Hi there Jason. I really love watching your videos and I would love to say thanks for getting me through a particularly difficult time.
Why not call your new highbanker "The Big Rig" after well... someone else. You have said a few videos ago that he wont be around forever so maybe calling the highbanker that would also mean that youll always be taking it/him prospecting/mining all the time.
He/it will always be "the hard working minor!" No doubt youll have a picture of Rigby on The Big Rig too so even after you retire him permanently from his mining duties, he'll still have a part of the adventure. What do you say Jason?
Good Idea?
I'll never stop watching your videos.
I'll never stop enjoying your adventures.
Keep up the good work Jason.
I love every minute of it.
Give Rig a scrath for me.

The Big Rig it is !!!!
Awesome 🍻
As someone who knows a little about the sawtooth mat. You will be surprised how well dumping material onto the sawtooth man holds that gold from the rivers. Most of it will be caught before the end of the sawtooth mat before it hits your drilled holes. Heck Vogus used as an indicator mat on the river and was surprised how well it caught the gold. Yes, it is one of the better matts for the beach but boy does it work well on the rivers. Good luck out there. Looking forward to the results. Great design. I think it looks like it should work well and should be called The Goldantor. Congrats on your header water feeder. Nice to see flour gold wizard bring something out the gold community that everyone could use. Take care Jason. Bring down that gold and show who's Boss!
The sawtooth is my favorite mat of all time!!!! I only wish i had more of it !!!! Thanks Rob !!!!
Like the design!! Can't wait to see it in action. Thought you were about to TEST then I looked at time left, NOT TODAY. Should have had a bucket ready to test😂 can't wait
Soon very soon
Thats a "Flower Gold Beast" right there
Heavy Pans!!!
The beast….🍻✅
Make a hamster wheel for Rex (hang some BoBo Links for him to chase) powering a mechanical pump to supply water to the high banker! It took me some serious cobbles to come up with this one!
I’ll talk to him about it..🤣🐕
Man would you look at that hoodie collection Jason has goin 🫣🫣👀🤣🤣🤣🤣 sweet setup brother, can’t wait to see it in action
I’m getting excited too buddy
I have a crazy idea... If you make it a 2 pail system. One lower and one higher. Use a ram pump to bring the water from the lower bucket to the higher bucket - no electricity or machinery. You can then have a bigger bucket on the lower to fill on one end, and a smaller bucket up top to feed the flexible piping to the smooth water header. You do lose some water in the ram pump, but you don't have to lift it so high. You can even use a smaller bucket to fill with.
Now we’re getting scientific!!😃
Just made a big 12" river sluice into a high banker kinda rocks through a bucket in no time! from watching ur videos been watching for 2 years now love the vids
Excellent!
Jason, you really thought this out. The next thing is to test it. You may have something here to gather more flour gold. Name it "The Creek High Banker."
So far so good ! It doesn’t leak off the bottom but I haven’t run material over it yet …
That was awesome Jason. I look forward to seeing it run.
You and me both!
Reverse your gravity dredge. You just need to put the pipe upstream the water pressure just needs to be out of the water connected to the bottom of the smoothe water so you should not need to long a pipe. Thanks for the share! Stay awesome.
I agree as long as there’s enough elevation drop to do it
@@FlourgoldWizards You could also use one or those no electric water pumps . same idea but needs less elevation .
Good work on your sluice box.. liked the punch hole drilling template drillathon.
The Smooth Flow Header is coming along nicely. The latest version is sweet and the 3d printing is looking glass smooth! Great job Jason.
Peace Prospector Tripp
My drill was getting hot so i took a few breaks…🔥🤣🤣🤣✌️✌️✌️
Yes , that caused complete Adrillation amongst the viewers PT
Thank God I got my order in before the floodgates open on these new smooth water, sluice headers.
Thanks for all that you do Jason It pays to be always tinkering with your sluices. You’re not only a teacher but an inventor. Can’t forget to give a big thanks to your support team, Mrs. Wizard, and Junior Miss Wizards Rigby and the boys. ⛏️⛏️🫡🍻🍻😎
Well thanks Tye !
Yep you got me thinking about your restrictions no electrical or fuel driven motors for your pump system , Solution water powered pump like the old flour mills used , scaled down of cause, running
a simple water pump via a shaft with gearing if that floats your boat. Food for thought Jason Cheers Mate👍👍👍😎💨🏴☠☮☮☕☕💡🔧💡☺☺
Thats a recurring theme!
I seen you were busy in the shop. I like the high banker you’re putting together you always have some good ideas. I seen some cool stuff on how to get water to the high banker. Thanks again for the video, cobbles to ya Jason 🍻
So many possibilities!
I have a 6" vdr sluice with their header box on it already do I dare tear it off because I like your smooth water box header and would like to purchase one. Can't wait to see your new high banker invention in action. Have a great day and give the mining crew a scratch behind the ears.
