Late af, but actually that isn’t his story. The Keeper was born from a combination of Ruvik's memory of the safe where he kept his research, and his unbridled rage. The safe head represents the atrocities of Ruvik's past that he's trying to keep hidden, literally crushing anyone who comes near. (I got this from the wiki of the game, but it actually says it in the game when you see the models of the characters). And in one of the DLCs, The Executioner, he is a dude trying to save his daughter from STEM, so he is also connected to the machine, and he must kill the other test subjects and then literally kill himself (He actually kills The Keeper, not himself. The dude survives) Sorry for my bad English, and I hope this helps. You could look for more info in google if you want to know more ^^

Joel Cooper The Keeper is easy to defeat, as you said, if you have explosive bolts and the shotgun, but the problem with him is that the fucker keeps appearing. I think that in the whole game he has like 30 spawn points. I don’t remember where I read that tho. (Sorry for bad English)
Evil Within 1 had much better atmosphere, more intriguing story and more memorable bosses than the sequel. And it didn't force us to cry over cringe family drama. I miss this game so much.
@@nemo320 Yeah Mikami's absence was definitely one of the reasons why Evil Within 2 sucked so much, not only the story was bad but also the gameplay became less challenging and uninteresting compared to the first one. And I think the second game was not even well-written as a love story; Sebastian's emotions towards Lily felt very artificial (basically he was just calling her name again and again), and he abandons his wife after all lol I don't think that terrible story is not really Johanas's fault though. The story in Kidman DLCs was good.
Red mist was such a weird boss, we’ve had so many hard encounters before then, especially at the doors Joseph had to disarm where you have to kill like 20 zombies, but then for the red mist where you’re way stronger and better prepared you just kill 5 zombies and it’s over
I just beat this game. I had only ever played narrative based games before like "The Quarry" and "The Dark Anthology" games. I have only been playing Xbox for 6 months. This was a really hard game. I died 354 times but I kept pushing through because I'm so enamored with it. It really bit and dug in to my brain. Horror is my most favorite thing. I think that helped a lot in the way that I was never scared. I knew if I have enough bullets and upgrades I was going to win. I stated it 8 day ago and it took 35 hours to beat. What I didn't know about TEW was that hardly anyone who plays it actually finishes it. It gave me a great since of accomplishment. TEW2 is not as good.
Shinji: hey, you know how all of you hated the keeper? Well you’ll have to fight him again. Audience: goddamn it. Shinji: oh, did I forget to mention you’ll have to fight him a third time. Audience: wait, what? Shinji: oh, did I say him? Silly me, I meant them. Audience: them? Shinji: yes, 2 of them. Audience: fuck...

@@KL-fz1bh Laura's first encounter seems easy, but her final encounter is just ridiculous
i can’t play this game....sooo scared..u r amazing..really...omg !!
The best survival horror game I’ve ever played. Both gameplay and story were way better than the 2nd one.
Evil Within 1 had much better atmosphere, more intriguing story and more memorable bosses than the sequel. And it didn't force us to cry over cringe family drama. I miss this game so much.
that happens when you change the japanese OG shinji mikami director for an american director.Became love story crap
@@nemo320 Yeah Mikami's absence was definitely one of the reasons why Evil Within 2 sucked so much, not only the story was bad but also the gameplay became less challenging and uninteresting compared to the first one.
And I think the second game was not even well-written as a love story; Sebastian's emotions towards Lily felt very artificial
(basically he was just calling her name again and again), and he abandons his wife after all lol
I don't think that terrible story is not really Johanas's fault though. The story in Kidman DLCs was good.
I couldn’t get into the second one but loveee the first game
Who else can agree that filling up the bottle with green gel was always satisfying
Red mist was such a weird boss, we’ve had so many hard encounters before then, especially at the doors Joseph had to disarm where you have to kill like 20 zombies, but then for the red mist where you’re way stronger and better prepared you just kill 5 zombies and it’s over
Exactly what I was thinking. It's such a weirdly short and easy boss. Even the sadist is significantly harder, and that's the first boss in the game
I love the first game far more than the sequel!!
I got Evil Within at a decent steam sale price. I have no history of playing resident evil or silent hill games. I’d had a long hiatus from gaming too - and I really loved this game
One of the most difficult and scariest game.
So much superior to its sequel. Few can create tension in a game better than Mikami.
Silent Hill & Resident Evil influences are REAL🔥👏
11:40 bro could break a metal chain with 1 punch
In Silent Hill, we got Pyramid Head.
Here, we got Cubical Head.
Crazy how the devs of this game world go on to make a bright and colorful rhythm based sci fi platformer that feels like a top tier Netflix show in a game format.
Which one was the scariest boss in the evil within. I though that Laura is freaking creepy
Lockdown The bounty hunter the keeper
THX11003 how about "FUCKING HORRIFYING!!" does that sound better?
THX11003 more like terrifying
Same
Nightmare Inducing.
God Damn Horrifying.
What The Actual Fuck.
Take ya’ pick.
Amalgam Alpha was def my most stressful experience in this game bc I wasnt aware that bosses can be frozen, I thought they were CC-immune 😭 amazing gameplay btw!
The safe head guy is one of my all time favourite boss fights
It was mental might have to blow the dust off and give the game another go.
He’s called the Keeper and he’s honestly my favorite enemy design
Thank you for the awesome video..
The spider chick that giant squid n the boxhead were the creepiest monsters in this game
Your Not Wrong😈
This and Cry of Fear are my favorite survival horror games.
If that was in real life you have nothing to do or else die
Well it's real in afterlife- in hell.. No way of getting out of there
Bruh the evil within one had to have some of thee most disturbing bosses to face, they were WAY better then the evil within 2
This game looks awesome and kinda hardcore to play - nice 😊
Idk who this Caleo is but his gameplay is literal heart and soul. Plays like he’s Top G
The evil within part 1 is A classic horror game
God I love the way Sentinel moves
I’m still can’t believe i beat this game on Akuma(hardest) difficultly...wow 5 years ago...that’s crazy...i was 32, time flies ...
u still play games?
@@murtazarizvi368 people can play games at older age wtf
@@serenseitcean2051 i think u misunderstood the conversation going on. Eduardo Alessi

@@murtazarizvi368 ups sorry
@@serenseitcean2051 ya. i was asking coz eventually later i wouldnt get time to play games. it feels weird thinking about it
To be honest, the keeper is scary, and laura is a walk in the park, but that one octupus boss I just could not beat and quit for 4 years
8:55 I haven't played this game but I fckng knew it this will happen the moment that i saw him alive he will need his god damn glasses why I knew? Cause I also have a bad eyesight the feels man. imagine if you're on this situation in real life and you lost your glasses.
The Evil Within is the goat.
I am glad to say that this is the only horror game I was able to finish. I never finished re1 and re2 on PlayStation 1 and re7 on Xbox one.
What about RE4 ? christ you need to revisit that if not.
I bought this game a few days ago for $2.99! I just beat the Keeper like an hour ago. This game is so awesome so far.
