Unfortunately, Great Adventure draws in so many from NYC and NY that the governor may not want to open it for awhile as NYC is really bad. However, cases in NJ have been falling a lot lately (not sure about NY.)
Upstate New York is fine. The idiots in the city still dont understand how to stay apart to prevent infection. Upstate ny where I'm from is almost at stage 3 then onto stage 4 once the dumbass governor gets his thumb out his ass
I'm still hyped for this coaster, though even if it doesn't open in 2020 I'm hoping SFGA still opens so I can ride my favorites before I return to college.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is also the worst one where the park wiped everything from the national and park website. The ride is literally in the parking lot, but it likely won't be constructed until much much later.
Even if this pandemic never occurred in the first place, I doubt this coaster would even be ready yet. You know how Six Flags has this annoying habit of not having their new rides ready by the beginning of the season.
I’m not hopeful for 2020. My guess is GA opens in August, and at that point why build a new ride. Although people are scared of the virus especially in NJ and even with the restrictions, I doubt they’ll hit capacity on some days.
I think here is two possibles for Jersey Devil can resume: 1) they are waiting for transfer track, station and lift hill from RMC factory this month or next month so Jersey Devil will might open late summer or early fall or during Fright Fest 2) Its most likely Jersey Devil will open next year on Opening Day 2021. If Six Flags is still doing announcements on late August or before end of the year if Great Adventure to get new kids area expansion if Jersey Devil gets delaying to next year, I can see two additions: Bugs Bunny Boomtown/DC Super Friends and Jersey Devil for next year.
What is going on? I feel like pausing construction on a steel structure for 2 months would affect the quality of the ride. Six flags needs to get on one page.

Menrva Training Solutions they are legally allowed. The governor allowed construction to continue almost a month ago at this point. They were moving super fast before he shut it down too, so it’s almost like they’ve quit. Very frustrating.

@@mmuniz917 we are in the new "normal". don't expect things to go back the way they were before. we are looking at wearing masks probably until 2021-2022.
Theirs no way this coaster will be running by this year they still have track work, station work, electrical work and theming/landscaping to do on top of testing witch takes weeks. I'll be coming next year hopefully when thus pandemic dies down and won't have to wear the stupid mask😞
I think Jersey Devil can wait next year because vaccine is gone testing this July before it will be approved to release early 2021. So the opening day 2021 will have large people since last year for Great Adventure soon. Is by fall and winter the virus will be disappear before end of the year?

Nope, It took the place of a bunch of kids rides. All those rides are in storage so hopefully they will be reinstalled into the park at some point

We're in phase 2 now. Murphy said it's weeks til phase 3. So the park will prob open in July with limited capacity. And we'll have to wear masks.
approval will probably be late July, but there’s still some prep involved, they can’t get approval one day and open the next. That’s not possible
