Wonderful gypsy music, which I love. The gypsies contributed to Flamenco music which I also love. God bless the Gypsies of this world. Although they have been discriminated by many European countries, it does not stop the Gypsies in providing music for our enjoyment.
I see a lot of admirers of her and her music. The music is 'gipsy' or 'roma' which differs slightly depending on where each 'tribe' or family is from. She is singing a song called dzelem dzelem which is known to the official national anthem of the gypsies around the world. Although her pronunciation of the lyrics are not all there she makes up for it with her beautiful voice. I myself as a gypsy am proud of her way of portraying the meaning of the song. Upre Romale and viva la gitanos.

@@leonamay8776 Strictly true, it's a Roma song but with significant Klezmer sensibilities, To establish the proportion of such empathetic Klezmer elements perhaps it might be an idea to contact the band who do, after all call themselves Barcelona Klezmer Gipsy Orchestra. It might a useful exercise to establish precisely which parts of of their music is Roma, which parts Manouche jazz and which are Klezmer.

I hope that my poor Spanish and Google translate get this right...

I am Algerian and Gypsy songs make me so nostalgic and move me to the chore. Though I don't understand the language, this lady conveys the song with warmth and heart.

Klezmer is infectiously uplifting and these exponents of it are brilliant transmitters of a wonderful tradition.

Very!!! But this isn't klezmer.
She is so beautiful...and then her voice! 🙏🏻❤🙏🏻❤🙏🏻
I simply adore Sandra Sangiao. This song and many others of the group make dream about a different world, where everyone is equal and is respected. Let's build another society with respect for differences, minoritys, for humanity.

It is amazing how bands have to be tuned with eachother, this is like their sould join together when they play.
¡Arriba, gitanos! Ahora es el momento
Venid conmigo los romà del mundo
La cara morena y los ojos oscuros
me gustan tanto como las uvas negras
¡Ay romà, ay muchachos!
Tomado del FB de MAURICIO KARTUN
I hope that my poor Spanish and Google translate get this right...
Marce Libertad gracias.
