I really like Martin's method for running an oil cooler because I have relocated my oil filter to the block, getting rid of my stock oil cooler in the process. I was wondering what fittings he uses?
The cause of the previous engine failure was valve float which did result spectacularly. Im just wondering with this engine did you replace springs/valves to prevent this from happening again.
Nope, we lowered the redline a little and changed the way the redline actually cut the engine to hopefully stop any over revs. Performed great at its first day out, so if we can get another 2-3 years without issues sounds great to us.
That is certainly having confidence in the beams. You hear so much rubbish regarding these engines of failure points and yet here you guys are, giving this thing heaps. Did you contemplate doing the valve springs at all.
@@steveattard5029 We definitely talked about it. even considered going inconel for the exhuast side. We more than likely will build a fully prepped beams engine for the future and just use this one for now.
Are you guys making the 3sge turbo manifolds? Pretty impossible to find some affordable ones other than the ones form the rare greddy kit on the JDM Altezzas.

Hey guys great build...I have an altezza with the same beams motor in it we've built it with pistons rods valve springs arp head studs stock vvti cam gears making 400whp but I need a stronger gear box any suggestions here for me and I'm getting a condensation build up find it weird after a few months it's happening regularly we did a leak down test all cylinders are showing good we live in a tropical country btw any help would be great thanks
Great thanks for the reply...so 400 to wheels on 20psi pump gas...we wanna push it abit more. How much boost can the head and block handle and do you guys ever had any issues with the head cracking?
We only run 11psi so we wouldn't be the ones to answer that haha. As for the condensation, not a problem we've run into ourselves. I'd recommend making sure the crank case is properly ventilated.
@@TheEventMain Just depends which one you bought. We used the OEM B series TPS sensor and just looked it up online. If you can't find it online, send us an email and I can try and send you a picture of our wiring on it.
Steve is a mastermind. 🤙🏽
That shifter is really cool! Love the adjustability. Great job on the rebuild.
Yeah it's a cool piece for sure!
@@omd_sd speaking of cool... How does one go about getting a OMD sticker?
cant wait to ditch my NA 2J IS300 and go 3S turbo! you guys are inspiring on the build! cheers from Virginia!
Find a 3SGE yet? Also, what part of VA? From Fredericksburg area here.
@@rhubarbpie2027 from Springfield/fairfax. Nice a local!
@@launch_d cool deal! I have family up there. Cheers 🍻

Thank you! Martin uses either XRP or Earl's fittings for pretty much everything he does.
Good to see it's going again Martin!
Have a question on your oil catch can setup, where do you route the hose coming out from the PCV valve?
Saw you use silicone for the sump pan which leaks after time i used urethene which keeps it dry an seals solid

I love how quiet and subtle this car is 😂
Hahaha, still have the track exhaust on it 😂
Sounds great!
If only I turned down the mic so it didn't peak haha. Next time.

I don't know is my honest answer haha.
Surfab and weldspeed. You're welcome.
Are those j160 shifters for sale?
They should be. Hit up JSP Fab on Instagram 🤙🏻
i’ve heard the j160 grenades over 350ish. did you guys modify the trans at all?
Nope. It's all about clutch selection and our guys nailed it and it's worked great.
@@omd_sd any chance you guys got links for what you used? if names are in the video i’ll just rewatch

The R154 gearbox is probably the easiest way to go! Use the 4y bellhousing! Best of luck with the car man!

Any advice with the condensation issue or is that normal

@@omd_sd 11 psi haha great stuff anyways thanks for the advice
can you build this car for me if I supply my delorean to your company..?
What mods are done to this engine
Internally nothing. Only actual engine mod is new cam gears to eliminate the variable cam timing.
Use 3s gte pistons and con rods I saw it on cj built channel
Not the same valve angle
all internal stock 3sge ?
Yeup. Only engine mod is opening the valve gaps for turbo and then eliminating variable cam timing.
Hey guys do you have the wiring for the Honda tps to the 3sge?
You want the pin out for the tps sensor?
@@omd_sd yes please
