My R6M2 set the material not right as clog3 but as rec709, so i have manualy correct this. So what mistake I made? For me the LOG interpretation feature is absolutely great.

After all, it's only about your Ideas🤗 Just practice more and don't be afraid to experiment! You can even use a piece of paper and a pencil, rather than progressive AI programs and other stuff. I have been testing Firefly for the last few days. The results were wonderfully horrific! I was asking for things like woman playing cello in dark forest and getting back a woman with disjointed face, imploded mouth etc and her arm was the bow or non-existent. Often the cello was under her chin like a violin. For me these were inspiring and very usable for a music video and my feedback to Adobe was very positive - until I realised that maybe they didn’t want the image to be so distorted!! Try ‘pigs with wings flying’ and add option like photo, Sci-fi or something and you should get evil pigs with three ears and at least one with no wings. Great fun!

Thanks for always keeping us informed and educated. Would love to hear your take sometime on the number of creators ditching Premiere Pro for DaVinci Resolve. I think it's "shiny new thing" syndrome to a degree but would love to hear from someone who runs a Premiere channel.
As a premiere user CS5.5 - CC19 that is now more or less a full-time resolve editor... Without going into any depth resolve is not something new and shiny. To the contrary black magic has been developing foundational support for the software since the inception of the edit tab. Laying the groundwork for so much scalability I think means we will see a lot of bells and whistles to come. But it's a solid editor 100%. And for color there is no comparison to anything Adobe offers. Because premiere is legacy software it's hard to recreate adaptable systems for color in the way resolve exists, Being a colorists program first. I didn't realize what a big deal this was until I started learning resolve, which opened up the world of color (an insanely deep topic, after 4 years I've barely scratched the surface). There's a ton to say, but workflow possibilities are super flexible in resolve and that's huge. The 1 exception: Fusion is not great. Not even really good in some cases. There is NO replacement for after effects. But once we open that can of worms we are comparing one piece of software to an entire suite of software. Not apples to apples. Definitely give it a look if you have the bandwidth. Black magic is an amazing company. They produce phenomenal products end-to-end
If you make a living out of video editing do as much as you can while you can. There will be a time (sooner than you think) when all it will take for the avg Joe and Jane is to ask AI for a video with certain style, story, look, duration, your favorite actor faces (heck, even your face), etc. and it will be delivererd to them quickly and free with amazing results.
Wish they fix the export for washed up colors for Mac users. I have to select the Display Color Management in settings and also add a LUT at export. Its very inconvenient.

As Long as Premiere doesn’t implement the „save after every move“ from resolve I’m never going back. It’s such a game changer never needing to think about saving again. You can still have backups every so often but you never lose anything. And resolve runs smoother anyways.
Envato elements has a lot of issues with copy right claims on RUclips and this can be a pain whenever you upload a video on youtube and it automatically gets a copy right claim, even if the song or element asset they’re claiming is not the correct title that matches the copyright claimant. Another thing is they don’t let you use your finished product if it includes their assets in a broadcast environment and on demand services unlike other platforms like artlist or motionarray. This is one of the reasons I cancelled my subscription. Viewers would appreciate it if these things are mentioned whenever you pitch envato elements to them. One thing I gotta give to them though is the quality of their background music, sound effects and video footage.
I can recall only 1 time I got a claim for a music track, but it was easy to clear as I had a license from Elements. I need to look into your broadcast note and compare to others to be sure.
I think you don’t understand to use Envato elements. Every time when you download an asset from Envato, especially music, they warning you that you have to download the license for RUclips because the music may be copyrighted on RUclips. All what you have to do is to register your project (video) when you download that track, and push that license against the copyright, then the copyright will be removed 100%. Envato have only one and simple license to over all assets, you only must know how to use it. I use Envato since 2019 without any issues.

