    Shaking disappeared for me when I replaced the rear bearings..the bearing on the passenger side was scored pretty good, inside of the axle was shaft was also scored. A little sand paper and new bearings...problem disappeared. Secondly, my brothers friend had the shake, passed on the info..same fix,...all is well. Figured i'd pass on the info.

    I replaced pretty much everything on my truck. But in the end it was the road force. I had my wheels and tires road force balanced four times from three different locations and still shakes 65 plus. The last place I went to the guy said he had 14 years doing balancing and 2 of my OEM wheels and 18” tires he could not get below 40 on one and 22 on the other. IF They are NOT BELOW 15!!!!!! Your truck will shak guaranteed. They all balanced out two 0 but road force two high. Bought New Wheels and tires had road force balanced 3 times . Last time stood outside and watched each tire road force below 15 now rides perfectly smooth!!!! The problem is most tire techs do not know how to road force properly. If you don’t stay and watch each tire get done you will get screwed. Do some research on road force before you take it in. The road force is different than balance!!

    Ok so I have a 2014 Silverado ltz crew cab and I've done everything I can to fix my situation and I don't know if it's a Chevy shake or not but what mine does is more of a bounce then a shake. Between 40 and 75 I get a very bad bounce and it's not all the time but after hitting a small bump in the road the truck continues to bounce. It's very annoying and embarrassing, u can actually see it at the tailgate if u look in the mirror. When I bought my truck it had a 3 inch lift and I didn't have it then. About 5 months after my transmission failed and got a new one. That's when it all started. Ive changed the shocks and struts, break pads and rotors, 2 sets of tires and balanced them at three different shops, even put it back to factory height nothing has worked. I didnt think it would have been the transmission but I went ahead and had that checked out and everything is in good condition including the trans mount. I'm absolutely lost on what to do now. The dealership just wants more money and they can't guarantee a fix. After everyone changing there body mounts and drive shafts and it's still not fixing the issue has me pulling my hair out lol. I want to do the body mounts but I'm hesitant.

    Simple rule of thumb. Anything you feel in the wheel, is in the steering. Anything you feel in your butt is the drive line Anything you feel in the brakes is in the brakes.

    I've been looking for a video like this for a while. I have the same issue with my 2007 Ford Expedition Limited. Great Truck, that's in great condition, but it shakes severely when rolling over any size bump and it shakes the seats. Driving at high speeds the vehicle is stable but if I hit bump, severe shaking that jeopardizes steering control and that scares me. I've had the suspension checked by dealer and other mechanics and no one can find a suspension problem. I've replaced the struts, springs, and tie rods and have had all the bushings and joints inspected, no issues found. But there is definitely something wrong. Feels like the body separates from the frame when hitting a bump. So, your video is making me think there may be issue with the body frame mounts, which no one has suggested yet.

    I have a 2015 Chevy 1500, I took off my running boards and brackets that were held by 2 body mounts on each side of the truck and I put the bolts back in & now I hear a clunking noise as the bolts or body mounts are hitting the frame when I am driving around uneven roads and braking.

    My shake is through the seat as well I’ve also owned two 2015 one brand new 2wd crew cab short bed it has the shake also currently a 2015 RCSB 4wd. It also has the shake and it’s the worse I’ve felt. To the point it feels like it’s going to break something at some point. It’s not constant but noticeable at highway speeds more so than any where else. I went from lift 3”’s to lower 4” front 6” rear new rims tires rear shocks front upper lower arms w/ ball joints bushings as well as inner outer tie rod ends. Checked for oblong axle issues. Then one day on dry Arizona highways I tossed it in 4wd for the drive home from work (25 miles) I noticed the general shake was lessened but still there, as well as well I shifted down or raised my RPM’s the vibration seem to follow the motors RPM and mor aggressive shake. I feel this is a internal problem in the transmission that resinates through the rest of the chassis and other areas reverb the vibration cause it to feel more like driveshaft, axle, frame beaming. Now I’m not for certain but I feel if someone was to swap out the transmission to a TH-400 or maybe even a 4L80E it might eliminate the shake. This is one of my plans fir the truck however I’m not able to do that yet. It could be a poor design and use of inferior metals or even a program flaw or both. It seems to follow the newer 6 speeds as well as the 8 speeds that were just recently recalled.

    Thank You for Sharing this experience. I have been contemplating one of the "shakes" coming from steering box... space in gears, excess radial (up and down) play in steering box output shaft, amplified by the re-resonance overtones coming from ported cavernous spaces, chassis rails, cab interior, etc... since it is bolted to frame, any sound it makes up there would be heard out back, and the cab acts like a ported/unported speaker box, or guitar body... Im working on an older one, experiencing a long wave frequency from 35-65mph, fades (or modulates with surrounding frequencies, idk) at 70mph and gets smooth. To me, it seems going faster is like tuning up on a guitar string, it has a wabble overtone until it "locks in" tune with the other strings... curious. I will make a vid if the new steering box, ball joints, and tie rods fixes it. Happy Day Sir🚂🎼🌹🎵🎶🛠🔥 ~C< 3)>>-Z->}
