FSD is amazing. Some side streets it doesn't understand that cars don't always follow the road lines in the snow. And cross walks are annoying because it states 30 when lights are flashing but Cybertruck always goes thirty and never comes out of 30.
I honestly love RUSH, but for uncleared snowy roads, I wouldn't use it. It would be great if the vehicle could detect bad weather and adjust the profile accordingly. I think it is coming. Eventually.
I didn’t use anything specific and the car felt very good on the road, even on the at tires, so if you have a set of proper winter tires installed I wouldn’t worry about it.
From one Canadian to another, I do appreciate the video however, you need to use the proper terms. That is a truck and it’s not to be referred to as a car. A car is completely different. That said thank you for the video
@@S3R4PH1 Hm, it’s a good catch. I’m certain they were ON, and it’s just looking like that on the camera, but I’ll need to double-check, just in case. Heh. I’ll do it later today when I get out of the house.
Great video sir
Merry Christmas Leo! I too have been testing the CT in the snow! Will post some videos soon
Merry Christmas! 🎄
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Merry Christmas, New Year, and all kinds of Holidays! 💪

You know, actually even for that short trip that I filmed, it felt much more stable and smoother overall than the previous version. Even in the snow.
I think I would have set the speed preference to CHILL

What settings do you suggest using in heavy snow for best traction?

That's fair, I'm still getting used to it, this is my first truck
Were the headlights not on, or did you just not brush them off?
My thoughts exactly!

Did you have to brush off any of the cameras to get FSD to engage?
Nope, they weren't obstructed (besides the front ones)
Clean off the snow, man! Those chunks can blind or injure someone when they go tumbling off when you start moving.
I always do, those are not the type that would go flying.
