As we finish up a Gree ductless heat pump mini split install, the customer says they have another hvac unit not cooling that serves a classroom. In this video I have an update on my Nissan NV2500 van and I got a new Veto ProPac toolbag along with showing how I fixed the Carrier gas split system. Hope you enjoy the video!!

Your van storage reminds me a lot of how our tool room at work (aircraft mx) organizes tooling.. It is incredibly useful and eliminates 99% of all the questions of what something is and where it should go. Nice work.
Get a good security system for that van!
Dude you are so dialed in.. all the tools to make your jobs better and easier.. keep up the work.. inspirational!
Man I'm peanut butter and jealous of that set up. 👊🏻
It seems like your true passion is organizing and creating efficient processes. Keep up the good work.
Well organized as usual ! The right tools make the job go so much easier . You a have a lot money invested in all those pack outs …. Awesome !!!!
I can see the apprentice getting that van when he's capable and Zack will be back in the diesel.
I always get service calls that have issues like all dampers closed or people don’t know how to work a thermostat 😑
Your soo organized, love it
Nice clean install.
Love your videos man, just started RSI in Chandler AZ to become a tech & I am also an apprentice at the same time. You have set a standard of a tech van all the way to finishing the job.
Phoenix.
Welcome brother. I'm out here with Goettl! Installer
I went to RSI too. Worked at George Brazil/ Patrick Riley for like 3 years. Now I live in Kentucky and got my HVAC masters license
Van setup looking better & better ... Like that open top Veto Pro Pac ... Thx ...
Nice clean proper install
Good job Zack, I think the van looks great.
Sweet install great job
You did an outstanding job with the van. Clean and functional. Can't wait to see the rest of the build out. Microwave oven?
Microwave nd a mr.coffee, was a must have about 8 years ago when I was installing out of a box truck.
Very impressive set up in this van !!
And his ductless installation was tits!
When I got my first bending tool ,the old guys made jokes. Now I'm glad to see it's a standard for good mechanics. Oh nd the reversible action wasn't yet an option.
Keep on rocking!!
Installer here i love my packout always adding to it
love the setup.
Looking good so far 👌 Zack
Very nice setup...hope you have a good alarm system with video capability
Great video lots of different stuff going on 👍🏼
Admiring your van and shelf set up really organized at 100% how it always needs to be
Oh man... that organized van is amazing..
This is an excellent video on organizing your set up. Thank God you don’t need to do boilers and oil heat. My setup gets crazy difficult due to the mixed bag of equipment in Maine that we have. I realize wish I could limit what I do down to gas heat, warm air, heat pumps and AC. Then I could have a straight forward set up like this! But as of now, it’s so hard to make a set up for things as I’d have to have so many boxes and extra items. Oh what a minute I do, and I’m running of of space and can barely walk through the center of my medium roof medium length ford transit 🤪
(Really wish) not realize
Seeing that van and tool set up made me just quit my hvac career.. If we ain’t doing it like what I just seen in this van .. we need to go and do something else. Hahahaha.
Nice set up!
Just inspired me to clean the truck out on the spot. Lol thanks bro...
Just started my new service job so I'm definitely copying everything in your bag!! Haha Great content keep it up! ❤️
You better have plenty of dough; it's very costly!
Just add a tool to every po your work gives you you'll have everything in no time
@@bobboscarato1313 very true but I have a lot of the essentials so it shouldn't be too much... Hopefully lol
Your van is amazing 😊👍🌹
I also like the van layout.
Clean set up, I'm doing something similar 👍🏽
Your tools top💯
0.9 superheat????
Nice tools sir
Nice set up, can you do a budget setup stuff you can make like packout style
You should donate the old tool bags fr those who are just starting out...
Surprised the coil wasn’t leaking. I’ve replaced a ton of those.
I have that same van and love it. What kind of flooring is that? I don’t care for my flooring in the cargo area
i think you might need to start riding passenger side to distribute the weight lol looking clean nice work.
Hello and thumbs UP!!
So how did the small handle work for you? Where did you get it?
