I like videos like this I’m still an hvac student and one thing I’m going to get better at is diagnosing and finding the actual problems so watching these types of videos is very educational to me thank you
@Charles You gonna get it! And don't overthink it and don't always think it is the biggest problem cuz sometimes when diagnosing a unit and troubleshooting you'll think it is a big huge problem when it sometimes small like a leak in the suction or discharge line, or a bad capacitor, or a blown fuse, so always have in mind that it isn't always a grand big scheme of problems cuz most times you'll get called out to a service call and it could be a small issue like that. But keep up the good work and Stay focused and always willing to learn and push your knowledge and go above and beyond; THERE'S NO LIMITATIONS!💯💯👌🏽💪🏽AND I SAY THIS CUZ I AM A CERTIFIED HVAC TECHNICIAN AND GOT MY EPA AND LOVE THIS TRADE AND WORKING WITH MY HANDS SO IT IS REWARDING HARD WORK, AND GREAT MONEY YOU CAN MAKE AND TEACHES YOU DISCIPLINE, PATIENCE AND TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR TRADE AND WORK CUZ US BLUE COLLAR WORKING MEN ARE THE BACKBONE OF SOCIETY AND KEEP THE WORLD GOING SO YOU PICKED A GOOD TRADE CAREER YOUNG MAN! MUCH MORE SUCCESS TO YOU!💪🏽👌🏽
I'm learning to estimate commercial HVAC. Was hired at a great MC with little experience but they're giving me the room to learn/grow. Watching Quality HVACR's content is helping the HVAC concepts start to form in my head. Thanks a ton & keep the videos coming!
I live on the NC coast, had humidity and moisture issues in crawlspace. Didn't spend the extra money to encapsulate, I done what was recommended by a crawlspace company. I removed all existing batt insulation and clear plastic vapor barrier. I had them put down 10mil vapor barrier, they turned it up the foundation walls and piers 18", all vapor barrier has 12" overlapped sealed joints. Then placed 2" foam blocks in all crawlspace vents and foamed in place. I installed a Santa Fe dehumidifier, what a difference! I done that 18 months ago, wish I had done it 5 years ago, a month after I purchased the house! Cost a few thousand, but well worth it.
I had did the same I put my parts keeper across from the door and regret it because you always have to reach in or jump in and out. I now have it to the left of the door so its reachable from outside the van. looks good ranger has great product I went with them for both of my vans
instead of wire nutting small cables or wires like thermostat wire try Telephone Wire Splice Connectors they make them in 2 3 or more and they contain a silicone grease to prevent water getting in. they just get crimped on with a pair of pliers. no wire stripping needed. they make them to splice 19 to 26 awg wire.
Be sure to point the openings up and wrap. With electric tape to keep water out.....the sun will melt all the dielectric grease out if pointed down !!!
Thx for the ride along , I needed to get out of the house for a while 😂 And what a great shot of that Corvette ... Congrats on the new shop ... Don't forget us little people 😂🤣

No need for the BLUON APP! The sticker on the compressor tells you what size capacitor it needs! But this guy is not going to check that while he is there! He will DIVE INTO THAT WHEN HE COMES BACK! Why not just check it now and come back with the right capacitor when he comes back with the blower parts! WASTED TIME IS WASTED MONEY! You are on the roof with the unit, just pop the fan grill and get the needed info while you are there! "No sense in doing that today while he is there, HE SAYS!" OH YEH! That would chew into his coffee time!
Great job sir I really appreciate you taking us along with you when you can.. I'm one of many follower to say congratulation on your success and growth. Keep doing what you do sir. Remember you have a youtube family as well and saying that, don't hesitate to reach out and let us know whatever you need help with.. God bless you ...
I've had a Heil unit blower wheel fail like that and break the mounting. Be careful when ordering parts because the track that mounts the blower assembly to the deck is sold separately from the blower housing!
Never install a condensate drain without two 1 inch unions with 3/4 inch bushings. One union before the trap and one on the outlet of trap, or they won't be serviced by owner ever, which is probably ok for technicians. Use the bushings to keep the inside flow the same as pipe diameter. Seen plenty of times where the fan assembly has a bad hub from insulation falling down and getting inside and throwing it out of balance causing premature damage. Always install a set of straps to hold insulation in place, don't know why the manufacturer doesn't do this for horizontal positions. It didn't look like the cabinet had any insulation left in it, probably removed over the years because of that issue. Good job!
it would be good to see a full video of installation rather than in parts, like there are couple of previous videos missing the next part from long time. Thats just my feedback.
I hope your put a fire sprinkler system in that new shop your building. Protect your livelihood. Won’t cost but a couple grand on a building that size. Good investment.
Hey I’ve been watching your channel for some time now, good content! I’m an HVAC contractor in MD & VA.. Just curious if you could give me some advice or insight on obtaining personal clientele? I’m in year 2 with my company.. as of now I deal with a lot of warranty companies.. When you started gaining more personal clientele was it just by word of mouth or marketing etc?
You missed the opportunity to sell the Rheem customer a SS2 float switch which would have shut the system down and not allowed all that water to leak on the floor next time.
good job. that van is too clean. you didn't put your vacuum back and it spilled out onto the van floor causing a spot that stays there forever. I know what it is, you're not busy enough. Get that van wrap liked that video
Zach you're a young guy with a family just asking if you have taken steps (life insurance, disability insurance, etc) should something happen to you so your family will be taken care of?
I guess he was referring to the roof top unit having all those problems and then he goes to check out the furnace and it has major problems. I wouldn't of expected that either.
It is the Thermostat wires ....I agree better to be one solid run ....but I see he does not want to uncover were all that goes into the roof ...possible roof leaks and liability issues
not gonna stay longer on a saturday??? charge customer more... give them the option...youre there wtf if there willing to pay more you make more money! some people will for not having to be inconvienced at another time...you can thank me later...
Anyone who is reading this, Don't give up, trust yourself you can do it.
I know I can do it, just sucks when everything goes against you…… I’m looking at you Trane 😑
Needed to hear this I got my first side tomorrow and it’s a pretty big one but I know I got it
Thanks

