What's up poeple of the internet! A large amount of you all wanted me to make a video on how to do the line design I did to my gaming room and now I have made a how to video on it! I used to paint with my dad during the summer for work. I can confirm that frogtape is much better quality than a lot of masking tapes out there

I did this yesterday. I wish I could share the picture. I used m3 platinum tape because it's plastic and doesn't bleed so I skipped the blow drying step. It turned out cool

If the outline were painted black and each shape a different color it would look like a stained glass window! I love your idea and think the neutral & white is pretty neat. 😊
good idea nice job don't listen to negative people you should only care about what appeals to your eyes. It's your taste everyone is different and no one should change their idea on what looks nice to them for anyone as long as you like it that's all that really matters 👍🏼

Done this today, i am very happy to after see the result.
I taped off different shapes like that and painted my kitchen walls different colors in each different shape, when I had a friend come over they said it looked like I was on some kind of acid trip with all those different colors. It didn't last long I painted my kitchen one color then.

I know it took me 2 weeks to tape off and paint my kitchen. And then have someone come in and say something rude to me about the walls, it was annoying 😡
How about just use a palette of let's say 3 to 7 different colors which compliment each other hehe people can be so judgmental sometimes.. It's your kitchen at the end anyway xD

Try putting your phone in a ziplock while spraying. It'll keep it safe from the paint and it's pretty good against water as well.
When I finally get enough money to build a minimalistic transforming apartment, I was thinking I could make an accent wall with this sort of design in a medium green color. Most apartments like this are very white and clean looking so it feels more open. I think it will look good to have something to make it feel less sterile. I was gonna get lots of plants in there too so the green will flow throughout the room.

Again, Love This Video..I tried to do it but failed every time, so I looked for a different solution..instead of using frog tape, I painted the wall with my favorite color ( mint green) and directly after it dried I used Washi tape above the paint..same result and straight lines too 😉 I made on a piece of paper, line patterns ahead so I'd know how my line should be..thank you for the inspiration you shared 😊

its bleeding because you're putting it on thick . If you're using a spray gun , just do a series of dusting coats until you get a solid , even coat .
Great ! But I don't understand the white coat you painted over the stripes : I don't see it as a pre-coat to the beige layer… So I'm wondering…

I love this idea
I paint lines all the time. The trick to no bleeding is to paint over the tape with faux glaze. Creates a seal and boom no bleeding. No blow dryer, no wasting paint.

Actually frog tape is activated with water. It's made with the same powder used in diapers and panty liners, which can be activated by going over it with a damp cloth. The powder will expand and fill cracks or irregularities in the wall texture to keep the lines crisp. I've actually talked to a sales representative. - but the wall looks great, very creative

If you spray the tape with a clear coat such as a lacquer, it guarantees a sharp line every time.