Just got called on that outside unit has to be 3inchs from ground level 😳 😅 😐 Goodluck looks good
Depends where you live. Florida we need a min 3" curb
Does your maintenance kit, the two packouts latch together?
You should put foam in the middle of your "mini split kit" and trace out spots for that madness. Same goes for you soon to be "duct kit", sounds like you're playing yatzee with a coffee tin full of bolts.
That unit seems overcharged super heat was low and subcool was high. What do you guys think.
Nice setup. I keep one side of my van wide open also and store vinyl tubing and things like that on the right side
Sounds like a custodian swapped out the stat and didn’t know how to operate it. Someone closed the butterflys and forgot to reopen them.
Can you post a link for the malco bit?
Lol, the messier the van the better the tech
Hahaha facts 🤣
Dam right lol
That’s a lie. I’m a beast but if my vans messy I don’t even wanna work out ofnit
@@Mapdotgolf no time to organize got to make it to the next call
@@latenitehvac868 it’s called after hours weekends. Plenty of time
Hi I would like to know what is the app that your using to check system charge thx
lol that definitely doesn't look like a truck that does much actual 'work' if you know what I mean.
You got that right . My van is an organized MESS!
You better hope that truck never gets stolen
Noti gang 💯❤️
I'm going to try and be as constructive as possible. I don't know what your intention is with this channel but your videos don't provide much learning. Personally I find they seem to come off as a tool/truck show off and an excuse to flash a sponsorship under the guise of a learning experience/diagnosis channel.
For example this is a 20 min video with a clickbate title, 15 min of van tour and admiring your own work (which does look clean, not hating), then 5 min of a service call where you hook up some probes and show a 0.9 superheat (!!!???) then say it's running perfectly only to blame the thermostat schedule... You point out that you need to know the metering device in order to check charge, then you don't check the charge according to manufacturer's specs. Man, teach us the details and the nitty gritty, your tricks and tips. Look at the big picture and and take your time.
Or... If you want to post a truck update do that. Just drop the clickbate.
For now I'll stick with HVACR Videos and some others where I learn something new every video.
Regardless of all the above I wish you luck with your company and you tube channel.
Can you please how to get a job video makeing in hvac feild
Nice van, looks like $3k in totes, containers, an tool bags, shheeeeeesh
I think that was a Polypropylene furnace. It’s obviously an older Carrier 90% but if it is the poly version instead of the newer style (they started the newer style around 2012-2014ish) then I would for sure pull that blower motor and check the secondary heat exchanger. The Carrier 90% Polypropylene furnace is most likely the most dangerous furnace that was ever made and definitely has no business being in a school.
yo aint no way #1
Shouldn't you add some refrigerant since the Superheat was 0.9 & Subcooling was 18.7. Also, wouldn't you add refrigerant to raise the Superheat and lower the Subcooling? I get what you're saying about the dampers being closed because airflow is the most overlooked aspect of this trade. I ask this sincerely, because there is so much of this trade I need to learn.
To charge a piston properly you need to know the wet bulb temp inside, dry bulb temp of the condenser. Use a target superheat chart or an app now to calculate the proper super heat required. Also you’d charge the unit to raise subcooling, a lot of subcooling means refrigerant is backed up in the condenser, no subcooling means the condenser is starved and you’re basically pushing hot gas. No superheat means the evaporator is flooded with liquid refrigerant.
Nope, a low charge scenario would be high superheat and low subcooling. Never add charge to a system with 0 or very low superheat.
Does your company supply you with tools
Oh man do you really like gree? I’ve had nothing but problems with them…
what do you have service car? nissa what?
I guess anyone needing a motor is SHIT OUTA LUCK! Nice set up but it really does not seem to be service friendly when it comes to parts and repairs!
He's just showing you how to make money sponsoring different suppliers! He has a nice and useful van.
👍
👍👍
Get some damn dirt, grease, blood on your tools!!!! -.-
Those tstat suck
ZACH why do you use so many different brands? You don't seem to be loyal to anyone.
He makes money sponsoring different manufacturers and suppliers! Nothing to do with loyalty! Money money and more money!
Who makes that battery powered flaring tool
