General Magic, Magic Cap and magicTalk demonstration. January, 1998.

Apple once owned General Magic built by Marc Porat, Andy Hertzfeld and Bill Atkinson. Andy Hertzfeld and Bill Atkinson built the original Macintosh OS. Bill Atkinson built HyperCard. In this video we see Kevin Surace the EVP Products and Services and Mark Campbell of product marketing demonstrating Magic Cap, Serengeti (Portico) and magicTalk at the Internet Showcase in January, 1998.
This system predated just about all of the Voice First platforms and Siri by decades. General Magic lost funding and closed its doors before this could be released.
