Love these ideas. I have a cathedral ceiling in my living room so 1 large wall I had no idea what to do with it. I bought a white shower curtain off of Amazon with a floral watercolor design on it, got the wood to make the frame & it’s perfect. Every time I tell someone it’s a shower curtain they are shocked!!
Im an artist. Well done. Im doing each one of these. You have inspired me. Which is not easy to do. At 51 i feel like my best creativity days are behind me ! Nothing worse than feeling like you have to do something creative as it is not art unless it came from the heart and soul. Especially the art you make for your home and you will see daily.
Oh honey, you're not getting older you're getting wiser, more mature, more able to love yourself, more kind, more patient, more introspective, more trusting of your own instincts....more YOU ! I'm almost 62 and trust me when I say, some of your highest creativity days are yet to come. Let your imagination & your spirit soar, you'll create so much beauty, just trust that it's all there inside you, waiting to be expressed. Go wild and do what inspires you.
My goodness! These were all so impressive. You are certainly a very creative, talented woman. And I have to say, I love your energy. Life has been very difficult lately and I am so incredibly stressed about finances but I was able to just tune in and watch your video without thinking about all my worries. Thank you for that. 💖
You have so much energy!!!! It is so nice to have your husband to help you when you need him. I really loved your fringed hangings, both if them. you have such a good eye!! Pauline--Kansas
Really really enjoyed watching all of these. The yellow curtain in the frame is still one of my favorite things I've ever seen Liz do. And can I just say I am not the biggest fan of a lot of these contemporary aesthetic pieces but somehow she makes me really like them! And want to make stuff! One of her super powers! Thanks for the beautiful ideas.
I think the wood and black painted boards over your couch is my fav 🙂, but all are great ideas. Thank you Liz for sharing your ideas. I needed some inspiration!
You are truly an artist. I'm on bed rest for awhile and decided to catch up on watching videos on crafting after taking a 10- month break. I CAN'T STOP WATCHING YOUR VIDS ...YOU ARE AMAZING. Thank you for sharing your talent with the World. Ok, time to get back to watching your video.
You are a creative angel young lady! It never ceases to amaze me how talented some like yourself are, and very inspirational! An Aussie grandma who just discovered RUclips! Gosh I wish you lived next door!♥️👍👵🇦🇺
These ideas are really cool! I've been looking for a way to fill a large blank wall in my bedroom and these have definitely inspired me Can I make a suggestion though? Since this video is so long and has so many different ideas, it would be nice if you included time stamps or chapters that make it easier to navigate
Hi Liz, I usually don't comment like..... It just kept coming to Me to share with You, to please wear steel toed shoes or boots when using such equipment, meterial, etc. Well because I Love and appreciate You and Your sharing with Me and many many many others! I know You do things safe already! I see You standing away from the equipment, but I keep get a strong sense to share with You that idea of safety! I prayerfully hope that You take it the way I share it! Safety first! Love and Hugs to you! GOD'S BLEESINGS🙏🏻✝️☮❤
I am very impressed with the quality & quantity of your projects. My fave was the stretched tapestry but loved the inspiration quotes, the Pottery Barn dupe & dyed macrame hanging. Mostly I am impressed how lovely u look in all the videos. Makeup is fab! Clothes & hair amazing! Wow to u!
I will share advice for slat wall art. If money is even tighter, bed slats can be found for free online or for a couple bucks and the same - from the thrift store. It also pays off to walk or drive around your town on the evening before the trash pickup day, people will sometimes leave bed parts, including slats, by the curb. I really love how your wall tapestry art turned out ♥ You have such great creative ideas. Thank you for sharing them with us ♥
You could have connected the circles faster using the leather cord clips from the Wool Macrame project. They can probably be carefully trimmed to size if they are too wide.
I loved the way that timber panel turned out too. All is very nice. This Australian wishes all of you a wonderful New year. Love for the best things in life and in your wishes this year too. God Bless
Great ideas! My favorite was I think the most expensive with 3 $20 Ikea frames. But so many were really fun. The wood slat wall art with black/maple tint was great too. Could work as a table top with a glossy resin finish. Great work! Thanks very much!
You’re amazing and I found you right on time! I recently moved to Arizona and was struggling with ideas to decorate, inexpensively and being an advent of DIYs, nothing I found was exciting and affordable as your ideas. I’m now an happy subscriber and looking forward to some more amazing ideas/creations. Thank you sooooo much, for saving my sanity. 🤗
I’m in AZ also. Just remember that dust never goes away, no matter how often you dust and how good your HVAC is. Some of these ideas are just big ol allergy magnets if you live here.
I like all the projects, but the half circle wall hanging I will defintely make for my bedroom. Tip for cutting yarn like this straigt: place a long ruler or wood board over it and cut along the edge with a circle cutter (the kind made for fabric, used in patchwork). It works perfectly, effortlessly and is absolutely straight.
Oh my goodness!!!I am in awe! You are so creative! It’s 1:30 am and I couldn’t stop watching to go to bed! So inspirational! Goodnight! I hope I can dream up some things to use to make some of these! 😀
Well Liz you & your videos have keep me up all night. Need some sleep! 😴 Looking forward to some new ideas & great videos in 2023. Happy new year! Char 💜
On the connecting hoops- maybe use zip ties and then cover it with rope. It would go faster because the rope is for decor, not as fasteners. I'm reactive to that rope so I might have used a cotton macrame rope or yarn. Ribbon or fabric could also be used to fasten them.
