Today's update on my health chase! Paper work sent! :) Apr 25th,2024!

So the paperwork I opened pandora's box for has now finally paid off! Dr and I between 1 phone call and 1 in person visit has been completed and SENT!
Thus bringing an end finally to a terribly reign of my pain and health solution chase! Nobody told me that my arthritis condition and the 2 types I have were part of the some mosr approvable conditions for the Disability Tax Credit, so for the last 10 yrs I have been going around in circles in the same terrible cycle, where I can only get limited care that my health conditions are needing. Physiotherapy in ontario only offers 12 covered sessions through the Provincial healthcare plan and then you have to pay, does nobody eith long term conditions that require physio for life. As just when you start seeing progress and begin to feel better they cut you off!
So I have had to pay for yoga, restorative Yoga, and gym or community center memberships and even at one time live in a YMCA for about 2 yrs to have access to the classes I need to care for my health needs, needless to say it was very frustrating when Covid hit, as I could not do these things anymore while living in the Y, and my room space was so small and tight it just stiffened me right back up and put me back in that vicious painful, crippling, moving around, and restless painful sleeping night cycle all over again!
I was able to happily move to Gatineau Quebec towards the end of 2020... AFTER I FINISHED writing the First Draft of The T.V. Show Smallville Movie! It was the BEST and most productive thing that came out of living there that year while in lock down during Covid, it forced me to give up on my desired dream and outcome of having Tom and others who played major parts of the show write a sensational movie with me! So in the end I can take pride and joy of all my own work and that's not a terribly bad thing!
But back to health issues, I learned quebec offers FREE community services with their city wide communit card, including access to canoes and free swimming and ice skating, BUT there is a time limit on access to the events you are booking in to enjoy, like 30 minutes of lap swimming, when you are a 2 hour swim masterclass swimmer.... :/ well you can foresee that's not going to work for a pro swimmer just trying to keep their peak condition in shape!
So though I had access to more things I could do, my tiny 2 bdrm apt was still to small for me and where my life should have been with the already completed trilogy and 2nd movie to the You've Got Mail series, so the aches and pains and difficult sleeps just continued on!
Not ONCE did a Dr, or specialist of any kind tell me I could apply for this funding so I could get the orthopedic shoes and other aids like back support and all the health care treatments I need to pay for and meds that I constantly run out of money to keep paid! I didn't know my conditions qualified for it, so I never bothered to read through the information and learn more about it!
Ergo fast forward to 2024, and I can now leap with a joy a little that at 49 without having to suffer another 5 or 10 yrs without knowledge or benefit of this that there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
So I will move forward with my next set of plans in dealing with my health and keeping active and working on building my charater for the Baker's Dozen Movie coming with gaining all the right additonal and complementary training and experience to make this role I play believable with real lived experience and what will surely be one of my most enjoyable moments in life as a writer and Actress and musician waiting her whole darn life for that ONE PERFECT ROLE and ONE PERFECT Moment in Movie making History co-starring in something with Steve Martin, Eugene Levie and Tom Welling!