I had the same issue with my 6” vdr sluice… i took it off and cut the back wall out. I still have 1 or 2 units that fit on it! Much better!
Run a hose upstream attached to the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket . Connect it to your sluice
I would really need some drop and elevation to do that
Best of luck with the design.
Thank you! Cheers!
Looks like you had a fun and productive day in the shop. Keep at it, Jason.
Always!
Maybe a ram pump as option 2 for water... put it upstream and run a hose down to your sluice... no electricity required so legal!
You are lucky, in MN no sluices allowed! All I can use is a pan! Or classify a bunch of material and drag it home to process it. In the river or creek pans only!
idea to hold your bent piece of tin in place and maybe catch some of the black magnetic sand... use 2 powerful magnets from underneath...
Clever !!!!
All hail the fridge of wonder!
Yep 🍻🤣🍻
Cant wait to see how it works on the beach this summer! Looking good my friend. ;-)
You and me both!
Can't wait to see it in action on the creek!
Me either!!!

Fun working in the shop I heard that.
I’ve heard that too…🍻🤣
Get one of those blue things with the water spigot made it pointed straight out the back. Run some of that PVC from your dredge as long as you're at the bottom of a waterfall or something with that. You should be able to get water into it without lifting it or having legal issues. Just an idea.
My thoughts exactly as long as there’s enough dropping elevation
Cool setup indeed fam 👍🤠. Keep at it. Gold Squad Out 🤠
Thanks, will do!
👋🏼
Great idea!
Looking forward to you testing it out!
🍻🍻🍻

AFNB...🍺🍻🍺
You and me both!🇺🇸✅🍻
The "Rigby" of course for the large one, then as they get smaller it's " Rigby2, 1.." etc.
🐺✅🤣
Have you looked into bernoulli's principal using the venturi effect? That may get you in the right direction of getting water to the proper height with carrying minimal materials into the creek.
No but i will!!
You should call it "Big Newton".... It sounds like fig newton... It's big (which rhymes with fig), but Newton discovered gravity..... lol
I thought the bumble from rudolf discovered gravity…😃🍻✅
Awesome design. Can't wait to see it catching some gold!
You and me both!
Nice Jason,it’ll be cool to see your sluice box in action. Thanks Jason, later man.
Im excited!
Mount a type of small paddle wheel on the side and let the spinning of the wheel pump water up into to bucket or right into the water outlet...
I’ll paddle wheel? I like it.
@@FlourgoldWizards I'd think it would keep spinning as long as you have current
@FlourgoldWizards if you go with it... Can you call it the Willie wheel in honor of my father William?...
Nice work, great setup , Man !!!, if there was only a way to introduce the water to the sluice without having to manually fill the header bucket , you could make a fortune patenting the equipment . Maybe something like a water wheel delivery system that worked off the flow of the creek spinning around dropping the water in the header bucket . Hmmm . A bit more equipment to carry though . You could always take along a lackey to fill the header bucket , Nice work Jason , keep on Dancin' Bro . Cheers Nev 👍👍✔✌
There certainly are many possibilities! The less things we have to haul the better !
@@FlourgoldWizards Exactly !!! 👍
Love the ingenuity with it. Been wondering if getting a mini monster and attaching one of your smooth flow heads to it, minus the highbanker section, would be good for hitting those beach sands
That would be cool!
Can't wait to see it running.
Me either!!!
You could use something like the gravity dredge you made and have the high banker further down the crick
That’s the way I’m leaning for sure
Wicked episode in the shop! ✨
Yes it was!
Maybe you could make a 3D printed or aluminium water wheel that gets turned by the water but also dumps it into a bucket or straight onto the sluice ? A bit like a wheat mill is powered ?
If Ryan holds it every time, I would be happy to🤣🤣🤣✅
@FlourgoldWizards lol he's got the hight 😆
Use the pvc pipe idea i through at you a few months ago for the gravity fed water. It does not have to be straight pipe but you definitely dont want it corrugated. They make it in a flexible clear tube thats fiber reinforced for strength. Can roll it up n off you go
We need more elevation drop
Ok how about this, use a tarp to create a dam, in the center of the tarp make a hole with some fittings and attach a hose that leads to the sluice. Rather than elevation then maybe pressure? Imagine you filled a balloon that had a pin hole in it, the pressure shoots the water pretty far. Plus it would be easy to transport and set up if it works.
That front frigde getting sticky full 🤣👍
Tell me about it
👀gives me idea🤣@@FlourgoldWizards
Very ingenious!!! Great idea!!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice upper track and nice Flour Gold Wizard that start water flow that is awesome
Thanks 👍
Oh cool,I love building new stuff to wash dirt
When you put it like that…😃🍻✅
Great looking setup!
