There’s something about this man that just oozes sexy! His charm, wit, intelligence and humour, not to mention his voice which is dreamy. Plus he’s super handsome too.... He’s got a lucky wife ❤️
Abbityabbi I 100000000% agree with you! He is a hot man!
Agreed! He's so gorgeous!
ABSOLUTELY!
Nice hair too.
@diztiinct If you are saying that he has a dwarf-sized cock, guess again...
Without Peter the show wouldn't be as great as it is. TOP CHARACTER
I cried for him wen he was accused
(He is the most famous dwarf in the world)
True agree
Peter has such classic good looks - the strong jaw, the bushy hair, the soulful eyes. I’ve been a fan since Station Agent. He certainly is the star of GOT.
@@nefarious67 True, the one thing that was wrong with his rendition of Tyrion was, that he was supposed to be pretty ugly according to the books and Peter Dinklage is actually quite good looking. He was stellar though, would not trade.
Top top character....yes .. Peter is very very good in his works, he is Biggest like person.... !!! And his voice....!!!???... Peter i LOVE you very much.... Wonderful 🌹🌹😘✌🏼🔥🔥💔💔💥
Can we all just agree that his acting is superb?! His versatility is amazing. That little snip-it they showed was some of the best acting I have seen.
I was thinking the same thing. I was truly impressed.
I allways thought he was gonna sit in the iron throne
@@notname4414 if only it had happened
DAMN, Peter Dinklage is a beast of an actor. Having seen most of his work over the last decade, I honestly think he's one of the top 5 actors today, as far as overall talent. He can do just about any accent to perfection.
Yes. The Frank Oz version was my favorite and Peter shined in it.
Add to his acting talents, he is drop dead gorgeous!!!
D LG yeah he costarred with Brent Spiner in a cbs sci go series that was canceled before season 1 even ended. That was s bummer
Couldn't imagine GOT without Peter Dinklage. His acting always makes it that more interesting. Casting couldn't have done it better with any of the characters.
Don t imagine GOT without Peter,he is the BEST 🌹🌹
Ya I won’t talk shit but he really makes some other main cast members look bad
He could do an Audiobook.
Random Uploads He SHOULD do an audiobook
Great idea! What a voice he has!
Oh I'd listen to that!!!
I'd love to listen to him read a book! Any book...
He has such a lovely voice...
"Were your parents anti-tv or..."
"They are ... smart".
LOL😂 love him
Peter and his siblings read books... and that is why he is quick, witty, and fun.
@Danielle Cantone why not?
Damn, bitch well i love you.
He is an absolute jewel
My parents were both. More kids should grow up with no tv.
He is a fantastic actor, but also a fantastic voice actor. He nailed the accent, and he's just interesting to listen to.
He wasn't given good direction in Destiny.
He is such an incredibly talented actor!! I recently learned that his brother is the principal violinist for Hamilton! (he’s been with the show from the very beginning ... back when it was playing at the Public Theater in New York before they even knew whether it would go to Broadway or not)
Can you imagine how proud their parents must be? Their two kids are a major part of two of the biggest cultural phenomenon of our time!!
It took Stephen Colbert nearly 9 minutes to bring up LOTR. That's a record.
Jeremy Lofthouse what a prick he is...just awful love Peter he's my fav character
His family read books instead of TV. No wonder he's so gifted
People read TV ? Hum... 🤔 (sorry it was an easy one😜)
MagicianFlip69
a mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone.
Blimey, books instead of TV? It's not rocket science.
What about RUclips?
@@Cyiel568 -- I do. I always have closed captioning on.
Gosh he's so charming and handsome. I like him lots.
Would you marry him?
@@johnwesson2759 A lot of women and men have a crush on him. He's talented, good-looking, chill and very charismatic.
That rakish charm--!
I love his deep voice
@John Wesson. Sadly, he's already married.
Peter Dinklage is a really good actor. Very skilled. And good-looking.
"If you think this has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention." - Ramsey Bolton

