Have a look at some of the specialised shallow weed fins out of Western Australia. Fangyfin, Tribal Delta, Pepe Foil and more. One of our innovators even films the fins as they are being used.
im a 14 year old windsurfer from uk and i hit 40km or 25mph over this summer on my techno 293 race gear at an event in scotland on 6.8 two cams and techno board 205 leiter board and ik thats huge
i was on this spot this september, but there was seegrass everywhere, also to the topsurface, and on weekend with wind more than 50 (!!) kiters....seegrass was not the prob, only the crowd of kiters 😂
I’m the same as in it takes a while to relax and get comfortable so you can eke out more speed. Flat water is soooo nice to ride, like riding in a bath tub, west Kirby is like this on a south west wind, nice camera angles 🥳🥳
This thing where you let the sail be pushed down in front of you, almost to water level, before then jibing, how does that work? I've seen it in a lot of videos now and can't wrap my beginner's mind around it ... why don't people fall off the board when doing that?
40 × knots is a good wind speed to Windsurf in, and although aquaplaning is guaranteed in winds of that strength I would rather perform more Slalom actions on a tidal flow as calm as those shown during those actions, and a greater variety of actions in general.
This is soo cool. Having less than 5 cm under me at full speed would make me totally paranoid :-). Today I did 31 knots in choppy mess and shifting winds. I wonder how much extra speed such a spot would give?? All the best - Per
What amazing flat water and a great place to get some speed! Have you gone more than 45,45 knots to match the fastest German woman windsurfing speed? Will this be your challenge?
sehr viele kiter da (80+ meistens...), bestimmt auch gut für dich da! aber schwierig einen freien run zu bekommen mit so viel leinensalat auf dem wasser...
Once again fantastic job! As I am from Greece and seeing this dark gray waters makes me feel happy about my home spot 😂
I prefer blue sunny waters as well, but windsurfing in the north is still fun ;)
Loving the confidence to hacksaw a carbon fin! Holds up saw, yeah, this will work!!!

I need to call my fin guy and order some specials ;)
40 knots still my unfulfilled dream 😅

btw im 4 in uk national ranking
I’m also 14 and I hit 53km/h this year
Super nice that you got to try it. The easiest place to go fast in the world 🤙
For sure, just a bit tricky as you don't get the board so free from using a good fin i feel...
@@WindsurfingNils it takes some adjustment of the setup, we will sail there together next time and I will borrow you some secret weapons
Speedsurfing ist echt ’ne feine Sache

Yes seegrass everywhere and 80+ kiters on some days, when it gets over 30 knots a lot less kiters...
Welcome to Denmark, hope you liked it here! Just got into sailing, I'm very excited to do it more. Cheers!
It's the best sport in the world!
Great job🤙🏻🌊 such beautiful conditions

Hi Nils, our local spot is weedy and very shallow 18-20cm delta fins only! We regularly get over 40 knots there.
nice :) I need to get my hands on some delta fins for this occasion!

Nils, summer is just around the corner, come to Western Australia and experience some real smooooth. Bring a couple of sails, we'll find some boards.
Would love a trip to WA :)
Amazing spot!! Did it last winter, but with a bit more wind👍😁
Amazing spot, was there last winter with small board and 5.6! Still overpowered👍🤣🤪
Is there a speed difference between salt water and fresh water? I just foil now but like your foiling speed video’s. Chicago
Hallo Nils, welche Speeduhr verwendest du und / oder weißt du welche Uhren für offizielle GPS - Messungen zugelassen sind ?

Awesome spot! So jealous 😱.
I'm at this spot right now with my friends speedjäger Fehmarn😂 . This spot is the bom 💣
Blacksheep at Ringkøbing Fjord greeting you Nils🤙
Incredible spot
Comgratulations breaking 40 knots👍👍👍

Hey Nils. Whar call the place? I normally goes til Hvide Sande Syd. It looks epich.
It's called Kloster in the north of the Fjord
@@WindsurfingNils Thank you very much. We have to come thre next time🙂
Voice over is super
yeah it really hurt watching this
as it should haha
Tack!
thank you Johan!
Hi Nils. Position of the base is at far end of the board?(front) I cant see..
yes, to get some extra lift
To sail on water that flat is dreamy. I hit 40 mph three times this season in Bay Area SF chop, that's just as fast right, wink wink.
Congradulations
what shall I learn from it. A slalom boards is fast even when not using a slalom fin??? Very interesting.
with enough wind anything is fast ;)
Speed, we need more speed 🚀
looking forward to some of those autumn storm!

You do not have strava?
If it‘s not on Strava it‘s never happened 😉
endlich seh ich das mal !

@@WindsurfingNils ab 50 kn ist man da alleine auf dem Wasser ;) war leider Südwind: ruclips.net/video/1xTNkONPhvI/видео.html
Nice place and nice channel👍😁... But you pro dudes should at least have some battery tools for this😉😉
Great and nice entertainment 😃🍻
nice superlight uphaul. Is it already in the P7 shop or Prototype 😇
Yes, 279€ for this special one ;)
Nice!
The problem is that the best in the world goes 38kn in a crazy chop with waves in Pozo....with 36 runs.....
Humans are aerodynamically poorly shaped (high drag)...
