- The Burnout series is one of the best racing franchises of all time, so how does this carry over into a shooter? I'm not spoiling it, just watch the video. ;)

Black deserves a proper sequel or remake. I'd only recommend checking out its spiritual successor, Bodycount, if you can get it dirt cheap.
Glad Black was made available for purchase on current Xbox Series players. But, I'd like to see a remaster for PS5, Switch, and pc as well.
Great video, excited for you next one! Since you asked for suggestions; If you're into obscure racing games from the ps2 generation, a good one to check out is NYR: New York Race it's got a really cool wipeout feel but more arcade-like.

I looked up NYR, I've never heard of this game but the music is awesome. Apparently it's a tie in with The Fifth Element? Haven't seen that movie in ages. It's on my radar for sure now, thanks for the suggestion!
This game is an underdog of the shooters genre. Before the era of CoD Black ops 1 and 2. I think 3 started to fall off. Anyway there is more CoD games nowadays than I ever before let see whats next. "Call of duty Black Ops re-told"

Ha! I'd forgotten about this.
it looks so good the mood is perfect. everything is grey and green and smokey and music is great it puts you in the role straight away . but what makes this fps stand out is the player movement which is very slow making you vunarable so rely on positioning and preplanning becuase you are not just glidingthrough the map like most shooters.. the focus is on aiming and the weapons themselves are heavy.. everything you do in this game feels like it s got weight .. from recoils to explosion to dust to the blinding bullets flares when shooting to the bullet spread and even the empty bullet shells flying in your face.. .everything is there to make you feel uncomfortable and its very immersive. as for the enemies they are varied enough but most prudent and hide well and all shoot at once and can aim even from far out in the large maps .. the ai is not bad and requires you to pulls off some long range kills which is hard with how precise the hitboxes are and how tanky the enemies so you cant just spray bullets and win. even the grenade requires skill to aim.. the problem is its too short and you cant even choose you starting weapons limits the variety in tackling mission hurting the replayablility. but ill always take quality over quantity and this is one the best shooter ever.
If you ever get the chance, replaying this on the Xbox Series X really elevates it to the next level. Even the Xbox One X gives a nice bump to visuals

I bought body count years before I bought black. It was so boring and I never finished it and got rid of it. I liked the design and look of the enemies and locations but the games tone and style is so far from black. Hopefully there's a way we could get a sequel especially with the gaming tech we have today.
Dang, it's really that bad?! That's a shame, it was always a game that interested me in passing but better games were coming out constantly so I kept pushing it further down my backlog.
Loved this game. It took the guns seriously, even though it doubled most magazine counts. I wish I still had it. Funny how you always regret getting rid of games.
Thankfully it's still cheap at least!
