Buy a great set of bunk beds that also turn into single beds. That way you would have both.
For me, personally, having a front door with glass, drives me crazy. I always feel like people would be trying to look in!! I'd definitely want more privacy :)
Bunk beds sounded like a great idea, until I had to change the sheets on the top bunk regularly. Ugh. Hated them. 😜 You’ve done so much! Looks so good.
I got rid of our bunks for that very same reason but I discovered an easy way to change the sheets after we got rid of them
I agree ! Hated to put the sheets on the bunk bed. Got rid of it and got a double bed. Then you could have arguing over who gets the top bunk.
Funny! I plan on getting another set and I am under 5 feet. Kinda seems like I like driving up a tree. We went with bunk beds because it allows us to use the vertical space and not feel cramped having two twins. We will probably get a pair of twins in 2-3 years. The IKEA Kura bed seems like it can last forever! xD

Love the new table!!! and the basement is looking great such an awesome idea to have the toy room down there I think it will be less work and stress for you, just wish you would have filmed cleaning the basement I love your cleaning videos. your house is beautiful.
Crystal, it’s so nice to see the whole house tour. I almost forgot some of the projects you did. This was a nice reminder of all the hard work you have put in over the past months. Love the round table. You weren’t kidding!!! It really makes a difference. The wood finish is perfect. You don’t want all the woods the exact same. It will just make the room feel like it has no dimension. So, you did good!!! It was a perfect video for a Friday! Have a great weekend.

I don't have twins but I did get my daughter a metal frame twin bed and we love it! I love the look of it, it's very sturdy and affordable. Two black metal frames would look so cute in their room - very farmhouse but also practical!

Happy to see Macie’s room with kid clutter. My daughter’s room was always a disaster. She’s now a grownup mom of 3 boys and she keeps a tidy house! ❤️

buy a bunk bed and keep them separate as 2 beds then when they get old enough you can stack them! much cheaper in the long run.

Very homey! We don’t have a LOL house but we have a Barbie Dream House, Frozen Castle and KidKraft Doll House so I feel your pain. She requested the LOL House for her 5th birthday, sorry kiddo it’s not happening. 😂

My twins are now 23 but when they were much younger i used twin beds my boys were very active and i just knew they would definitely be climbing on the bunk beds just what worked for us....

I am actually in the process of redecorating/painting. I have been wanting modern farmhouse decor for quite some time now but wasn’t sure how to bring it all together. Hi Crystal! The table works well downstairs and the new one is perfect. We have a round one and it does take up less space! I want a sign like Macie's for my daughter's room. Where did you find the pink love one as you walk into her room? I love that your house is decorated with HL and KL so I can easily find things that you have and I love! I think the boys would love bunk beds but they can be scary. I think the set up in their room is great. You're so good and rearranging and decorating. The piano ended up in a perfect spot as well. I think you really want to choose two good twin mattresses. If you consider that they will need to be replaced in 8-10 years, then you can think about getting full or queen size beds when the kids are older. As far as bunk beds go, my brothers had them around age 8, and they frequently got hurt playing on them. My parents ended up separating the beds. Also, the boys would fight over who got the top bunk.
We don't have twins but have 5 and 3 year old boys (will be 6 and 4 in September) and we gave them bunk beds a few months ago. I was worried that they would be crazy and get hurt but it's actually been fine so far. Scariest part was like the first week when it was new and exciting.. Also, my 8 year old daughter has a barbie house in her room and it always looks like that so you are not alone! :)
Best time to buy your tv is on Black Friday!! We have way too many tv's because of that! 4!! lol Love your old kitchen table there! Perfect! Your home is so warm & cozy! My style has never been farmhouse but you have changed me!! I find my eye wandering at the stores towards that now!! 😊 Can't wait to see what you do with the basement! You are such a hard worker!
Everything looks nice! For the chocolate couch in the basement you can always buy a slip cover for the couch! A much more affordable option! Love your videos 😊
My twins just turned 4... they share a room with 5 year old (all boys). They ask for bunk beds but I worry about all of the activity. I feel like they aren't ready for them. Also one of the twins has Autism and does not fear things he should.

I know kids love bunk beds however they can be very dangerous. I'm begging you, don't get them. My 13 year old grandson was a very cautious boy and responsible yet in a moment of not thinking he had a terrible accident and died on a bunk bed. It was a freak accident however a few years prior another boy in his school died the same way. My daughter begs people not to get them. I love your channel and your children are adorable please take me seriously. God Bless you all.

