GK at code was always the start to a great weekend followed by Sundissential at sanctuary on a Saturday my weekends for many a year! Amazing memories
those were the days!! warm up at bakers, down to gods til 6am.
Saturdays same deal but them insomniacz was on straight after sunny D for a while so on to that til midday sunday....proper mullered!
I wish I was born 20 years earlier. This era of music is all I listen to.
@Mr Potato - mate, I can promise you it was epic. Code, gatecrasher, festivals, egg nightclub etc etc. It was a truly amazing time to be pulled off your nut just loving the music and people enjoying it to the early hours. Maybe it will return before it's to late for you!! Fingers crossed my friend and keep listening. This stuff is pure and never will it be forgotten. Good luck pal 👍🏼
I was born in 1989. First time I heard this music was at a black out party with glow sticks. We have a bunch of classic sets and once a year we stay up all night in the pitch black with glow sticks and listen to all the best sets. Our Friend’s Uncle showed us the true pure way. Maybe one day it will be back in the clubs just like this. ❤

Mate, it was peak life at this time… absolutely unreal EVERY week.
I was born in 79, so this was my era of raving. It was great-GC, Gods, Cream, Slinky, the gallery, and great festivals; Ibiza was great then as well. It was based on the innocence of no accessible internet, though. It was killed off when the information age truly began, and we moved our lives online. We didn't know as much about the world - and we lived in the moment; a lot of the division that dominates society now is fuelled by the internet. Do you know how much we talked about politics, wars and social justice in the 90s & 00s? We didn't. We had one preoccupation - hedonism.
The sound system in Code was by an absolute country mile the best I've ever heard / experienced. Life changing.
Just wish I could go back 20 years 👨🏼🦳 Gods at code was something else !!
Just remember to teach your children about how great these times were !

Was there NYE 2000 into 2001! Can’t believe it’s been 20 years! What a night, will never forget it. One of the best clubs in the country. Thanks GK
Gods was never the same when Code became Air... the refurbished main room had too low ceiling and it lost all the vibe of the original factory/warehouse setting of Code. All for the sake of making a bit of extra coin by having multiple rooms and a VIP lounge.
Brings a tear to my eye!
This is pure trance music anything that came before or after the 98-04 era is few and far between.
