Oh heck yes!!!!! Not enough people appreciate Hank III! I saw him in concert and he did 2 hours of country and then an 2 hours of fuzz rock and other rock styles.
Nothing worse than thinking you've found the one, only to have them go off with someone else. Of course they still want to be friends. So you can die a little inside every time you see them with someone else. Some hurt never goes away.
Oh ya!! This is a very good one!! I love this song! You been gettin into Hank 3 it seems? You have played a number of his songs. Fine by me! Can't go wrong with him!
Morning Don, another great song by Hank III. He does sound so much like his grandpa it is eery. I took the 5 shots to represent the stages of depression you go through when you lose someone. However, that is just me and not really represented in the song, A lot of words could be use to describe this song but 'soporific' would not be one of them. Thanx again for what you do and thank you Stashboys for this request!

Perfect slow waltz'n song...a little dark, but the tempo is just right. I'm guessing the reason for five shots is that's about the number the average man needs to get buzzed. After all, he's not there for sippin, he's there to self-medicate.
@David Emswiler Five shots back in the day would have been a nice buzz (Kamikazes were our go-to shots, JD & Coke our constant sipping drink), now those shots would destroy me!
Hey Don I like the start of this one 2 and I like it 💯 sounds like a old day loving the Dobro or steel guitar sound, great words plain old good country music sounds to me.🆗 On your reaction and rating I agree 💯
Hey everyone. I'll admit, up to this point, I've not been a Hank III fan. I'm a HUGE Jr. fan. I think III's voice is more in that register with his granddad's than his Dad's. I enjoyed this song. I like the Cajun feel with the squeeze box, dobro, fiddle and upright bass. Yeah Man! Thanks, Don.
@Pamita Hathorne I wear a medium, especially in long sleeves. Short sleeves are fickle and I'm not a huge of them, but I have some I wear in the summer. Thanks for asking!

He really does have an amazing voice. Love
The music. The dobro and steel with the fiddle....perfect with this song. Damn you can feel it.
Painful in a good kinda way.
Love that shirt dude.
Such a good song sound like his grandpa thanks

@Mike Barnett Good call on the energy of the song preventing sleep!
@@RockN2Country Although the 5 shots of whiskey maybe.
Great dobro sounds
Great shirt dude.
I have never heard this song before.
Five shots get me bail money, my grandpa said always stand your ground, but the law don't like that much. Another jail visit today. Be safe .. HAKAD
@dan sigurdson Hopefully not many visits left for you, but glad you stopped in so we knew where you were/are. :-)

I'll piss some off, I know, but Sheldon sounds like Hank more than Bocephus ever could. Looks like real talent skipped a generation. III for life!!!

I think you would really enjoy Ronnie Milsap’s “I’m having say dreams about night things.” I’d surely enjoy a review on it
He sings more like his grandpa.
Hey man. You should do a reaction to “parole board” by Junior Brown. You’ll like it!! Junior never disappoints.
I’m 99% certain this is his song.
Yes it is Hank 3's song
Do you wear a large in shirts?
How tall are you?

@@RockN2Country how tall sir? You appear to be larger than my husband (6’3) & my son (6’6).
@@pamitahathorne4161 They are definitely bigger than me. I'm 6'1.
Stay on the Hank3 train. The song "5" is depressingly good.
