mojaxx always gives the real deal on equipment. I'm a turntables/Turntablist through and through but lately I've been looking for a good controller to take mobile for some gigs that still allow me to use my turntable skills but without braking the bank and this thing seems perfect.
Thank you for this video, I have watched it multiple times. You helped me decide that this is the bomb...I was deciding between this and the DDJ-SR2 and this is the winner hands down...Love how you present your reviews....Look forward to watching more videos of yours.
Nice features but the NV has the same build quality as the Mixtrack Pro 3 which is a huge slap in the face for the price. It's a very ergonomic controller but the plastic is disappointing.
I strongly agree. that's why I made the comment that for a couple of hundred dollars more you can just get sx2 which is more durable and has DVS capability. These are strong factors to consider for that price range
Dj Psyclone Yeah I'd much rather have the SX2 if I was a controller DJ, especially since a laptop has to be involved. If the NV was standalone I'd give it more props.
Exactly why I picked up an SX2. Since then two of my friends bought the NV. It does alot of the things how you expect them to. Except they both randomly switch pitch or one deck just stops working. Hearing that made me happy I avoided picking one up
Nice video/review. Thanks so much Mo. These videos always help me make up my mind when I need to make proper decisions on picking up new gear. Thanks again bro. Best reviews on You/tube. 😊
Bough it last year thinking....yea is money worth!!! Got home, installed everything only to have the deam thing no to work. Support told me it was my computer. So I told them, my computer is brand new so why would that be an issue. I returned and bought a ddj rs. The box says plug in play and....yea!!! In 5 mins, I was having a blast with the rs. Bought a ddj rz2...will not look back Numark any more.
@@saikounjie9944 in my experience, it did not however, based on the price, you can give it a shot but keep in mind where you buy it from. I had to pay 170.00 dollars in restocking fee. Now, a really worth controller, Denon Prime 4 o in my case, Pioneer DDJ SZ2. Check the reviews of these 2 devices.
@@edgaryuquilima7191 Thanks for your feedback, i have been djing for one and a half year and am growing really fast by doing lots of gigs. i currently own a ddj sb3 which i love so much because it's really fun to play with, but i feel like i need to upgrade to another controller and have two of them, i already watch tons of reviews about the new denon dj prime 4 and i like it too, i think i will save a couple of euros and buy denon prime 4 instead of nv2.
@@saikounjie9944 yea...I'm also on that point too were I would like to look into other options. My cousin in Spain bought the Prime 4 and is having a blast. When it first came out, did not wanted to buy it since it was supported by Serato. That's why I end up buying a SZ2. love it but, Im thinking of selling it and get turntables. Rane 72s look like a nice option
this is what i want to know,or figure out how to do.sampler/velocity pad, should be able to change the factory sounds.or can you?????if you can please tell me!lol
Hi i got question to ask is this Numark nv2 mixer only work whit laptop and Serato Software .. or once installed the Serato Software will work whit all laptop
this is a bit off this topic but could you please try to get your hands on and review the new Roland DJ equipment mostly the Roland TT99. Thanks in advance and thanks for the great videos keep them coming m8. Also I am starting out DJing and I am not rich by any means I am either going to get Vinyl setup or Controller, the vinyl setup includes Epsilon Pro Pak $300, 2x Shure $170 M44-7, Denon DS1 $300, 2x KRK Rokit 6 G3 $370, and a headset $150 and records ??$$??, or I am going for the Numark NS7III $1299.00, Please any feedback would be appreciated m8 Thanks! oh and if the roland tt99 pan out I might spen a little extra for the kit I found for 2 of those and Mixar MXR-2
I currently own a DDJ SB2 which I am very pleased with, I started mixing this april and have clocked in at about 200 or so hours thus far. I mainly mix drum'n'bass and i kinda like double dropping. The issue I`m having with the SB2 is that it is a 2 channel controller, although it does have 4 decks you can control, the whole catch point for faders and knobs is a bit much at times when you have to search for and mix in your third track and kill one/or both the others. I was looking at the NV for a while, and am thinking of getting one. Would it make sense for me as a begginer to get this piece of kit ? Or should i practice some more on the SB2 and consider upgrading later ?
Ok, so please give me some more info/thoughts/opinions on weather I should get the NVii, or pioneer DDJ SX2? I like the fact that U can plug your T Tables up to the pioneer, that's a +, but I dig the screen on the NVii, and Mo sounded pretty excited about the NVii.....holla bk, anyone.
all personal prefrence really, you rather look at your small laptop screen or look strsight down to where your already looking to load up a deck?why look away, thas 3 paces then, crowd, track selection, laptop,i love 2 look points screens, and crowd.AND YOU CAN JDONT SEE UST USE VYNIL ON THE TURNTABLES,THAT BEING AN ISUE,sry for caps
Yeah it's not a standalone unfortunately, hope their next next iteration comes with USB ports. I wanna get mixing again but I don't wanna pay silly money for any set up. At the price point Numark are selling for, I wouldn't mind too much.
That's a very silly reason not to like a piece of technology. Technic's 1210 ? Pioneer CDJ NXS ? they are very mainstream. U saying u only like technology that hardly anybody uses ? things are mainstream for a reason. Because they are good.
Dj Psyclone I still have an original SX, and there is a big difference in size between that and the NV. If you regularly work in booths which are pushed for space, the NV could be a much more practical choice.
Dj Psyclone Indeed, but not everyone needs that... Not defending the NV II here (I think the SX 2 is also great), but some people have different priorities.
I had th nv 1gn, ns7 2 and sx2. The pioneer controller has stopped working in front of 15 000 people. It just went dead. The worst nightmare ever happened to me. No pioneer controllers anymore.
with this price point, it would be nice to also have an usb stick option...would be a killer product.
Numark NVIII Maybe LOL

you are a legend
I was about to get that Pioneer as well! But when I saw this model, I was sold!
Did you get the Numark NV11 then
So why do you still need a laptop plugged in? Great screens but hoped that would cut out laptop
I love my NVII. Had it since the Summer. Nice review.
Jim Ligon I just bought NVII but I'm a newbie -- I need a little help getting started can you help me?
***** What do you need help with?
Jim Ligon understanding activation for starters
Licenses, subscriptions, stuff like that - I don't want to purchase something I don't need. But I do want unlimited music
Read the Quick start Guide, man. It came with the unit. Also, go to numark.com & serato.com - They have forums if you're having trouble.
Bro so glad you did the review. I was waiting for you or DJ TLM to do one to help solidify my thoughts about it. Good stuff. Appreciate you homie!
Thanks for this. I bought this and I'm happy.
I saw knife part in the track list. I'm happy
Please can anyone tell me is there a way to stop filter roll jumping out of the track at an odd point?
Can I use bass/mid/treble eq in AUX / turntable ??

love mine, but i agree on the flash drive optin, and i scratch biggr jog wheel or even some mod attatchment wheels.hmmm maybe ill make some and sell um.
Is there not a knob to control the crossfader curve?
great vids been watching djcity and you for awhile can u guys review PA power speakers also that's big part of dj keep it up 👌

This would be such a great controller if it could run as standalone Mixer and had another input.

Is that a Vestax PMC-25 in the background? Don't suppose that's for sale :)? Used to have one and I loved the rotaries.

Underrated controller 🔥👍
ALL is great just the 18 bit soundcard compare to most controller 24 bit is my only negative.
You think someone could tell the difference? I got it and noticed my lows sound horrible
I'm going to buy this soon. Does this work well with Traktor? Currently, I have a Numark Mixdeck, and I'm trying to upgrade! 😁
