Photos app is messy… need a cleaner and simple look. iOS is all about simplicity. This isn’t. This feels suffocating and cluttered. So much customisation makes me feel weird. I like the lock app feature and the Lock Screen customisation but other than that it feels like a lot of work.
So sick of photos app already, absolutely no organisation and the layout is screwed up and what the heck is the not full screen image until you click it, oh also try and pause a video in photos 🤣
Another great use for notes is the ability to make a “tape” of old records and have them sent to your phone via WhatsApp and then you can store them in notes for when you want to listen to something and don’t have internet access to use Apple Music
Thank you for showing me that on the lock screen you can get rid of the camera and flashlight and have nothing at the bottom. I'll be more than happy to get rid of them.
This is messed up how come the iPhone has a stable photo app for iOS 18 and how come on the iPad it keeps jumping around on iPadOS 18 they should make the iPadOS more stable just like iOS. Not to mention, I use voiceover on the iPhone. It works fine, on the iPad, It keeps jumping around and keeps pushing me back-and-forth skipping around. When I am trying to customize the Photos app in the customize settings option

Hi Aaron, DO you know if the new password app (OS 18) will allow a user to import passwords and passkeys directly from a password manager (like Dashlane for instance) into the new OS password manager app?
In regards to the Control Center, has it been anyone else's experience [on any of the DBs or PB1] of the Control Center being incredibly glitchy? It's one of the biggest new things with iOS 18 and I can barely interact with it. Icons refuse to go where I want them to go. When I expand an icon to make it into a Widget it never stays as that size and it always just reverts back to the original size. It's Beta software and there will be bugs, I understand, but I'm not hearing anyone talk about how atm the Control Center is super glitchy (unless I am just extremely unlucky and I'm the only one it's happening to).

No one talks about, but we have to give kudos to the new function where you can go the Camera settings and enable background music playing not to be interrupted when you record a video. 🎉
I’m wondering if anyone is having issues with appearances changing from light to dark mode. I have it automatically set to change from dark mode to light mode at 7:30am and it’s defiantly not happening.
My IPhone 14 pro max is only 6 months old. And my latest problem is my message app is freezing up on me. I click on messages and it’s a blank screen. It also intermittently doesn’t let me send or receive text messages. And when I’m able to send a message it typically takes 10 minutes for it to actually send. And it’s not able to send it as a iMessage and it automatically changes to a traditional text message. I’m very disappointed with Apple not to mention all the other problems it has such as keyboard issues it still usually repeats the same word automatically as I’m texting a message. Apple has become a nightmare for me. They have Zero quality control.
You are using an openly known beta build… you are going to issues. It’s good to put your issues out there but ragging on a company while using a beta is weird.

Hi Aaron, you don't have to hide your IP address with your thumb. It's a private IPv4 address, meaning its local to your home and the Internet cannot find your location with it.
Yesterday I wanted to try the iOS 18 public beta 1 version again and I see that it still has the same problem, the GPS like Google maps, Waze maps, Apple more, freezes when I'm using it in CarPlay, for the GPS to work, I have to have the iPhone on using the GPS at the same time.. I don't know but today I'll go back to the iOS version 17.6 beta 4 and if I know, it's beta..

If you go to select a widget, scroll to the bottom till you get to the Weather widget, and select it, and then swipe it to the right, that should bring up the one you're looking for. You just select that one.
Great video, just a couple of big questions. My Wi-Fi already rotates the private IP address occasionally and if the device changes its IP address, will it conflict with my present Wi-Fi and if this rotation occurs between sending and receiving a message, is that message going to find your device. PS I’m running 18 on my gym then tablet it runs fairly well, but the assessability has a lot above no single tap gesture 123 or four fingers will do anything sent this to Apple. Hopefully they’ll do as much work on the assessability side as they have on you features because I’ve been running with a lot of broken features all the way back to iOS 16 and iPadOS 16.d
Math notes "sums" up Apple. They provide a wonderful feature and yet don't bother to give us a numbers row or at least the option of one on the keyboard, crippling it.
Photos app and the control centre look extremely ugly now. The control centre is way worse and uglier except for shortcuts and the customisation options. Why the hell is there a permanent plus and power button along with a blue volume icon, yellow brightness icon and colourful music widget depending on what song you're listening to? Along with the smaller and rounder icons and the stupid dots on the right side it completely ruins the look of the control centre. I also hate the animation where when you swipe down the control centre gets small. In the Photos app my favourites are only accessible by swiping right after selecting it as an option. I cannot view it in my albums anymore. It looks extremely ugly as well hello

Why apple cannot show company name on contact list This is a basic feature if I have 2 same names I have to go inside the contact to see which is the contact These are minute things apple is bringing so many customization but not this minute thing

I’m on a 14 pro max iOS 18 public beta coming from 17.4 and it is still so buggy and feels laggy. I don’t recommend updating to iOS 18.
Same here.. I can see frame drops when swiping the screen🫥 and the battery is worse.

One of my favorite features is RCS support. I like how I can send somebody a message and they will see it. I think it’s pretty awesome.

Lovely…. They come with lots of features… however, they enable SYNC ANNIVERSARY DATES FROM CONTACT TO CALENDER just like Birthdays.

Go to settings, then display and brightness. Then toggle on the automatic option. Done
Don't forget, you can rotate your watch's address too (at least on watchOS 11.0).

Again you seem to be ignoring iPad OS 18 public beta. Not everyone who subscribes to your channel is willing to risk a public beta on their phone
