The GBD-H1000 will track runs and walks, but apparently app integration is not as good as Apple. Possibly the G-shock would be more rugged, and the G-Shock is solar.

I have never used one but I am familiar with that model. I love the concepts behind the watch, I just think they need to refine it a little. I'm really looking forward to seeing how they develop that technology and User Experience.

@@Levi.Jaeckel I love G shock but the GBD-H1000 doesn't make sense, the Heart rate is inaccurate and there's so much more you can do on an Apple watch to track your recovery and sleep and its practically as accurate as a Polar H10 chest strap If I was wearing a shock I would just wear a regular one.

Used to love gshocks until i tried mu first smartwatch the ultra. Now it doesn’t leave my wrist, it’s just soo good!

Should give the Garmin Instinct Solar series a look at…. I myself have started to slowly creep away from Apple Watch and back to rugged / G-SHOCK type watches ..

@@Levi.Jaeckel it’s a good option… especially the solar version, health tracking, rugged and 14+ day battery life… the newer instinct model also seems pretty good