Your setup for all hvac is my fav.

So I’ve been in the hvac field for about 5 months but now I’m finally gonna go to school for it !

Great vid but quick question, why don’t you replace condensate traps with EZ traps?
Great Job! You always have a piece of cloth to clean up. Thumb Upz! A good housekeeping is equally important.
I wish I could stand up in my van! Nice setup!
Cool can’t wait to see the finished product.
Congrats on the new shop !!! The business is doing well :-)
This dude has CRAZY MONEY 💰 🤑 💸!!!
He promotes lots of other HVACR related suppliers and manufacturers; he doesn't need too much AC work!
Looking forward to the video of you under that house in a tyvek suit doing some encapsulating!
Hello,
What software do you use to keep track of your refrigerants

CONGRATS BROTHER. Love the new truck and shop project!
how do you wear shorts when doing hvac? always feel like something will cut me often or mosquito bite
That blower was hilarious 😂..
What’s the spray your spraying in the drain?
Congrats on the shop, bmx is awesome
Carrier stx-- models are notorious for blower wheel breaking off and taking out the motor and housing with it.
Love this channel Keep going
Can you put at the end how much you made each call you go too
What headlamp do you use. Do a video on headlamps
You must spend a lot of time with the camera placements. Like when you first got on the roof.
Nicely done.
I seen your videos of your van organized where do you keep motors or you don’t Carrie motors with you?
Pretty sure he said he doesn’t carry alot of parts he diagnoses problem then comes back with right part
it would be good to see a full video of installation rather than in parts, like there are couple of previous videos missing the next part from long time. Thats just my feedback.
I believe most hvac channels do that to avoid people doing DIY lol
@@66Ack makes sense
@@dhaval32mistry That's called "Dog in the manger".
Been there. I would have pulled the number off the compressor though. That’s the only thing different that I would do.
Which keen shoes are those, I can't find them on the site?
You are a definitely a QUALITY man.
How do you determine your prices
I hope your put a fire sprinkler system in that new shop your building. Protect your livelihood. Won’t cost but a couple grand on a building that size. Good investment.
Nice green grass man!! The shop is gunna be dope congratulations on the profitable business pal!
Where can I get one of your shirts?
Great, thanks.
What did you spray in the condensation line and pump?
Viper drain cleaner
All the comments on these videos on how he should be doing his job/running his company.🙄. It's obviously working for him.
Finally made it in a video!
Just ordered some joblink probes with the psychrometers. Thanks for the discount code, tired of these mantooth bluetooth garbage.

How much you charge for cleaning the drain line? I'd like to know.🙂

Very Nice Video Boss
When I get a trap that bad, I always replace it.

Chattanooga!
Wow good luck to you
More content like this! 👍

There's always a next time!
It probably won’t clog for at least 10 years now, longer than the unit will be in service waste of money.
good job. that van is too clean.
you didn't put your vacuum back and it spilled out onto the van floor causing a spot that stays there forever.
I know what it is, you're not busy enough.
Get that van wrap
liked that video
Please don't take rigid duct and replace with flexible duct!!!!!
Well if the fuse was popped it was probably due to that low voltage wire going to the condensing unit.
or that board flopping around and shorted to the housing when the mount broke.
Like always great job
Thats a commercial, aka light commercial setting.
Zach you're a young guy with a family just asking if you have taken steps (life insurance, disability insurance, etc) should something happen to you so your family will be taken care of?
The background noise is like walking dead
Your tech vids are my favorite, dont do sheetmetal,,, 😂😂😂 jk, but love your 3d brain boss.
You scared the poor thing!!!!
nice
What the HEIL LOL
Bad caps!!!
What weren’t you expecting?
Was wondering same
The barista put whole milk in his latte
He wasn't expecting all these views with a clickbait title
I guess he was referring to the roof top unit having all those problems and then he goes to check out the furnace and it has major problems. I wouldn't of expected that either.
Pull a new condenser wire why wire nutt it…
It is the Thermostat wires ....I agree better to be one solid run ....but I see he does not want to uncover were all that goes into the roof ...possible roof leaks and liability issues