Thanks for sharing
🙏❤️🌲
Thanks for watching!
This vid is a kick in my backside to get on finishing my new to me highbanker! Tks Jason!
You’re welcome🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Awesome show sir
So nice of you!
😊Your stuff looks great 😊Thanks❤
Thank you! 😊
Very nice Jason. Look forward to hearing from you about that header box.
They are absolutely fantastic
You making that high banker for some reason remained me of that song by Johnny Cash , One Piece at a Time 🙂
Lol… 🍻
nice job Jason ,what about a gravity ram pump style drive and believe me my idea is not what is normally thought of as a ram pump it's extremely different from what everyone is putting out there. i am sure you maybe impressed.
Can you email me a video?
Glad to see you in such a good mood! I'm looking forward to the test.
Thank you!
Great idea👍. I was thinking that in a running stream or brook, you could use some PVC pipe to run water directly to the high banker. The same concept as a gravity fed dreadge. It builds pressure. Depending on how low the high banker is and how hard the water is running naturally. 🤷♀️ Though it may not work in all situations. You could always get a hand crank pump( like one in a 55 gal oil drum) to bring water from a bucket, with screened off holes, sitting in the water source to deliver the water. Hope someone can help with ideas. Looking forward to seeing what you choose
I second the hand pump..
That’s the direction I am leaning for sure
You come up with the coolest stuff / solutions! Always thinking!🍻
Thank you! Cheers!
You could run a hose from upstream like you did with the forced water vacuum
That’s the direction I’m leaning
the header boxes look great...
Thanks !
You should just buy some adjustable sluice mounts and bolt them to the upper tray so that it is fully adjustable angle
Nice !
We call those extra punches Beer Holes.
Enjoy!
Good luck on the gravity water drop-unit!
I like that 🍻🍻🍻✅
A well thought out system. You've done your homework 🍻 👍🤠
Thanks 👍
Call it "Rigby's Revenge".....Just because!!
🐺😃🍻
Jason's the fridge wonder it looks a little empty thanks for the video
It’s been rectified…🍻🤣
Dang fine invention and it sparked some fire 🔥 in between my ears , I mite give it a whirl this summer.
Add more logs…🔥🤣🤣🍻
What a great corn trap shion.
🤣🤣🤣✅
That's quite the Frankenbanker you have there. It will probably work great.
I like that name
We got two river sluices, add legs to one, drill a bunch of holes in the other. Find some more legs from somewhere else, stick those on. Add some silicone for good measure and all held together with a clothes hanger. I love it@@FlourgoldWizards
Well, I'm not sure how far you have to walk in to your spot, but if you use a small like 15 gallon barrel and about 20 feet pvc pipe with a big cone on one end. An attach that about 2/3 of the way up your barrel. And put a outlet at the bottom. You can have your barrel sitting on the bank. Filling up from the flow of your streem the water Pressure in the barrel should be adequate to push water through a hose into your smooth water head. My name is Dusty Beireis I watch all your videos and love your content.
Im leaning somewhat in that direction!!
It's a tried and tested method I've used up here in Washington
I was thinking about a bellow type water pump , foot operated . Great ideas begin small !
Indeed they do!
You sound like me in my garage talkin to myself through my projects. Haha Looks like it'll work well. Cant wait for test day.
Well, nobody listens to me like I listen to me….
@@FlourgoldWizards it really is the only way to get a job done right. Atleast thats what i like to tell myself! Ha!
Hey Jason, look into Ram pumps. No electricity needed and it gives a pulse flow continuously so you could build a 10 gallon 2 bucket reservoir for continual flow
I can’t find one that can pump 1200 gph !
Like a siphon pump using centrifugal force.
Yep
Those headers look great. Need one for my 6” royal
More coming…😃✅
Looking real fine Jason
Very nice contraption lol lol
For water delivery I was thinking maybe a foot pump type
Or if high enough bank gravity feed maybe
Cheers 🍻
CrouchOz
I am leaning towards possibly getting water from further upstream😃🍻
great concept.... J Wizards Flowmaster seems suitable...
Good luck on in the field testing
Thanks Mike ✅😃
The 6” model would work amazing with my Gold Hog mini 6. Thanks for the video Jason !
You bet!
Cool setup!! Interested to see it in action.
You and me both!
Nice new toy. So happy to hear you mention the prospector rules of Wisconsin. Most often not mentioned in videos. Wondering if you removed the bottom back half and a little strip of the back, your wonder head might work in a stream. Water seeks its level ,like the damn you build for sluching to flow through the slush. Just a thought. Thanks again Jason..
We’ll be testing lots of methods!!
Ok so you can’t use an electric pump. How about a hand pump? You could adapt your siphon hand pump that you use to get into hole and cracks by fitting a couple of check valves on it, use it like a great big bicycle air pump.
