I love the winter snow is so wonderful I love all these outdoor videos of people building their own house and log cabins in little shelters it’s great I love survival I wanna be able to survive in my little car during the winter time if I need to

You certainly had the ideal snow for the shelter you made, Bella was insisting on getting fed when she twice pulled out her food from your pack in the shelter. Another interesting video Ted, I appreciate the work that it takes to film from many different angles and camera setups

I use to build teepees kinda like this growing up in NC but without the snow. Wish we had snow like that. I am loving your fur baby 🦮 she is beautiful and very smart a little mischievous but cute!!

No. Not this one it melted and was unrecognizable within a month just some dead sticks was impossible to tell anyone was there. That's a nice part about an all national selter

Thank you glad you enjoyed it. This was the tail end of winter so not too cold it was max -10°c overnight but maybe only -7°c and -5°c in the day. Those are good Temps for working and sleeping

I see you brought your dog today. Is she all lab or lab mix? I had a purebred black lab that was 150lbs and fit. He just kept growing. I have a lab x pitbull now and she’s a clown. Very smart too.

Wow 150lb that's amazing. What a specimen. My Pup Bella is a 50/50 mix of Yellow Lab and German Shorthair Pointer. It is a great combo she's a little firecracker, very loyal silly and affectionate and strong as a bull pulling sleds in winter etc. She's a bit bonkers at times around fishing she gets wayyyy over excited but she's an amazing friend and dog. I'd like another of the same mix. A little warmer fur coat would help a lot or even the thicker Lab skin and fat would help. She got some but the pointer in her makes the cold harder for her
@@TedBairdShorts the dog I have now is now 4 and had cancer twice. The meds and surgeries cost me my truck. But she has 2 failed adoptions and hated me. That was the foster care on Facebook. My sister volunteers and when my pup all of 21lbs came available she called me. I spent 10 minutes with her in her outdoor run and she put her front legs on my leg and licked my face. I took her! No regrets except I share an SUV with my wife. That stops my fun stuff. I had to change careers because I originally worked for the government and government contracts stopped! Thank you Ronald Reagan. So I went back to school and was working as an EMT and firefighter for all of 6 months and a staircase collapsed while standing 30 ft up and that collapsed and it should of killed me but I was a powerlifter/ martial artist so my body was a block of muscle. Hear I am almost 60 and my kids have nicer vehicles. I blew my chance, to get my truck, but my dog came first. Cost over $15k for her meds and surgeries. If she had a zero chance then I would have to put her down but she had a chance so…..
The knife you were using was made by whom? I just got a Buck folding knife, identical to the one I had 44 years ago. That was by far the sharpest folding knife I’ve ever had way back then and still is. Came out of the box sharp enough to cut my fingers. Fixed blade I have a gerber with a fire starter built into the sheath. It’s bear Grylls model.
It splits wood and I love it. I collect knives. I have a metal detector for land and 1 for diving. Play guitar so so….
I look thru all my change and a bucket full of pennies and I have a 1 gallon glass Seagrams 7 bottle full of pennies that was started by my wife’s grandparents so there could be some valuable coins in that grouping alone.
