@MYCOOLI1 He's a martial artist with the heart of a fighter. He's supposed to feel that way, whether he was right or wrong, especially with over 40 years experience . Just the same, Bruce Lee was supposed to feel that way as well. A martial artist, competitor or fighter feeling he could beat another isn't putting them down, it's having self confidence. And Jai White's skill set is advanced enough for him to feel the way he does no matter what the outcome would have been.

So many tips that Michael is giving, my Sensei has also been trying to drill into me. For example putting the foot down or back immediately after front kick!! Second, really turning the hip fully into kicks, being almost sideways when you finish; this way to get power into it. We were just working that round kick, similar technique about a week ago. Last I did a seminar few months ago using his hook. Just shows that the true masters and high ranking karate teachers mostly think alike. OSS respect

In karate, you learn things like using your hips and ALL of your body too, but not as much as in boxing. Boxers can learn from martial artists and martial artist can learn from boxers.

Michael Jai White is the perfect person to teach Kyokushin Karate being that his fundamentals, technique, and speed are phenomenal. Steven Seagal also has a black belt in Kyokushin Karate since it's a Japanese art that flows well with Aikido. That front snap kick that Seagal has mastered is from Kyokushin Karate and that kick is powerful. Not a fan Karate but Karate has some effective techniques in it and if you're really good at it, and know how to apply it in a freestyle format, it's an effective striking art. Great seminar and good teaching.

He is a true martial artist and he definitely knows his craft very well if I Was attending this class I would be like a school kid smiling and laughing and asking for his autograph instead of trying to learn anything much love from Annapolis md..

Osu! I am a student of shotokan karate currently a 1st degree black belt but I would love to learn about kyokushin and about how you train your students. Especially coming from one of my idols ever since my childhood. Thank you for your inspiration.

So true Mike , lots of martial artist hate on you, for being the best in the game now ... Brue Lee ,when he was alive, they gave it to him... So they should give it to you, being the best..... I like how you are so humble and don't really fuss about it ; and that ect, show a great Martial artist. Iam from Detroit, game recognize game.

    # the real Michael jai white.
I hope you see this. So I know you hear all the time how somebody is a big fan or how do you fight like that, or they want you to teach them moves.
Well let just say, thank you for all of your hard work on and off the screen, in and out of the public eye. I appreciate it.
Of course I love your movies, and your fighting style, but I admire you for the person you are, not the characters you portray,.I'm 31 will be 32 soon.
Never had a father (which has made me a great father) I come from a very poor family, lived in a single wide in the country, I got clothes for Xmas. Etc,
Of course I would watch every training video you ever put out, I'm not a martial artist but would love to learn, at the current moment I am a lineman and my job is very physically and time demanding, what I would love to learn more than anything is your discipline, not just your discipline in your character, but your discipline to your own body.
I'm very interested in your dietary videos, as I am very active/ strong, but still fluffy I guess, I have a dad bod, and like u said before the muscle is there but you have to cut the far to see anything.
I would love to meet you 1 day even tho that is a very long shot.
I'd love to talk or conversation with you on just life things,
I don't want anything from you.
Just to listen to the knowledge that pours out of you.
You are the only teacher that has ever explained things in a way that actually gets thru to my brain.
If you do read this thank you so much for you time, and the things you have done, and for the life lessons.
    You are appreciated.

From my time in the dojo, I can say that this guy’s legit. It’s a bit different than what I was taught but who cares? It’s better to know something than get caught with nothing. Much respect
