@@rebeccarichardson8669 How is that "ahead of his time" when there were countless dancers in wrestling long long before him? It's always so cringe when clueless marks puke the "ahead of its time" crap because their wrestling "knowledge" is limited to like 10 years of the 2 mainstream promotions and nothing else.

I never remembered La Parka for his dancing. For me it was about the Cruiser Weight and Lucha wrestlers fast 💨 wrestling pace. Years ago wrestling was much slower to watch and full of rest holds. The Lucha talents and cruiser weights were the first in mainstream America to wrestle at an incredibly fast pace.

IMO, the first ten inductees for a WCW Hall of Fame should be: Tony Schavonie, Ted Turner, Ric Flair, Lex Luger, Brian Pillman, Bobby Eaton, DDP, Eric Bischoff, Arn Anderson and Sting!

Gordon Solie was in the original WCW Hall of Fame, Eric. In my opinion, the original WCW Hall of Fame shouldn't be ignored and those already inducted should be honored. I would treat this Hall of Fame as though WCW was continuing to induct people instead of a fresh start.

  • @codyzempel5506

Im just glad Sting made it into the Hall of Fame..it was so overdue and so well deserved, it just is tainted in my eyes because it took him having to take a leap of faith and finally trusting Vince and Paul and what did they do... Exactly what Sting expected them to do and knew they would do even after ALL THOSE YEARS they couldn't help themselves. Sting is an icon a legend and the GOAT, he is the Franchise so in this "WCW Hall of Fame" Sting is #1 theres no question who carried the WCW banner... This is STING!!!

    • @RagingUtai

The only thing that felt abit odd was that he was inducted into the "wwe" hall of fame. Considering he was the wcw franchise , legend. I wondered if it should have accepted it. I would have liked it if they gave more respect to the wcw brand.

This is ridiculous. The GOAT of what? Cowardice? Sting never had the balls to go to the big leagues. He was always happy being a big fish in a little pond(WCW, TNA, AEW). You want more proof how overrated he was? The most successful run of his entire career was when he debuted the "Crow" Sting and didn't talk or wrestle for an entire year. That's pretty sad

Tony before Jim. There really is no argument. I prefer Jim, but it would be like inducting HHH in the WCW hall of fame. He was there....but he's always going to be associated with WWE first.

Damn, as bad as I hate to agree with Conrad but, I agree Tony Shavonie should be in WCW hall of Fame before Jim Ross. Luger from 88 to 91 was awesome. That being said please Eric "FIre CONRAD"!
