  • In this video I load a ton of snow to show you just how well it holds up. Many people use this for hunting, horse/animal packing, ATV's, and motorcycles. My father-in-law uses this one for hunting and has been hit with snow, wind, rain, you name it. It holds up extremely well - better than any other Kodiak Canvas tent. There's simply less surface area for the elements to destroy and yet still has the thick canvas and strong steel poles that the larger tents feature. Just purchased this tent from Competitive Edge and it's so nice, the quality of the canvas feels nice and well made, the zippers are amazing, the floor is thick and feels very durable and high quality, overall it's an amazing tent, I'm very very happy with my purchase, and it's already my favorite tent I've ever owned, it's great thanks you guys at competitive edge for the quick shipping and friendly customer service, I will probably even be purchasing the 6person Flexbow next time I have some extra cash, if it's as quality as the 2 person I have no second thoughts about purchasing the bigger more expensive tents from Kodiak Canvas, it's really an excellent tent 👍

I have the 10x14 bowflex and have never had an issue with the quality of the tent. Spot on

The crazy thing is that this tent according to the Kodiak Canvas website isn't designed to hold the weight of snow loads, yet it probably holds snow better than most tents on the market!

I have this tent and can say it's the best one I have ever owned. We just camped in 20 degree weather last weekend and it was nice and toasty. We have kodiak canvas sleeping bags too so they helped.

Man I'm wanting to get one of those for the times I head out on my own and don't want to setup my 10x14... Will have to wait to replenish the ol' bank account before I can do that though but its def on my list of things to get!

I know this is an old video but I like how he only did the 4 corners there are alot of people out there that would only do the 4 corners out of time 😂 very impressive

I’m thinking about getting this and building a platform to make a roof top tent. It’s way cheaper than the roof top tents and I don’t hear anything bad about this tent. Thanks for sharing!!

It needs to be staked down in order for the poles to work, but if you find a solution for that it would be a cool idea.

I'm on the waiting list to get this tent, unfortunately Competitive Edge is currently out of stock... Always been a fan of the A-frame design, and this is like the better version!

If u were to put a tarp. Like a cheap camo tarp from harbor freight on. That lodge tent or any of the tents. Any little breeze or no breeze at all. The snow slides right off. No problem. I do that when hunting in the mountains.

Now that is genius! Seriously I'm going to have to try that on the lodge tent since the roof pitch is pretty steep. Have you tried that on the cabin style Kodiak tents or the Flex Bow? The flex bow roof seems maybe too flat.

Do you have any tips for keeping it warm? Do you need a heater for it?

The 2 person has so much less volume that it doesn't seem as cold as the larger tent - especially with all the snow it acts like insulation (make sure you have some ventilation)
