I just got one but I haven’t set it up yet and I bought it at competitive edge $350.00. I also have a Ridgid fan and I am going to put indoor/outdoor carpet inside. I am also going to set my DD tarp over the tent for shade and for when it raining I can keep all windows open for ventilation I live in Florida. I have used for the last 10 years my MSR haba haba tent all mesh body and rain cover. I bought the Kodiak 2 person tent because I camp with my dog and I am going to use a cot and I will have lots of room. The MSR 2 person tent was so cramped with me and the dog and my backpack. Great review thanks. And anyone that buys this product when you first get it they say to set up and take a hose wet it down good and let dry well, it’s to get the seams and it shrinks the Canvas.

I discovered this tent a couple of days ago and I'm very interested in it, so thanks for the review. I'm a solo camper so this will be great for me. The specs on the tent say it's 48" high but I assume that probably refers to the taller sides where the side bars go, which means the center of the tent inside is probably 3"-4" lower, but I don't know. I want to sleep on a cot with 17" legs, but I assume that would leave me with about 2' headspace when I'm laying down. I would also like to bring a low profile chair inside to be able to sit inside to get away from the bugs. Wish I could see one set up inside a retail store to scope it out.

Be good for moto camping..u can definitely put chairs inside and sit comfortably, dang bud its 95 degrees, you gott open all those windows slightly let out that humidity, also i would immediately cut off warning tags lol, every time I see one in a tent i just want to cut it or rip it off ,please get it out of there lol!!

Only thing I don’t like so far I see is it don’t have a bathtub floor.

Could a six foot Coleman cot fit in it? If so with how much head space?
Get the ozark cot from Walmart, it sets low and fits well in it, I’m 6’2 260 pounds and it holds me fine
Did you wet the tent down before the rain storm?
No I didnt. It does say to season it though. I camped in this tent more even in the rain. Just remember to let it dry out completely or it will mildew. But I also got the truck tent also both are great tents and will last a long time. There worth the money in the long run.