Everything that I love about Stephen Colbert as an interviewer. And
Just. How. Amazing.
Is Peter Dinklage
Seems more comfortable than usual. I'm glad, he usually looks like he's eyeing the exit at the start of most interviews
Well Colbert is a god 🙃
I think his "eyeing the exit" strategy is just anticipation of the inevitable question about his acting roles and living today as a little person. He's like, oh great, here we go again. I think as a society, we've matured in that we can see him as a man and not someone who obviously had no control over the DNA he was given at birth.
Yeah they really shouldn’t be asking ANY questions about being a little person. Don’t they know Peter is just a normal dude who’s really good at acting?
@Robert Meyman Yes they do, but I think that's one more reason to talk about his stature. Because he is an accomplished, remarkable man both in spite *and* because of it. And come on, the man must have a sense of humor about it, or he wouldn't have taken that part in Infinity War.
He was in Canada first.
Wow he really nailed Herve's accent. It was unreal.
CBS doesn't like it when Stephen talks about LotR? But that's part of his charm! I love it when Stephen geeks out over Lord of the Rings!
Wonder why they don't like it?
Revina Que every guest has an option to stay an extra 20 minutes to talk about LotR.
I love it too. Those are the best parts :D
Every here of a running gag? They're kinda signatures of certain entertainers.
@@sethfinberg348 THAT should be an entire youtube channel.
I’ll never forget GoT’s 1st season. So much dialogue was word for word from the book. It was fantastic, & yes! Dont think anyone else could have playd Tyrion, right from the first moment he was on screen.
Thank you, Sir, for your talent!
I think this was the first time that I saw Stephen get uncomfortable. The tables have truly turned during this interview. I liked it. He needs to invite Peter Dinklage on the show more often. Obviously, now that he knows that he's a LotR's fan. He will.
Conan is the other guy who gets Colbert uncomfortable.
Yeah funny to see how Colbert gets totally blown out of his waters. He even needs to summon LotR in order to save himself and wrap this up. What stupid questions did he have on his blue sheets??
When he threw the blue card off to the side I knew Stephen was done 😂😂😂😂😂
It's really weird because he says everything like he doesn't mean it, and you can't tell whether he's being serious or not.
Peter Dinklage is hands down one of my all time favorite actors. he always "nails" the role.
I wish we saw Peter Dinklage more in different roles. He is such a good actor.
He nailed Herve, Peter is my favorite actor...it seems in any role he takes he owns them. Bravo Mr. Dinklage. Bravo! i loved him in "The Station Agent"....
Peter Dinklage is simply an amazing actor.
Well I LOVE it when you talk about Lord of the Rings.
IKR! Screw CBS!
yeah f*** 'em. Bring out the nerd, talk about D&D more aswell.
D& Dinklage?! Hells yea!
@@debbiedoodiedandi
"Screw CBS", you said....
Why the hell not! They're doing it to Star Trek fans, why shouldn't they get screwed too?!
As a huge LOTR and Silmarillion fan, who randomly picked "Smith of Wootten Major" as my first REAL book to read when I was 6 and I've been obsessed ever since, I vote for a whole hour of Stephen Colbert raving over Tolkien. Maybe a RUclips special. I love watching him fling out facts, and suddenly I'm a giddy child again clapping my hands squealing, "I know that, I know what he's talking about!"
Every role he plays he steals every scene he's in. Such a compelling and talented actor. Love him.
That man has charisma to spare.
+Fenkenstein yes his charisma is maxed out XDD
Peter: "There was something called books..."
Me: “A mind needs books like a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge. That is why I read so much.”
Thats not you tho thats a quote of GRRM
What a stupid question to ask him what that was like for him when people said the plane the plane
You know what? If they redid the movies with Peter Dinklage instead of Dakota Johnson, I would watch ALL of them gleefully.
I’ve never cared to watch them but now I just might so I can imagine Peter as Anastasia (or whatever her name is) 😂
I would like this comment, but I don't want to ruin it
Took Colbert a long time to scale that wall Pete put up. Salute to Colbert for cracking that nut
Well, Colbert kind of triggered the wall when he asked if people would shout "The plane!" at Peter as a child. I don't think he expected that question. Shoot, I didn't expect it, either.
Yeah..... it was not what I would call a good early-conversation question... but I guess it was connected with the film, so uh... awkwardness was going to come up somehow? ^_^;;; Still don't at all blame him for being a bit low-key spiky after that.
I think he was standoffish from the start. I think after he asked that question, he started to slowly open up. Colbert treated him like a person who is honest, who has integrity and who has something to say that we can all learn from. Peter resists being that person often, but Colbert saw inside of him and tried to draw it out of him. See at one point how Peter called it a therapy session? Colbert was treating him with the highest respect
1:17 "when you were growing up?" made me cringe a little bit
kristos why? 😵
I love and respect Peter Dinklage on ALL levels - he is truly an AMAZING Actor!!! I look forward to much more from him!!
In "The Station Agent" he was amazing. The film has been on my personal list of favorite movies for 15 years now. Never saw "Game of Thrones".
Drunk Vegan Gal So jealous! You have that pleasure in front of you!
@@ean5469 Ehhh...I lost interest during the 1st season. The Station Agent is fantastic!

