Nibbi should have something in the 21/22mm size range. I have a 30mm Nibbi PE carb on my Hawk 250 that is the round slide like yours. The only different is they offer two variants of the PE carbs in two different color choices which are raw aluminum like your and black with anodized red like mine. The variant that offers more sizes is the slip-in version not the one with the intake flange. I think the biggest size you can get for the flanged version is 28mm which a lot of people also like to buy for their Hawk 250's. The biggest you can get for the slip-in PE carbs is the 30mm. Any bigger than that and it goes to the PWK model. Also, good info on the PWK carbs, they're exactly what I'm looking for. My two vintage Yamaha dirt bikes need new carbs and I don't want to pay big money for original carbs from the era's. My 76 IT400 needs a new carb, the one on it has something broken off and my 81 YZ465 never had a carb when I got it since it's a basket case project.
You are so correct. I just looked at them all. I made that comment from memory without checking. I was way off. LOL. I also could have avoided that stupid flange mount.
@@GhettoWrench I think I bought a 22mm version of the slip-on Nibbi for a three wheeler I have. Never got to use it on the three wheeler though since it's been apart for a while. The flanged version is actually better over the slip-on model when it comes to the Hawk 250 though. It keeps the proper distance of the original carb so people were able to keep their air boxes. With my slip-on model I needed a new intake adapter and had to rid of my air box for just a pod filter. But if you're wanting to run a pod filter anyway it's not a big deal.
Great video!! My PWK30 on my 70mm big bore XR150L works great. I did modify it by putting a piece of foam above the needle to hold it down better and I put a bigger spring to put more pressure on the slide. I might have to try a cvk sometime though! Thanks for the video!😎👍
@@GhettoWrench yes, just added a piece of foam between the white plastic piece and the top of the needle in the slide. The foam piece can be inserted in the white plastic piece where the needle fits. I just had noticed that the needle was really loose when in the carb. Having the foam in there also makes it easier to put the slide back in the carb because it holds the needle where it’s supposed to be. Other carbs have a clip or something that holds the needle in place better. Then I replaced the stock spring with a longer one.
I tried to look through all your videos for the answer and gave up. So much content. You're the man for these Ice bears hands down. Mostest/bestest. My question was have you gotten around to trying the 30mm stock style carb vs nibbi 28 or other styles? I've got a stock 150 with better exhaust Gen 5 and a 171 kit on another basically same as your set up I've seen before possibly I different cam. Ncy ignition set up and an adjustable cdi. (Probably tmi) I have a nibbi 28mm slide style ready to go. I just wonder if rideability would be better with the 30 stock style. What do you think about the gy6 EFI systems, not really expensive on Amazon but if you buy from someone like rolling wrench with the connectors they're super expensive. Do you think they're worth it.
@sire-1213 I have no idea. I saw it on RW and was thinking it was too much. I may buy a Amazon one though. Sounds like a fun project. Has to better than a carb.
My Vitacci Clash 200 has EFI on it from factory. Don't know if they're using the same EFI system being sold on Amazon though. Besides some issues with a ground wire to the coil it's reliable for the most part. It starts up and goes every time.
Sorry to bug you but I’ve been stuck trying to make sure my 2013 kymco agility 50cc is the same engine as the gy6. I’m looking at a 21mm carb but after doing research people say 19 might be better for top speed. I just got my moped two weeks ago but got it running well stock now and have rollers and a variator kit coming in the mail today so excited to see how they works. Gonna do a few more mods but probably not a big bore or anything expensive this moped is just for fun gonna buy a ninja400 or something alike soon to get around faster
@tylerseefeld3464 it probably is but you can look at number on left lower part of engine case and it will say 139PQMB or 139qmb or something close. Still would be an improvement with a carb. That Nibbi 19mm worked great on my 50 when it was still just a 49cc.

I'm thinking of getting a 21 mm nibbi carb for my stock 50 and was look to hear som reviews or people who have had a nibbi carb before or have now. How are they as for as reliable or performance

@jtapps20 that is a 2 stroke. You may can even go bigger on the carb. I think a PWK is originally designed as a 2 stroke carb. I would go for a 21 to 24mm PWK
