Rumination or Psychic Attack? Gain Clarity & Control of Your Mind After Narc Entanglement

  • After a certain amount of time continued rumination can feel unwanted and as if the mind is being invaded by a foreign entity. Although it is probably healthy to think over, reflect and review what has happened during the relationship with a narcissist, after a certain amount of time it can feel as if it is not fulfilling any useful purpose except to keep one feeling stuck, not moving on and listening the the narcissist’s voice and words. This could be viewed as a form of psychic attack from the negative thought forms that don’t actually belong to us but belong to narcissist. If this resonates then you may be ready to take the next step in healing and tell the negative thoughts where to go so you can start living the life as a more conscious and aware human.
    Much love, Susannah 🔆🌺

Thank you for your heartfelt words of wisdom, which I'm sure will be appreciated by all, having to gain the knowledge which, were we in a perfect world we would never need to, will help us immensely in our future lives and keep us from falling foul of any further interactions with narcissists be they vulnerable or the grandiose varieties or any variation in-between, as you now have the knowledge for yourself you will see them everywhere, keep smiling and God bless.

This EXACT thing happened to me and was the absolute worst part of the whole encounter with the narc, as if they are living inside of your head. It was so bad that I realised I was being psychically attacked, because this is not part of my normal way of thinking and being.

I know it is at first something I didn’t realise and then I suddenly got it! Once you realise it gets better, sending love ❤️

I think the reason we ruminate(until we break cognitive dissonance), is the narrative set by the narcissist-is not what really happened. It's confusing to say the least.

I agree. It's taking me time to tease out what was true and what was not, and make sure I'm acting on truth instead of the deception for 51 years. It's really helping me figure out, what I'm doing wrong -- why I attract narcissists. Why whenever I enabled them, I was helping evil. :( I am re-framing my past experiences with the new knowledge that I've gained, and it's helping. I find it more easy to shun people who are only interested in using me to hurt others, because make no mistake, I've been fooled into hurting people. :( It helps to understand where I went wrong.