I'm with you! The Station Agent was such a great movie!
R u joking? His brilliant in GoT. Rent it n close the door for at least three weeks. Ha!
OMG, his delivery of Herve's lines are spot on without being too gimmicky.
Man - I know everyone wants to get ANY scoop they can on the last season of GoT, but Dinklage has had to talk about it in every interview he's done for this movie, a project he spent 14 years trying to get made and his friend the director spent 25 years on. It's a shame they only talked about it for a few minutes.
So about the climate change, the swamp, the crippling debt of your society?
Probably only spent a few minutes talking because it's a short film.
Then it's probably not all that great.
@@daveclark8337
Saw what you did there.
They showed a clip though and it looks fantastic. Stephen likes to shoot the shit with guests but he stays mindful of both why the guest is there and the most audience-engaging things he could talk about.
For those who have never seen The Station Agent, you must treat yourself! Peter Dinklage, Patricia Clarkson, and Michelle Williams, are wonderful! And the relationship between Dinklage and Bobby Canavele is fantastic. The film has much more nuance then I anticipated it would have, and every time I watch it, I'm always delighted!

My brain had it as The Stationmaster, but you got it right. It was so good!
Stephen, we deserve a LOTR-only show from you, with the cast and crew (Especially people like PJ, Richard Taylor, John Howe, Alan Lee, Peter Lyon) as guests and it better run until they have run out of things to say. This is your retirement project. Make it happen.
I got to have drinks with John Howe once when I was in University. He did a TV interview in Toronto, and took some of the students from the studio audience out for beers after. He was a lovely man!
Colbert: Happy ending, right? :D
Peter: Sureee!!!!!! ;D
*well, he was warning us...”
Peter dinklage has always had some of best scenes and dialogue in game of thrones. One of my top 5 characters in the show
These two seemed like they were having such genuine fun during this interview, I could watch this all day.
I absolutely love Peter Dinklage!! Fabulous actor and great person!!
They...are smart.
So well said!
Dinklage's Herve Villechaize is pretty good, tbh.
He gets Hervé's utterly distinctive voice so close it's remarkable.
Yes and they made a very attractive man...not so attractive
Omg! Peter was hilarious 😂 I wish we could've seen a much longer interview. Loved his responses, and a great actor.
I have seen him many times here in NYC a block from by my apartment. He is always wearing a hoodie with shades and he seems to always be with his family and his big black dog. He is very hard to miss.Everyone in our neighborhood says he is very quiet, keeps to himself. Family man. I nodded hello to him once,He nodded hello back. And no,I will not tell you where he lives. Not cool.
I’m jealous! There’s a possibility that you might wind up having dinner with his family sometime! You could become friends!
That's cool.
Yeeeah respect HIS PRIVACY 💪💪💪 I love it

He’s just mesmerising to watch on anything he’s in. That voice. Remember him back when he was the main dwarf in The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian along with the equally lovely Warwick Davis

With stephen being the dealer and cut off their supply if they threaten him to not talk about lord of the rings
Too busy imbibing nightshade
Peter Dinklage was by far my favorite actor in GoT
I wanted them to talk about Lord of the Rings. C'mon CBS that would be quality content.
Seriously - just give us a "Between the scenes" like segment of just Steven and Peter nerding out about GoT and LotR for like, 20 minutes to an hour and they'll get their stinkin' emmy.
Riiiight? CBS should know we would totally be down with a online exclusive uncut LOTR geeking fest between those two.

I have a great deal of respect for Peter. To have o we come the stigma surrounding little people and still have the humor and attitude he does is fantastic. Best of luck in whatever your future holds Mr. Dinklage.
I love Peter! Every role I've seen him in is always amazing because of his talent! The Station Agent, for instance. But, on Game of Thrones he's super! One of my favorite characters on the show!!

Peter Dinklage is pound for pound the best actor ever.
Not sure about that, there are other short fantastic actors, but he's definitely among the best by pound.
I think I'm an even bigger fan of his interviews. Great sense of humor and a very sharp wit.
Peter Dinklage is such a talented man!
If you have a chance, watch "My dinner with Herve." It's a great movie. Both Peter and Jamie do an amazing job.
Very good impression! Didn't think he would go all out trying to copy his voice, but he nailed it! Peter is an amazing actor. Probably wasn't happy about taking this role. You could tell people compared him to tattoo as a youth.
Used to think that movie industry's doomed.. great actors are either dying or getting too old. Peter O'Toole gone, Anthony Hopkins, Pacino, M. Freeman not getting any younger. Then we have R. Gosling winning some award...
Peter Dinklage? Restored my faith.. Genuine Talent!
I grew up without a television. We had a TV for movie night, and a couple hours of video games. Mostly we played in our tree house, and read books
That scene alone deserves an Oscar....what a performance
Peter plays the best “bad guy”. Truly talented. I’d like to see him as the next villain in James Bond. He was great in “I care a lot “.
So basically he is as well educated as the character the plays. Have your children read books and put down the "screens" parents.
then should we put down "laptop screens" too? such as youtube...
It depends on how you use it. The good parents will use it for good - Kindle, Audible, language learning...
