I have the exact same issue you do with Krillin, he's amazing but he's so hard to get him to stand up. The lack of forward bend on the foot/ankle is really annoying. Other than that, perfect figure to me.
💯 we need both. The dark blue/navy version without the shoulder pads he wears on Namek is probably my favorite vegeta outfit of all time. I really hope they’ll do him someday
Cancelled my preorder for this one unfortunately, don't have a problem with figuarts doing different styles according to the source, actually prefer that than making one hybrid mould, but the inability to make him stand, shiny inconsistent heads, little-to-no ab crunch, and ankles at the premium price isn't worth it. I'll probably just get Gohan when he drops in price but skip Krillin. 1st time they unfortunately missed on a Krillin release.
Actually you are right- i too would prefer this love and attention to detail for each variation of a character than a standard cookie cutter of proportions just to allow headswaps etc. Looking forward to seeing what comes next! Bring on Namek Vegeta!

He IS shorter and looks different in the namek saga compared to the cell saga to be fair. Idk what they were supposed to do there really. People would be upset that the namek one doesn't actually look like the art from the namek saga.
I love the way this figure looks, but I actually had to trim the bottom of his boot cuffs (just above both feet) to get him to stand at all. I had other issues with mine as well, but other than that, I do really enjoy this krillin. Still hoping for a vegeta though!
Scale in terms of height looks okay. It’s just bizarre how child characters or small characters when in figure form have overly large skulls, much bigger than their adult counterparts. Gashapon keep heads and faces relative to each other so there’s no obvious issue. Besides that the figuarts look great and are must haves for me!
i was thinking the same thing mate, it have no logic or sense at all, the more smaller the figures they make, more big heads they put, how in the hell kids have heads bigger than their own grown up version ??? i hate that! and the fact they doesnt match heads to other bodys on purpose, why not allows us to swap heads between bodys? 😡

Great review as always bro, as for the figure, its a very beautifull figure and thats all. Very crap limited articulation, no head sawps... those shoulders pads are very bad to pose, huge head, no effect parts... only thing that save it is the look. 😵💫
I think it's fine that the scale is weird. They're just prioritizing the specific style of the art at the time over scaling them with different versions. I just don't get why they won't update the wonky shoulder pads from Saiyan armor figures. I guess they're pretty much done with them now so it's not gonna happen
His size/sculpt is pretty accurate to how he was drawn then, it's similar to how Vegeta got progressively taller while his hair kept shrinking 😅

if they shortened the cell saga body removed the blue on the shoulders, chest and used the namek heads they could make a good saiyan saga krillin

The shiny head makes sense because he does wax his head for shine he mentions it in the anime and they have a meme of 18 shinning his head

I think I honestly prefer the battle armor heads on Krillin 2.0.
I snagged that Gohan 2 days ago for $135 AUD. Even at price it's ridiculous but I love this line too much.