i cannot pick just one favorite, great job! I luv the white ribbon around mirror, 4 color wood arrow pattern, the tapestry on frame, the 3 cabinet doors with waves, that last ring one,
I loved all of your projects! You are truly creative. I even liked the plastic "glass" that you took out of the ikea frame after it had splashes of blue and black on it. It looked like an awesome abstract!
Tape both sides of you boards with masking or painters tape where you're going to cut. Most times it'll stop the splitting when you're cutting. I use a Japanese draw saw to cut small boards because I don't have a chop saw. It Def works with a hand saw.
I love the Tree tapestry one, it's so beautiful! I also like the half circle with the yarn hanging from the bottom, with the lavender yarn on the outer edges, and the one with the 30 slats of wood partially stained and partially with black paint, the project that you put above the couch! The last one that I really like is with the long picture frame that you picked up at the thrift store I believe, for $8.00, with the nice white mat, that you finished off with a really cool piece of see through material! 💕
I am 100% going to make several of these. I was stunned by the simplicity and beauty of the blue waves on the poster board. I’m going to try it on canvas.
Omgoodness Liz as always you never disappoint! I absolutely loved them all! I’m not sure which ones I will recreate. I’m going to share this video with my daughter because I will making things for her to hang on her own walls. Omgoodness I loved this video.
My fave part of the day, "opening Toni's advent calendar" :)) I really appreciate all the hard work you are doing to make these daily vlogs. Between your work, family and just every day stuff, you still find time to fullfil your promise of a daily vlogmass. I for one am so glad you are. You are bringing so much joy to many Toni. I believe your dream for next years tree will come true, and I for one can't wait to see what you pull out next year! lol As always, stay safe and take care, Maddie xx :))
Hello! I just discovered your channel and really love the simplicity and the motivational factor! I do agree with Anita C’s comment. I would love it if you spent a little more time just showing the finished piece after (or even before and after) each creation segment. My mind processes a bit slowly and needs time to take it in. What would be ideal (for me, at least) would be to see still shots on Instagram. I didn’t look to see if you have an IG account, but I will! Thanks again for sharing so much great creativity and inexpensive ideas!
Wow!!! I'm so happy you did this for us. I'm doing the first one with the exact same color. Any thing without a saw I can do...lol Edit: it's GORGEOUS With the scrims it looks like southwestern art. Love them all.
I loved the bathroom board, the different stain board, the giant piece of blue art, and the rings minus the fabric… the rings looked amazing up until the scarf. You make really good stuff though!!!! I really enjoyed your video!!! Had me hooked and I wasn’t even looking for a DYI today!!!
I like to use or convert, fluorescent light boxes, or large old dresser draws, old window w/screen from the re-store. I paint, sometimes sand the paint off of the light boxes, using a circle sander, to create as overlapping round scratch pattern in the bare metal, than whip away the dust and spray paint it with polyurethane to keep it shiny. I attach glass using hinges, creating a door to open and close(the window, light cover or a window or 2 that covers the draws.). I've used many method to create hooks/pegs inside the boxes, with the window screen, I do a bit of wire bending to create hooks that attach to the screen. In the boxes, I've used bolts that don't have threads nearest the head and cut off the excess threads (only need enough for 2 nuts on either side of the acknowledge of the box. I use the above to use my jewelry as art, when I'm not wearing it. So you could say, my home wears my jewelry more than I do. 😅 my real expensive pieces go in the safe, after I lost 2 pearl necklaces and 2 'friends'... but that could have happened with a jewelry box anyway. And a wear jewelry much less after my parrots started to steal my earing and one collapsed my wedding ring on my finger, which had to be cut off.
Wow! I really enjoyed watching this , you are so creative! The blue waves are so effective , but they were all pretty amazing. You have inspired me to do a macrame wall hanging of some sort. ☺☺☺💗💗💗
Love your projects so much. There are so many of them I want to try. But, where is the PDF link to the 3 inspirational wall art pages? I loved that project and I would like to try it. Thank you!

@Lisa Maquire I'd love to see a picture of that. 😍
I love the yarn tassels wall hanging. The wood slats that are stained and painted black look like skyline❤️ and the framed tapestry is my favorite.

I absolutely LOVE the framed tapestry. It is beautiful!!
Not a tapestry, just a digital print
I love the drywall art. And the rope circles with the scarf pieces. You have quite an imagination! Love your ideas.
Thanks Liz. The motivational pieces and the slats are my favorites! The slat piece is reminiscent of a skyline.
Nice! Unbelievable amount of inspiration here. Appreciate all the work that must have gone into this!
Well done. My favorites are the shower curtain and the framed and matted fabric. And the floral art. Doggonit, it's hard to pick just one favorite.

I'm so glad you love it, Staci Hartman. Have fun watching! 💕
Muy buenas y variadas ideas, y de cada una surgen otras mas, Srita Liz, muchas gracias 🌷
Tape both sides of you boards with masking or painters tape where you're going to cut. Most times it'll stop the splitting when you're cutting. I use a Japanese draw saw to cut small boards because I don't have a chop saw. It Def works with a hand saw.
Thank goodness

That's great! I wish you all the best on your project, moeka95. 😍

Hello
I loved your video.
I think my favorite was the giant photo created with the shower curtain.
