MINI splits will solve your noise and cooling problem

True but I need about 5 tons of AC for the summer time which is quite pricey in minisplits. Right now it's 107* and the shop temp is 102* last I checked... I would like to add more insulation but that's very expensive to do on a metal building. You either build another building inside with studs and insulate or strip all the steel off the outside and put on a 4" layer of foam then new steel as the old stuff is now too short... No easy solutions with this style of building. And sprayfoam is about 6K+ then I have to empty the shop pull out the fiberglass insulation and then have to add material for wall mounting stuff. Metal buildings are nice but can end up being expensive compared to stick built. In fact I could do solar panels and more AC for less than doing sprayfoam...

So how do you deal with the grease washing into the soil?

Generally I prefer to remove grease and gunk before blasting. But when I do messy stuff I have two large HVAC drain pans from attic units. I will put one on the ground and one as a backstop and then I can collect the greasy gunk and dispose of it. The backing plate in the video was just a quickie for the video not how I usually do it.

It's lit up like a christmas tree right now. I really don't use the flexible light in there. Will record some video of he inside at some point.
