      Hello, sorry to hear your neck is so painful. Keep in mind that tension in your trunk will greatly contribute to neck tension, so to free your neck you will need to work with your entire trunk. Have a look at the following videos that address trunk and neck tension.

    Hello, Colm. I hope all is well.
    This is a long shot, but if I don't ask I will never know.
    I just got some X-rays, and they found that I have a small (4mm) backward slippage (retrolisthesis) of the 4th cervical vertebra on the 5th one. I was told that this might be the reason why I have so many issues (but I am getting better - with your help).
    Is there anything to fix this?🤞

      @@LearnSomatics Thank you! I ve done the first video and it felt really good and i will keep doing them. But I don t know if the ql muscle it s the real cause of the sensation that i feel in the right side when i arch and bend my back. It s not a kind of sharp pain so i don t really know what to think. Do you think it could be a disc problem like a pinched nerve?

    • @LearnSomatics
      @LearnSomatics  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Denis, Glad that movement felt good. It's never just one muscle, so probably QLs, low back extensors, obliques and a few others. The following video will get the entire low back/QL area quite thoroughly.
      ruclips.net/video/jl1RrZRMw0Y/видео.html
      Try it and if it helps practice it daily for a week or so, then you can move back to the standard Daily Routine video.
      Also explore all my Arch & Flatten videos, they all address the lower back.
      There's no way for me to to tell if it's a disc problem/pinched nerve I'm afraid. Practice the movements for a few days, see how you go and if the problem persists, go get it checked out. Thanks for watching.🙏
