Hello Susannah, you have been through a very personal and one sided event, it was, and is and will be for all that were, and are, and who will be targeted by a narcissist, what the narc did was to mirror you, during the early stage he mirrored your qualities, your empathy, your good will for all etc etc etc, giving you all the feelings of having found your soul mate and a life long companion, alas, in reality it never was or would ever be. I feel its the most cruel and hurtful thing that one person can do to another, future faking, a false reality, your dream of happiness torn to shreds, despicable to say the least. You, I, we, will go through a learning curve, the event, will make you think about yourself as you never have before, you will think deeply and look at your life from a different view point, fundamentally you have not changed, you are the same person you were before, your empathy your decency all your qualities will not change, your personality will be the same, but, in future you will tread more carefully, you wont rush, you will find yourself again, it takes time, the time it takes is an individual thing, give yourself time explore new things new ventures, you will feel lonely and perhaps a little lost, but you will get there, your a strong person, stronger than you know, actually it shows. Communication is great, giving someone a call having a nice natter does help, but heres the thing, most wont understand, so for the most part it will be in your memory only, the great thing is, new memories will replace the old ones, and in time the old ones will go away. I know its hard and its something that should never have happened but it did, but your life will go on, you will get there a healthier and much wiser person, there are many who have been there got the T shirt etc, so your never really never alone, your a member a worldwide club, God Bless.

Hope you're okay? You are a strong lady anyway from going through so much, before, but I relate to the loneliness. It's so sad in the UK as general too, miserable. We have to find our own home/ creature comforts, & happiness for ourselves.

I never felt close emotionally lovemaking with the covert narc (it felt like a ghost). There was none in the end... the act was robotic. It lasted maybe 1 week. In person I could tell something was amiss. You do overlook it during. Only want one thing. It changed from 1 wk to another. I remember no closeness the last time. Its like the act only. I know how you feel.

Before I knew what a narcissist was, I knew I was being targeted and manipulated in this way. I also realized that once I was being triangulated, the third party was also being triangulated through yet another fourth party who was more in the distance. So when my ex cheated, he was also secondarily cheating on the affair partner, and then had a kind of daisy chain of relationships that were each being used to manipulate and control the next one in the chain, and he played one off against the other. Demonic.

Narcissist s are misogynists . They take pleasure in trying to destroy a woman by breaking down their self esteem. It is evil , twisted and sick.

This EXACT thing happened to me and was the absolute worst part of the whole encounter with the narc, as if they are living inside of your head. It was so bad that I realised I was being psychically attacked, because this is not part of my normal way of thinking and being.

Thank you for this I was married to a narcissist for 20 years he brought me down to a dark place broke my heart then discarded me I have learnt so much been on my own for 20 years now and now have become a stronger person and have become more aware of people personally and have more conpasion for people and understanding

Knowing nothing about Tarot I found your video very interesting and a very nice introduction for me, Thank you. Listening to you talk of your experiences with the narcissist I did feel at one point we were comparing notes, the similarities from one narc to another just proves that they all appear to operate from the same manual. I totally agree with you on the feeling of having lost and wasted precious time and given far more love ,energy, and money than we should have, but, like you, I now have the knowledge and never will I be a target again, as always keep smiling and God bless.

I'm sure you will know this, at the end of any relationship be it normal or toxic is emotionally sinusoidal, in that your feelings will come and go and be up and down, it's a very normal process, although having to deal with a narcissistic toxic relationship will be worse, the victim is trying to fathom out what exactly went on, trying to rationalize things, alas, you can't, you aren't the narc, it's almost impossible to fathom out what's going on in a crazy person's mind, this I feel is where we need to just let it go. Eventually you will be able to totally put it behind you, you will perhaps from time to have a momentary flash back, but the moments will stop eventually, and no longer will you give it the time or space in your mind, you won't even want to speak about it, the narc is a waste of your time and energy and will never be worthy of it, keep smiling and God bless.

Even if the narcissistic relationship has no physical abuse, the surging cortisol from the emotional and mental abuse consistently targeted at the scapegoat will result in stress related illness. Therefore all narcissistic relationships are physically abusive.

Congratulations on the new job, I don't think it matters where you work or what the work might be, there is always a pecking order, you'll find your feet and go forward, as per the toxic individuals just use the knowledge you have gained, it applies to them all be it narcissistic or just a toxic sob, just keep smiling and don't let them grind you down.

I've been affected not having money for food. So its finances too. I noticed they always have fridge/cupboards full (but stingy or withold) .. they wont be struggling.

There is very abusive behavior from the narcissists partner reacting to the narcissists and it comes out in how the partner treats food…and the children suffer because of the partner not the narcissist. They deprive themselves of food…creating eating disorders in their kids, they are super cheap about food and sharing meals with guests, they are more worried about cleaning up than enjoying company..these enablers make me sick.

Typical behavior, causing confusion, crazy making, having you walking on eggshells, they all the same.

I’m sending you some love beautiful soul ! I resonate with you, as a survivor and actually I have had problems with a person l know as well as certain family members. This person isn’t a partner, but there’s been some things that have come to light with my journey and have witnessed what I believe is shapeshifting in brief moments where the mask slipped and their eyes turned black no joke ! It happened a couple of times, it was really freaky to see and other times they couldn’t look at me when I had set boundaries etc … I had stood my ground and had said a few things where they actually were caught out , as was being assertive and taking no nonsense and they could not look at me in the eyes when I was talking and started talking to me whilst looking at the wall. I have noticed how the odd spiritual person can be and whilst like to believe most come from a good place, ego has nothing to do with it in the sense of thinking it’s a “ Spiritual competition “ which I have noticed this and glad you brought this up , as it is off putting and don’t believe it’s a competition it’s a unique journey for us all and realising the oneness and having compassion is more important to me personally!
