I never remembered La Parka for his dancing. For me it was about the Cruiser Weight and Lucha wrestlers fast 💨 wrestling pace. Years ago wrestling was much slower to watch and full of rest holds. The Lucha talents and cruiser weights were the first in mainstream America to wrestle at an incredibly fast pace.

I think Eric needs to factor-in not just where someone started but where someone got "made", meaning the entity that he's _frequently_ associated with. JR did a brief run in WCW, but he became a WWE made-man because of how he was used. The same goes for Tony Schiavone, he's a WCW made-man despite being in other promotions for a while

My first inductees of had returned would be Sting, Steiners, Ric Flair, Tony Shivanone, Dusty Rhodes and Harley Race. Eric said the unexpected and unpredictability became the brand for Nitro. I absolutely agree... Until it wasn't. At some point, every fan realized how Nitro would end: wrestlers running into the ring to ruin the match. It baffles me that he continued this formula and never switched it up.

I am WCW 100% . always have been. Sting is my all time favorite wrestler and the only other person that screams WCW to me, is Tony Schiavone! Hard to think WCW without thinking Schiavone.

A lot of no brainers here. Obviously everyone you mentioned would go in. Guys like Buff, Juvi, Paul Orndorff or The Nasty Boys would’ve made for a better discussion.

If we're talking announcers its tony and the living legend lary (I'm not attempting to spell his last name) with the hand gesture those two are in my core memories and the first two announcers i remember. But thats just me

Tony before Jim. There really is no argument. I prefer Jim, but it would be like inducting HHH in the WCW hall of fame. He was there....but he's always going to be associated with WWE first.

Eric said the unexpected and unpredictability became the brand for Nitro. I absolutely agree... Until it wasn't. At some point, every fan realized how Nitro would end: wrestlers running into the ring to ruin the match. It baffles me that he continued this formula and never switched it up.
