Same reason why most boxers when getting in the ring with a mixed martial artist they are so cocky at first until actually going one-on-one with someone, I've seen this same scenario so many times when training 🤦 it always ends badly for the boxer, I trained through Sean pitcock who also did Line-X truck bed liners as a side hustle, he did a thing called hell week where anything goes literally for a week, things like taking open palm slaps to the chest, even getting choked out repeatedly, it was all about cardio, endurance, repetition, and conditioning.... The whole point of hell week, we all faught in the cage and my stepdad Charles headley also refereed a couple fights, ironically a couple of our videos are here on RUclips uploaded by other people who attended the fights, we used to even do security work for some of the fights and also used to hang around Perry The punisher Ballard who is a pro champion boxer, hes retired now but yeah fun times
