The Voice still sounds amazing at 74. Listen to just how smooth Paul is. And after 11 minor strokes and two major ones. Gods damn, I needed this in my life.
No doubt. This guys voice was the sound track of my early guitar playing. He definitely sounds fantastic still. Man I wish he was still making music like back in the day.
Been waiting for a Slash blues album for 25 years, ever since I saw Slash's Blues Ball on a 1st date with a super fine honey 2 weeks after I moved to Phoenix from Chicago.
@@pricey0986ify Ha. Yes....I got to 3rd base that night, while listening to Billie Holiday at her place...then followed up with a home run the next date, back in 1998. Sad part is that she passed away in a car accident in 2004...we hadn't spoken in 3 years as she moved and got married, but the whole thing still haunts me.
That's so hard to take bro. Was in a similar situation when I was younger. It still haunt's me today and that was over 40 years ago. I will be 60 years old in NOVEMBER.
@@timothythomas7241 I hear you man. I hit 50 in a few months and certain things stay with you forever. I don't even have a photo of her. I found her mom online years ago and contemplated writing her and asking for one, but didn't know how to do that without being a total weirdo
This was an excellent version of this song, I've heard and seen a lot of bands do this one live Rogers and Slash nailed it. Way back in the 70's I remember seeing Pat Travers do this live a few times, it was always one of my favorite songs. rockin' the blues! I like that Slash digs the blues, he has his own sound and take on it that is refreshing.
Absolutely kick ass!!!!! Its been long overdue for SLASH to show us his blues influence. SLASH and Paul are amazing together on Born Under A Bad Sign. YOU NAILED IT SLASH!!!!! THANKS FOR ALL THE WORK YOU HAVE DONE IN THE PAST ,BUT THIS ONE TOPS THEM ALL...IN MY OPINION!!!!! KEEP'EM COMIN BROTHER!!!!!
@@the.communistI think he did some good stuff in VR. But after that he kind of took the same path zakk wylde did: Excessive shredding. It seems now he's going back to his roots 🤘
Huge Paul Rogers and Slash fan! As both a singer and guitarist I’ve got a lot of respect for them and been influenced greatly by listening to them over the years. Great combo!
Smart move getting Mr Rodgers this guy can sing the shit out of any song, and musicians are all top notch, thank you for your hard work on this classic song, brilliant!
@01devilsmilitia so another fan boy has concluded that an album of cover songs that stick largely to the originals with uninspired choices is the best album of ALL TIME. Better than any Beatles, Stones, Pink Floyd , The Who or Led Zeppelin album. Better than Appetite for Destruction. I think not. R
Don't lose your temper... check what music legends did in their careers, starting with jazz players with numerous reference records with only standards. Slash is the first fanboy of this album and shares what drives him together with great singers and massive backing musicians. No record trick only years of practice, great production, great arrangements,.... enjoy and relax dude
Always been a Slash fan but it's great to see him embracing the roots of it all and it seems like a work of love, all these covers stay pretty true to source
Great choice reuniting with Mike Clink. Slash and GNR should just use him for everything they put out. He understands how to make this brand of guitar rock sound perfect. Not overproduced, just sounds crisp.
Anything Paul Rogers is just fine with me, I was once told I sound like him from a man called Ricky Medlock of Blackfoot and Lynyrd Skynyrd fame. Greatest compliment I’ve ever got.
Now you're showing some skills in the blues area... What's people don't realize there's a difference between rock and roll and heavy metal blues 💙 nice work / you made me as you get older with your projects 👍👍👍👍👍👍🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🎸🎸
I remember Slash doin’ a killer version of Albert King’s The Hunter on Paul Rodgers Muddy Water Blues album in the early 90’s! Glad to see them reunited! 😎🥳🙏🏼
A friend gave me 'Muddy Water Blues' - Best blues/rock album ever. Always been a fan of Paul, and I still reckon he was the best stand-in vocalist for Queen !!
the hunter , c'était de la dynamite ces deux là en feat ... super chanson , Slash et paul ont sublimé tout ça ...🔥🔥🔥🔥 et ils ont joué ensemble au woodstock de 94 si ma mémoire est bonne...
No way I've been jamming this for about a week, today just learned it. So it's stuck in my head, then not even an hr later my favorite vocalist and guitar drop their cover collaboration
Loving this album Could Slash go the way of Garry Moore and make a later career out of Blues with a rock flavour, I'm in. If you like this song check out Robbin Fords version also.
Dos primeiros a prestigiar o lançamento de um dos guitarristas que me fizeram querer tocar guitarra e um vocalista que me é referência de cantar rock com elegância!

Still gives me the chills when i play and sing it.
Wonder if he does too?
He covered this song already there is a video on you tube from a decade ago of course Slash adds a certain something though.
one of the best voices in RnR
Paul Rodgers got such a fucking great voice - Together with Slash it´s so damn cool.
Paul Rodgers is one of my favorite singers. Slash collaborating with such iconic singers is so incredible.
What a combo! My favourite guitarist and a legendary vocalist together!
Paul Rodgers & Jack Bruce are my favourite vocalists. Slash's blues is wonderful on this album. Peace and love from Melbourne, Australia 🤘
With a favorite music! This music is amazing! I like the Pat Travers version.

That guitar solo is pure gold!!! 💯 love it as always Slash 🎩
This is the best blues/rock album since Stevie Ray passed in my opinion, all the performances are absolutely freaking great
do you listen to Joe?
Check out Joe Bonamassa and Beth Hart... the best duo for blues now a day. Both sing...but the 3 songs off this album are on fire.....
How bout Gary Moore still got the blues
It doesn't get any better. What an album. Slash 1 of the best guitar players ever.
Paul greatest male voice.Slash always the best.
Paul Roders 😮😮😮 Guys from another planet. Great song, outstanding record from Slash

Wooooooooo Paul. My favorite male singer 💜
I've always had Pat Travers Band's version of this on my "stay-list." But, this collection of artists collaborating with Slash is friggin real TASTY.
