    Wish I was lucky enough to have someone with the passion & knowledge of Jim when I was growing up. Glad to see him sharing this with the rest of us.

    Having a coach that truly cares about his/her athletes, building that trust into their training is a perhaps the most important factor in being a successful coach. It is obvious why Wendler's guys are doing so well.

    Thank you so much, Jim! This series has been so amazing and inspiring for me. I coach a high school barbell club (Calgary Alberta) with a mix of competitive team athletes and non-athletes who just lift to get stronger and be part of a club... I keep a generalized (5 week) block style what is your opinion on using variations to the main lifts? (tempo, paused ect)...

    Really, only 5lbs added to training max per cycle even for lower body?

      5# for BP and OHP....10# for SQT and DL every cycle.....
