I never remembered La Parka for his dancing. For me it was about the Cruiser Weight and Lucha wrestlers fast 💨 wrestling pace. Years ago wrestling was much slower to watch and full of rest holds. The Lucha talents and cruiser weights were the first in mainstream America to wrestle at an incredibly fast pace.
IMO, the first ten inductees for a WCW Hall of Fame should be: Tony Schavonie, Ted Turner, Ric Flair, Lex Luger, Brian Pillman, Bobby Eaton, DDP, Eric Bischoff, Arn Anderson and Sting!
Gordon Solie was in the original WCW Hall of Fame, Eric. In my opinion, the original WCW Hall of Fame shouldn't be ignored and those already inducted should be honored. I would treat this Hall of Fame as though WCW was continuing to induct people instead of a fresh start.
Im just glad Sting made it into the Hall of Fame..it was so overdue and so well deserved, it just is tainted in my eyes because it took him having to take a leap of faith and finally trusting Vince and Paul and what did they do... I think Eric needs to factor-in not just where someone started but where someone got "made", meaning the entity that he's _frequently_ associated with. JR did a brief run in WCW, but he became a WWE made-man because of how he was used. The same goes for Tony Schiavone, he's a WCW made-man despite being in other promotions for a while

There was a real WCW Hall of Fame when WCW existed. 1993, 1994 and 1995 after that it stopped. My first inductees of had returned would be Sting, Steiners, Ric Flair, Tony Shivanone, Dusty Rhodes and Harley Race. The second class would be Lex Luger, The NWO, Harlem Heat, Bobby Eaton, Paul Heyman and Arn Anderson.
