Absolutely loving the daily somatics and your other exercises. This one is great for my back and hips as I have arthritis in both. Gentle but effective 😃👍
😮@@LearnSomatics, Aurelle,The side movements are more times consuming for Colm to do. i understand i too, like a visuasle of the broth sides, too. I guess sometimes he finds it too time consuming?
Do you mean on the Arch & Flatten movement? If so, no. You want to use the back muscles to arch your back. The hip flexors should not be engaged. If you find it hard to arch you back without engaging your hip flexors try the following movement then retest your arch & flatten. ruclips.net/video/CZwtaa4Y8XA/видео.html Thanks for watching.
Clicking and crunching usually settles down as the muscles relax and lengthen. So if you’re still experiencing clicks and crunches it would suggest your muscles are still tight/contracted.
Absolutely, you're a fully integrated system of movement, everything effects everything else! Also look at the anatomy, your Latissimus Dorsi connect your upper am to your lower back and pelvis, so of course it can cause an issue at any of those locations, and that is just ONE muscle! It's fascinating. Sign up to my mailing list if you'd liek to leanr more about all things Somatics, here is the link: bit.ly/3R4zOVH Thanks for watching as always!

So glad I found somatics! Thanks! Quick question ,on the arch, do I want my hip flexors to engage or stay soft.....?

I love this., my favorite stuck in the mudds!
Do you have anything about clicking , crunching of the hip and shoulder, i don't remember you ever mention that or anyone in Somatics?

always enjoy your lessons. I just joined ES graduate community . Will you be giving any trainings or teaching on that? I sure hope so!
Hey Dar! I'm sure I will at some point.
