Hmm, Sean Evans takes that spot. But this dude does make the celebrities comfortable even though most of the questions he asks are generic questions that the actors would've answered 100 times during their press junket.
I have a favorite Tyrion line. It's not one of the ones I see being quoted alot. But here it is,: I'm not questioning your honor Lord Janos, I'm denying it's existence!!!
@Ryan Shirtz Well yeah, I can see why he'd complain about that. Disney does too many remakes as it is. And there have been so many adaptations of a reimagined Snow White just in the last 10-15 years, why do they need to do it again? It's tired. The story is tired, the whole concept of the remake is tired. Let it rest, for God's sake!
I remember seeing Peter in The Station Agent waaaay back in the day, and it was such a brilliant film. It just made my heart happy when he said he'd work with Bobby again first thing. If you haven't seen it, you should
How can you not be head over heels in love with Peter Dinklage? I love his interviews. I don't think he gives himself nearly enough credit. Certainly not like some who go on and on telling you how wonderful they are, although he actually is. He brings something amazing to every part he plays.
I had not seen him until GOT. But he is very talented. I thought he was English. Just like I thought Scotty was a Scotsman. Turns out Scotty was Canadian...
I believe Peter's voice could be the next great voiceover actor (think Morgan Freeman). He's got the deep voice, the vocal inflections, he's a professional actor...I can totally see it.
I absolutely admire Pete Dinklage. He is a brilliant actor and I honestly thought that he was English. I was so shocked when I found out that he's American. He nailed the British accent 🇬🇧
While he killed it in GoT, he really out-did himself in the movie Cyrano. Criminally one of the most underrated films out there in which his performance outshined them all.
I have loved Peter ever since I first saw him as Trumpkin in Cronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian (2008). He was mesmerising to watch then and to see him now and how much he’s done ever since is amazing. His deep voice is like smooth caramel and draws you in as soon as he speaks
Ali Plumb and Sean Evans are what every interviewer wishes they could be. This guy in particular is a master of the art, he doesn't even have a gimmick like hot wings to make it interesting.
If I was still a journalist or had some career interviewing people I would have you as my main inspiration. Granted, youre just a class act in how to TALK to people. Always enjoyable dude.
Man! Peter Dinklage and his amazing acting talent and hard work is what made Tyrian such a great character. I honestly think no one else could have pulled it off! Mr. Dinklage is a rare and amazing actor!
I remember first taking note of his acting skills in "Penelope." It was a small role, but he brought it to a whole other level. He has that "it" factor that makes you go "this is how acting should be done."
These interviews are always so calm and cozy yet funny and entertaining. Ali is the best interviewer I have ever seen! Always know his stuff, never makes his interview partner uncomfortable, like unfortunately a lot other interviewers do. Great job again ❤️
I am an aspiring costume designer. I plan to work in costume for film and television and am currently studying for it in Uni. I appreciate the cosying up to costumers. I will remember this interview. Who knows, maybe one day I will work with Mr. Dinklage and get to witness that for myself.
Tyrion was at the same time the worst of us and the best of us. Smart, bordering genius, he was also socially adept, and a brilliant military strategist. He deserved so much more than he got. He was one of the bravest people he stood his ground and freed both The other two dragons from under the city. Peter himself is amazing as an actor and is insanely smart and witty.
I adore the scene where he freed the dragons! One of my absolute favorite ones! I think the Dragons sense he loved them and didn't wish harm for them. FANTASTIC!
I remember seeing Peter playing Marlowe, the Nanny in Nip/Tuck many years ago, and thinking how talented he was. I knew we would be seeing him in an iconic role one day.
I love how he didn't really remember what was going on in Infinitiy War. Actors, folks. Just remember that you probably remember more, and love more, about their work than they do.
Ir's the first time I see a Cyrano without the Big Nose motive. Dinklage was of course great for the role. Especially because his deep voice also helps to make him "monumental". It's time for an Oscar! And having wonderful actress Linda Hunt handing it to him.
If you were to ask people who their favorite actor is they would probably say Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman, Bruce Willis, Denzel Washington and so on...but if I were to answer this question for sure I would say Peter Dinklage...it is my favorite actor, he has charisma, talent and an incredible voice.
Great interview and Mr. Dinklage should get the Valerian steel dagger he took the heat for. THE MOON DOOR? Best of everything Mr. Dinklage, love your work.
I wish they hadn't cast him as Eritri in Infinity War. Cuz then he could have later been casted in a more prominent role in the MCU. Would love to have more Peter Dinklage in the MCU.
Wicked Smart Man with such a great voice and an amazing presence and intellect... you cannot deny that Peter Owns the room. I'd love to sit in a jail cell and hear him lie to me about what he admits to doing while knowing he may be Kaiser Soze from an intellectual sniper position that the rest of us mortals just cannot understand the scope through which he sees the world. Brilliant mind, actor... blessed to witness his work in real time. "talk about a beam of bright light" and... "Rare is the one you don't want to work with again"... "it makes you realize how great everybody is"... Love this Man's take on time we get to be together and are blessed with each others goodness and badness... we are too long long gone after our flash in the pan.
Peter, YOU are the reason I started watching that show. YOU were the reason I kept watching the show, and lastly, to overfeed your ego. I would not have liked the show much at all had you not OWNED your character as much as you did/do. I where to the total anchor of the show. Love watching your performance and look forward to seeing you in more TV/Movies doing whatever the HELL you want to do! Best Wishes.
I love him! Hopefully they won't critique the Cyrano movie endlessly. Not sure if I dare watch. If it's not a happy ending. Glad that His Life turned out very well with his wife and children. I definitely would be mesmerized.
at most times i dont even think about his height blah blah his acting his voice is so good his height and everything that comes with it is an afterthought i would say that is a credit of how amzing of an actor he is i could watch him all day long just amazing
the way he talks and his voice reminds me so much of kevin smith, like their personalities are different but their voice and its depth sounds identical
I get the sense that he hates Game of Thrones, and I almost wish they gave it to someone who loved it. But he’s so brilliant ! No other living person could ever be Tyrion Lannister.
at the end Peter refers to the show as "Game of Thornes" 😂🤣 I'm sitting here wondering if anyone else noticed that. First time I've heard it said that way. LOL
Watch Peter's full chat with Ali for The Story So Far on BBC iPlayer in the UK here: bbc.in/3LIA6Nv
once again this guy has the best celebrity interviews without any stupid questions, and always does well to make them feel comfortable.
Hmm, Sean Evans takes that spot. But this dude does make the celebrities comfortable even though most of the questions he asks are generic questions that the actors would've answered 100 times during their press junket.
agree
Peter Dinklage is an incredible actor and Ali is probably the best celebrity interviewer out there.
Agree, minimal “ums, likes “ or stutters
The way he said "Clothes. Ohhhhhh i'm special....coz they're never gonna fit anybody else..." with that ever-so-slight smirk, god he's brilliant! 🤣
Those outtakes from first seasons really hit the "it was 10 years ago" point home. That is a good chunk of ones life spent playing a character.