Where do you find all the LOL dolls/stuff? My daughter is getting super into them but I can’t find them anywhere and when I do find them they cost a small fortune! 😕
Hi Crystal. Your house looks so good! I have twin boys and went the bunk bed route for awhile. It didn't work! They climbed and jumped and scared Mom to death! I took them down and it's so much better! Not to mention that bunk beds are a pain to make! Lol

I am a twin and I hated our bunk beds! LOL How many minutes apart are your twins? My sis and I are fraternal twins, 15 minutes apart. On our birthdays my mom still calls my sister Janet first and fifteen minutes later she calls me.
Some built in shelves would look great on either side of your fireplace downstairs. It could house toys and books and you could decorate it!

Love your house its gorgeous..... i have twin boys as well they are now 16 but I bought bunkbeds, the ones I bought could be used just as 2 twin beds so I did that until they were old enough to use them as bunkbeds ... with all this said ,if I had to do it again I would invest in 2 great quality double beds and skip all the rest . I have three kids and they had toddler beds then the twins bunk and now doubles .... i could have saved alot just going with high quality doubles to start with... if you jave the room for 2 doubles in the room do it
Can we get an update on your table? I've been thinking of getting the same one, but some of the reviews make me nervous, talking about the finish wearing off on the table top or the top coming lose from the base and being wobbly. Has any of that been your experience?
You have done a beautiful job. Love your children's rooms. Yes, our house used to be filled with toys and messes when our kids were younger.
Everything looks great. I am sure it will be nice to get your living room & office space back. We love them.. but all of the toys everywhere all of the time.. Been there, done that.
Loving the new table! I was wondering where you purchased the sideboard/cabinet and the bar stools.
I changed my front door and side lites last year and it was very expensive but worth every penny. I went from a 6 panel solid door with 1/2 glass side lites to a beautiful thermal true door with glass and full glass side lites. You really cannot see in or out of the glass. The amount of lite in my entrance is so much better

I would not have been allowed to buy a new table so soon after having just purchased one so recently. You're so lucky you can change it up without too much rebuttal. You're house is so cute!

We did small cheaper toddler beds when my twins were little then upgraded to standard twin beds when they grew out of them. When they were older they did finally have separate rooms. Now they are grown...sniff 😪🤣
We have a really nice set of wood bunk beds from a local furniture! Nice thing about them is they can be split into twin beds and you don't even know they are! They have been a life saver for all the changes we are always making in our boys' rooms!
I can't find the video where you changed your ceiling light near the kitchen. I wanted to know where you purchased it because I have a bunch of boob lights to change!

Crystal ,I love all your updates and your style and you are so sweet .I two have twin boys and consider bunk beds .But found it was to hard to make the beds and was always wonder about them jumping off so I did nice twin boy beds that have lasted until they have turned 18 yrs old so it was a good investment but instead of putting them side to side i put them in a L shape and it worked better giving them more floor space in there room to play and at that time they were obsessed with star wars and army men so there were many battle fields in there room and they love it plus they like sleeping close to each other better it gave them comfort when they were little .Hope this helps! take care

Your house is beautiful! You could always get the farmhouse door and put bubbled glass in them so it’s harder to see through. Where did you get your basement shower curtain?

Hi Crystal!! I love the round table...now i need one for our eat in kitchen!!! LOL I've always leaned towards a rectangle table but I love the way yours looks!! Our front door needs some love as well. Hubby wants a solid wood door which is pretty pricey so not sure when we will be getting one! You've been quite busy this year improving your home! I've enjoyed the process so much!! My videos always were so yellow even with changing lighting to a bright white when we had oak EVERYWHERE. Now it looks so much lighter and brighter since I've painted...so I get ya!!!!! Your basement is a great space for family fun without the fuss of creating a mess. Yes!!! I asked for this video awhile back and I'm so glad you did it. Thank you! I love your home and I think once you paint the walls and baseboards downstairs you won't mind the carpet as much just like with the floors upstairs. I don't have twins but my daughter got her bunk bed at 3 and loved it. It will also give them more room to play in their room. I can't wait for all the new changes!

You could buy a good bunk bed set that you can turn into twin beds. That way you wouldn’t have to buy beds twice.😊
