES. Without Tony the Tiger wrestling wouldn't be as GREAT as it has been for 5 years ❤ he ain't getting that kinda respect tho, but ppl with hearts full of hate will always scream the same generic ish the loudest... truly is no rest for the wicked...meanwhile there's wrestling fans like myself who are more occupied with enjoying wrestling to overly engage in the ish-show that is comment sections.

Glad to see you agreeing that airing the ALL IN footage was a good idea for business, and you're not one of those bad faith critics, those involuntary virgins who constantly trash AEW, who said that airing the footage would be bad for business simply because you want AEW to fail. That shows a very strong audience who enjoy this awesome wrestling world we somehow miraculously live in now.
If they were doing so much wrong? Isn't WWE meant to be good now? (Not for me, it's not to my taste, but I'm not gonna hate on good wrestlers catering to their audience and making a good living)

@@nowhere_dan yup. AEW is consistent with their numbers and have been for 5 years. I find it ridiculous how some rhetorical mind-numbing ppl clutch at straws like "they can't grow their audience...wah...waaah...they're gonna die...hahaha...haaaa..die already!!!...why aren't they dying???...MOMMM!!".....the NFL is really popular, but it doesn't interest me so I'm not gonna watch it, and it could be the best it has ever been. me no care. Doesn't make it dead or dying.
Also, WWE is a corporate (yuck) business model (which sucks cos that can always impact the booking of the show in favour of what those people want/expect).
The pro wrestling world outside the E is so connected and supported now that the huge number of us who love it can easily sustain it. It caters to fans and only needs to be sustainable and doesn't demand growth. That will happen however it is that people become wrestling fans.

If the ratings are the source of fan feedback then why does Tony turn a blindeye to the declining ratings?
You should be really worried about triple H's WWE raw is down 24% yoy NXT down 14% only smackdown is up 10% AEW by comparison is down 7% so it looks like WWE is dying fast
Because even with the decline they are still good numbers overall, same reason why wwe was doin 1.6 last month yet it was still the most watched show of the day

Cable is dying
He actually addressed this a few months ago. The rate that AEW's ratings are falling is smaller than the overall rate cable subscriptions are falling.
Meaning that even with people turning off cable in their homes, more of the people who still have it are tuning into the show. As someone said above, WWE ratings are falling too by a similar percentage.