My god this series was amazing. We shall never it's like again...
Peter Dinklage has an amazing voice!!!!! Love everything he does!
I love when actors who came into the MCU briefly talk about how they had basically no idea what was going on.
He was in the MCU?
Marvel cinematic universe, infinity wars as the Asgards giant Smith, he makes a part of thors new weapon the axe head the handle is groots arm.
@@StevenGamesWHC also the politician that wanted to inforce the anti x men robot in Wolverine Days of Future past
@@AstroBear22 Did you not look at the entire video?
just like everyone involved in that shit show called disney movies
I have a favorite Tyrion line. It's not one of the ones I see being quoted alot. But here it is,: I'm not questioning your honor Lord Janos, I'm denying it's existence!!!
This man seems to be, just a real solid dude.
Peter Dinklage is a brilliant actor and a
national treasure! ❤️
Yes.

he actually does voice over the how to become a tyrant/cult leader/mob boss series on netflix and you’re absolutely correct he’s great at it
I absolutely admire Pete Dinklage. He is a brilliant actor and I honestly thought that he was English. I was so shocked when I found out that he's American. He nailed the British accent 🇬🇧
His voice is his instrument.
I saw a preview of Cyrano this week and it's an absolute treat. Peter is heartbreakingly brilliant in it. Go show it some love in cinemas!
While he killed it in GoT, he really out-did himself in the movie Cyrano. Criminally one of the most underrated films out there in which his performance outshined them all.
Peter had my favourite quote in all of GOT "I trust the eyes of an honest man more than I trust what everybody knows."
Watching Ali is always a pleasure but having him interview the iconic person Peter is is pure happiness
Ali Plumb and Sean Evans are what every interviewer wishes they could be. This guy in particular is a master of the art, he doesn't even have a gimmick like hot wings to make it interesting.
And Jake Hamilton too!
If I was still a journalist or had some career interviewing people I would have you as my main inspiration. Granted, youre just a class act in how to TALK to people. Always enjoyable dude.

These interviews are always so calm and cozy yet funny and entertaining.

I love Peter so much! He is a true gentleman and a phenomenal actor. He doesn't get enough accolades for his work. ❤💖

We do not deserve the awesomeness of Peter Dinklage.
Peter Dinklage is the most captivating and talented actor I have ever seen on screen. I would absolutely love to see him in more projects.
Game of Thrones would’ve never had as many seasons as it did without Peter Dinklage
He wasn't even the best Lannister. Liked him a lot but let's not be ridiculous

Yes he was. You’re obviously delusional.
I so love Peter! “I drink and know things”. Love love love♥️😉

peter Drinklage is amazing and Cyrano is such a brilliant film. I could watch it over and over again. You don't want to miss it !
That was awesome!!
Peter makes anything he's in better, just by having that indefinable touch of class. Best of luck for the future!

A very good interview of a tremendous artist.
Just love Peter Dinklage - a great man.
Great interview with a Great Actor.
Peter looked so different from the beginning of the series till the end. One of my favorite actors always!❤

I think he’ll appear in the future. In What If…? Eitri appeared in the last episode who bears the resemblance of Peter Dinklage.
such a humble and immensely talented guy

Peter Dinklage/Tyrion was my favorite for Game of Thrones.
Ali Plumb could interview a jacket potato and I'd watch it
For one on one interviews, Ali Plumb is the absolute legend! Only Graham Norton also breathes that rarified air.
I get the sense that he hates Game of Thrones, and I almost wish they gave it to someone who loved it. But he’s so brilliant ! No other living person could ever be Tyrion Lannister.
The tshirts 😂 I've worn a shirt that had "I demand a trial by combat" written on it 😂

And then there is Sir Hung...damn i love his expression in that last fight in Knights of Badassdom
The best character in the show
