- I can't stand the standard welding helmet for welding in tight spots on cars so I bought these goggles. I have had them for several months and so far they are my favorite for welding in tight spots.
Here is the amazon link
www.amazon.com/YESWELDER-Dark...
And here is the company web page which I just noticed is having a 20% off early black friday sale. I do not receieve anything for these links just posted for ease of finding them. However it makes me want to buy the panoramic view helmet now.

Great reviews and explanations with the info for the RUclips community you da man!
Glad you showed this because I did not know they even had them.
😂 lol I enjoy your video 😜 cause your face frustrated 🥴 about space
Every tool has a special purpose, that hood will work fine for people who are making small welds in small increments of time but if you weld all day with that hood you will have sunburn ears, neck, side of your face and any place that is not covered by a hood
Yup. This works great for tight areas and if you end up using it a bunch a UV welding sock will keep the ears happy. But generally you won't be doing it that much with it.
You can wear a fire resistant mask. Also the mask would help if anything flew on your head.
You can buy the un branded version of this for half the price of amazon. I am going to order a set. I read they will work well with oxy acetylene too.
Wow! I though Yeswelder was the unbranded version…
I like those. Maybe I'll get one.
They are great for those hard to get to spots when a regular helmet gets in the way.
Hey I have to ask you, when you strike a spark do you see that initial flash before the lens darkens? My helmet is annoying because it does that then you are left not seeing what is going on because of the flash and of course that can not be good for the eyes. I have to close my eyes each time. Annoying!
If your helmet has an adjustment for sensitivity turn it up to max and then work your way back down until it doesn't darken too easily/early. Also set the delay for long enough so that it stays dark a little longer so it doesn't go clear then you start welding again and it has to go dark.
Will the Yes goggles accommodate if you have to wear glasses?
I have heard you can but I have not verified it. I'll try it with my sunglasses and see. I really wish they had cheaters that would fit. (magnifying lens)
Dan verbrandt het uv licht je oren 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
So some sort of ear muffs would be a good idea. :)
its a back pack bag.
