Hi there Jason. I really love watching your videos and I would love to say thanks for getting me through a particularly difficult time.
Why not call your new highbanker "The Big Rig" after well... someone else. You have said a few videos ago that he wont be around forever so maybe calling the highbanker that would also mean that youll always be taking it/him prospecting/mining all the time.
He/it will always be "the hard working minor!" No doubt youll have a picture of Rigby on The Big Rig too so even after you retire him permanently from his mining duties, he'll still have a part of the adventure. What do you say Jason?
    Good Idea?
I'll never stop watching your videos.
I'll never stop enjoying your adventures.
Keep up the good work Jason.
I love every minute of it.
Give Rig a scrath for me.

As someone who knows a little about the sawtooth mat. You will be surprised how well dumping material onto the sawtooth man holds that gold from the rivers. Most of it will be caught before the end of the sawtooth mat before it hits your drilled holes. Heck Vogus used as an indicator mat on the river and was surprised how well it caught the gold. Yes, it is one of the better matts for the beach but boy does it work well on the rivers. Good luck out there. Looking forward to the results. Great design. I think it looks like it should work well and should be called The Goldantor. Congrats on your header water feeder. Nice to see flour gold wizard bring something out the gold community that everyone could use. Take care Jason. Bring down that gold and show who's Boss!

I have a crazy idea... If you make it a 2 pail system. One lower and one higher. Use a ram pump to bring the water from the lower bucket to the higher bucket - no electricity or machinery. You can then have a bigger bucket on the lower to fill on one end, and a smaller bucket up top to feed the flexible piping to the smooth water header. You do lose some water in the ram pump, but you don't have to lift it so high. You can even use a smaller bucket to fill with.

Reverse your gravity dredge. You just need to put the pipe upstream the water pressure just needs to be out of the water connected to the bottom of the smoothe water so you should not need to long a pipe. Thanks for the share! Stay awesome.

Maybe a ram pump as option 2 for water... put it upstream and run a hose down to your sluice... no electricity required so legal!
You are lucky, in MN no sluices allowed! All I can use is a pan! Or classify a bunch of material and drag it home to process it. In the river or creek pans only!
idea to hold your bent piece of tin in place and maybe catch some of the black magnetic sand... use 2 powerful magnets from underneath...

Maybe something like a water wheel delivery system that worked off the flow of the creek spinning around dropping the water in the header bucket . Hmmm . A bit more equipment to carry though . Ok how about this, use a tarp to create a dam, in the center of the tarp make a hole with some fittings and attach a hose that leads to the sluice. Rather than elevation then maybe pressure? Imagine you filled a balloon that had a pin hole in it, the pressure shoots the water pretty far. Plus it would be easy to transport and set up if it works.

Great idea👍. I was thinking that in a running stream or brook, you could use some PVC pipe to run water directly to the high banker. The same concept as a gravity fed dreadge. It builds pressure. Depending on how low the high banker is and how hard the water is running naturally. 🤷‍♀️ Though it may not work in all situations. You could always get a hand crank pump( like one in a 55 gal oil drum) to bring water from a bucket, with screened off holes, sitting in the water source to deliver the water. Hope someone can help with ideas. Looking forward to seeing what you choose

Well, I'm not sure how far you have to walk in to your spot, but if you use a small like 15 gallon barrel and about 20 feet pvc pipe with a big cone on one end. An attach that about 2/3 of the way up your barrel. And put a outlet at the bottom. You can have your barrel sitting on the bank. Filling up from the flow of your streem the water Pressure in the barrel should be adequate to push water through a hose into your smooth water head. @@FlourgoldWizards ya something that could replenish you bucket or something on the bank much bigger and possibly pump water back into the container when you are clearing the tailings? As for myself I can't even use a river sluice😞 it's so ridiculous here in BC. Like I make more silt and mud using my nugget bucket and it works sweet but it cripples a guy after 3 to 5 hours!! Thanks again for the time it takes to we get watch your videos!!! It's greatly appreciated!!,⛏️⛏️👍🍀🤟

Here's an idea, use a rear wheel from a bike make it like a waterwheel in a moving stream chain drive to a water pump hose that to your new invention for no electrical water delivery to the sluice

Slick. If you are going to set up in a river with this, then how about a foot pump that feeds the water? Simple wedge with some springs and flexible sides. Hose from the top to the connection point on your distributor. Hanging water of this is going to be dicy. It's not super wide and it will be top heavy if you put a bucket up there.

Vane pumps aren't too expensive. You could rig one up with a sediment filter on the end of the pickup tube. I would use another black tub like the one you set your 5 gallon catch bucket in, then put in on legs behind your sluice. Put a drain out the bottom to feed your smooth water head. If you want to vary the flow then you could add a manual shutoff valve in the tube feeding the sluice. When the lower tub is getting full then a few cranks will transfer water back to the top and repeat.
Using the same size black tub allows you to nest them together for ease of transport.
Thanks for the video, and pet those mining partners for me.

My recommendation for your holes on the top run is to add counter sink holes to make a vortexif you will for each hole.

set a 5 gal plastic water jug with the bottom cut out on a barstool with a hole in the seat for the bottle neck to stick though, and with a hose running from the neck of the water jug to the input of your header box and dump water in to it like a huge funnel. if you put a plastic ball valve in the hose you can control the water flow. non electric, and you still get the flat water advantage of your header box.

I'm not sure I really understood you about not being able to use electrical devises, but have you considered a hand pump for your water flow? ( it could be the cobbles talking) 🤠👍👍👍

Cool idea…not being able to use power to supply water…if the flow in the creek is strong enough could it assist a siphon to supply water 🤔🤔 Now with a few PBR’s I’m sure you could come up with something….my thoughts is a type of large funnel totally submerged in the creek catching as much of the water flow as possible and with that force possibly keeping the siphon going even with a rise in elevation. Good luck 👍 oh I accept Royalties 😂