Log is not just "flat footage", we should remember that is a mathematical exponent of the real contrast curve, thus a logarithm. We as video editors should build some interest into the engineering foundations of our carreer. Cheers!
I had issues with the "Auto Detect Log Footage" interfering with my color calibration. Waiting for some advise from RUclips, but glad I don't have to fiddle with LUTS
Tried and gave up on Version 23, again. When it came out, it continually crashed on my laptop and pc. This recent update, I tried and yay, it ran and I produced one video last week. This week, colors are all gooned up again, it won't load a LUT, and it won't adjust exposure using the curves and waveform. And I'm using proxies. Back to version 22.
Adobe firefly for video will be a game changer, was thinking of getting an editor but with firefly can do cool graphical text with sound fx overlays for me instead. I wonder when they're going to be ready

I don't need automatic LUT`s because every time, when I load my Sony FX6 Footage into Premiere it puts an unusable LUT on it - automatically. To avoid this, you have to deactivate this in the preferences. It's a known bug ;-) but you mentioned this issue...
Adobe... PLEASE!!!!!! create a Rec 709-A color space tag for exports, the way that Da Vinci has for its users. I'm literally one step away from leaving Premier Pro for Da Vinci because of this issue. I'm so tired of desaturated exports... SO TIRED. I can't give clients some strange correction LUT covered video that only looks good on some viewers.
I've been testing Firefly all day (...just received permission for the beta this morning) and really putting it to the test. Amazing! And, I quite agree...it should be used to create something that takes hours to make manually or searching for hours online. However, there are some glitches. For example, when generating images of people, some portions of the bodies are distorted (i.e., like the face, arms or hands). Still, in beta so I hope they work out the kinks.

I know they are very much promoted everywhere but it does not look good, it is so "in you're face" mic. A mic attached to a person's clothes should not be so noticeable.

Silly footnote: FCPX had this back in 2011, along with background exporting, rendering and a bunch of other features Adobe is just now adding. It either shows how forward thinking Apple was, or how behind the times Adobe is. I almost exclusively Premiere for work, because the industry abandoned Apple.

Question: I've been searching RUclips but can't find an answer to this: I exported an image sequence from Unreal, when I import it in Premiere, even though I change the 'image duration' to 1 frame, each image is still 2 frames in the timeline, causing my image sequence to play 50% slow. Do you know how I can actually get 1 frame per image when I import images into Timeline?

I love the auto log detect however when I send it to Media encoder it does not come up. I end up rendering out my entire project without the log detect working. So you forgot to mention to your viewers that they have to do the same thing in media encoder and order for it to continue working. Other than that great job on the video.
Gday, I'm running Premiere Pro 24.1 and this option does not appear. Are you only showing features in the beta version? UPDATE: In Ver. 24.1, I found the Auto Detect checkbox in the Color Workspace, not the Preferences. We busy professionals have been plagued for years when Techy Geeks move things around just to make changes. If they operated under deadlines, they would understand how annoying and time wasting this is.

These Subtitles in the beginning weren't made with premiere i guess? Or is there a "hack" to highlight each word in time using subtitles?

Silly footnote: FCPX had this back in 2011, along with background exporting, rendering and a bunch of other features Adobe is just now adding. It either shows how forward thinking Apple was, or how behind the times Adobe is. I almost exclusively Premiere for work, because the industry abandoned Apple.
@@timthompson9246 Oh that is interesting. But he still had to transcode every single bit of footage before I even starting to edit on FCP. I couldn't stand FCP and I'm glad that the industry abandoned it or Apple abandoned it, whichever it was
Premiere Gal, I've been watching you for years! Question: I've been searching RUclips but can't find an answer to this: I exported an image sequence from Unreal, when I import it in Premiere, even though I change the 'image duration' to 1 frame, each image is still 2 frames in the timeline, causing my image sequence to play 50% slow. Do you know how I can actually get 1 frame per image when I import images into Timeline?

Thank you for the LUT info. Any ideas why when I export through Adobe Media Encoder the LUT is not added? All my footage looks flat.
This was happening even before adding the LUT this new way.

I love the auto log detect however when I send it to Media encoder it does not come up. I end up rendering out my entire project without the log detect working. So you forgot to mention to your viewers that they have to do the same thing in media encoder and order for it to continue working. Other than that great job on the video.
The autosave was a small but big factor for people switching to Davinci lol

In Ver. 24.1, I found the Auto Detect checkbox in the Color Workspace, not the Preferences.
We busy professionals have been plagued for years when Techy Geeks move things around just to make changes. If they operated under deadlines, they would understand how annoying and time wasting this is.
Also cannot see it in my Beta version of Premiere.

I have a critical question for you. I have edited a music video and rendered it. While listening the audio sync is perfect with no delays at all.
However once this is uploaded to RUclips there is a significant delay in audio. Can you please advise me the possible reasons for this?