Working on it 😃
Pretty cool a foot pump system could possibly work?? Cobbles⛏️⛏️👍
Possibly!
@@FlourgoldWizards ya something that could replenish you bucket or something on the bank much bigger and possibly pump water back into the container when you are clearing the tailings? As for myself I can't even use a river sluice😞 it's so ridiculous here in BC. Like I make more silt and mud using my nugget bucket and it works sweet but it cripples a guy after 3 to 5 hours!! Thanks again for the time it takes to we get watch your videos!!! It's greatly appreciated!!,⛏️⛏️👍🍀🤟
Here's an idea, use a rear wheel from a bike make it like a waterwheel in a moving stream chain drive to a water pump hose that to your new invention for no electrical water delivery to the sluice
It's all in the gearing
Definitely need to get geared up for that 😃🍻✅
Slick. If you are going to set up in a river with this, then how about a foot pump that feeds the water? Simple wedge with some springs and flexible sides. Hose from the top to the connection point on your distributor. Hanging water of this is going to be dicy. It's not super wide and it will be top heavy if you put a bucket up there.
Now we’re talking
Good news I bought some beer today in honor of you and the fridge of wonder. I bought some PBR cheers. LOL
Good stuff!
Vane pumps aren't too expensive. You could rig one up with a sediment filter on the end of the pickup tube. I would use another black tub like the one you set your 5 gallon catch bucket in, then put in on legs behind your sluice. Put a drain out the bottom to feed your smooth water head. If you want to vary the flow then you could add a manual shutoff valve in the tube feeding the sluice. When the lower tub is getting full then a few cranks will transfer water back to the top and repeat.
Using the same size black tub allows you to nest them together for ease of transport.
Thanks for the video, and pet those mining partners for me.
Always another great idea from the comments. Thank you.
My recommendation for your holes on the top run is to add counter sink holes to make a vortexif you will for each hole.
Clever!
@@FlourgoldWizards thank you. Just a idea given how the vdr sluice works great for flour gold
set a 5 gal plastic water jug with the bottom cut out on a barstool with a hole in the seat for the bottle neck to stick though, and with a hose running from the neck of the water jug to the input of your header box and dump water in to it like a huge funnel. if you put a plastic ball valve in the hose you can control the water flow. non electric, and you still get the flat water advantage of your header box.
I like that
I'm not sure I really understood you about not being able to use electrical devises, but have you considered a hand pump for your water flow? ( it could be the cobbles talking) 🤠👍👍👍
Wisconsin law states no mechanical devices😭
A great name " Blue Ribbon Sluth "!
Nice 🍻✅
I've said it before but you make a great Skips..
Well maybe a cross between muscle man and skips
🤣🤣🤣🍻
love the smooth water sluice,,yes i think i am nearing the gravity fed system most defiantly would like one of each size Jason i will wait until you have the 3 inch nailed then i will be good to purchase,
Way to go well done.,
I've been on the gravity system and research solid now 1.2yrs i think i have it nailed just a little more research and testing,
Love to all the wizards❤😂
There sure is an awful lot to consider!!!
good vid today
Appreciate it✌️
Cool idea…not being able to use power to supply water…if the flow in the creek is strong enough could it assist a siphon to supply water 🤔🤔 Now with a few PBR’s I’m sure you could come up with something….my thoughts is a type of large funnel totally submerged in the creek catching as much of the water flow as possible and with that force possibly keeping the siphon going even with a rise in elevation. Good luck 👍 oh I accept Royalties 😂
Well, if it works, royalties is what you shall have all the free water you can drink🤣🤣🤣🍻
Those smoothwaters look fantastic! I can't wait to get mine buddy!..... I am already in the process of modifying my Dream Mat Trek sluice so that I can run it in tandem with my GoldHog Mini stream powered by the Smoothwater, video to come! Is this the first time you run Dream Mat?... I can't remember having seen you run it before...
I ran the Dream Mat at the beach briefly……
How IT cost one 10" smoothwater i need for make my sluce beach.
How about a water wheel pump concept?
Maybe!
Youve made the big time! Utube slamin your channel with advertizements😅
Lol… way too many!!
That's a Lot of drilling, Bro', should've made them 3/8"😆👀👌
It works well in the shop ! Im glad i took the time to make it like that ..🤣✅
Have you thought of using a air ram pump
Got to call it the "RIGb"
🐺✅✅✅
I want one!
😃
Tinkering in the shop again.
I’m guessing you’re snowed in 😂, great work Jason but seriously bud what’s wrong with sitting on your lazy boy recliner and just chill 😂
If I could sit still for an hr i would….🤣🤣✅🍻🍻
Now you are John-ing up your sluice !!! Mostly for crick use - as that beach sand will easily sluice down the runways
We’ll see aye ?!!! 😃
