the comparison that i need, im upgrading to a higher processor with rx5600xt, im thinking that maybe the ryzen 5 2600 is enough. then this video came, turns out the 2600 is enough for rz5600xt. i just wished there is red dead redemption 2 in here or genshin and god of war. thank for the vid

Yes, it's gpu bottlenecked. But remember this test was done when the ryzen 5600 first dropped its price and newer gpus were very expensive due to shortage and gpu mining. There were a lot of ryzen 2600 users back then who are using previous gen/older gpus. This test shows if its worth upgrading to a 5600 from a 2600 even when using a weaker gpu. @@CL-jq1xs as the CPU is bottlenecking the GPU, the benchmarks here serve no real purpose of comparison between 2 GPU (which is the whole point of a benchmark), as the result is inherently biased.

Even at this time, it's a very worthwhile experiment for gamers looking to buy low- to mid-range parts used.
This is a gpu benchmark bot a cpu, in most of the games gpu was on 99% so it was slowing down the cpu
CSGO is relevant tho. It's very heavy on the CPU and does not care much about the GPU.

дружище, у тебя в большинстве игр система упирается в видеокарту.. Как так можно снимать сравнение процессоров??

A lot of footage here is GPU bottlenecked, which is not ideal since we are comparing the performance of CPUs.

how is it possible to get lower temp on higher cpu series? :D iam thinking to change my 2600 to 5600 too
The 2600 uses the stock cooler, that's why temp is higher.

Yes, that's the point of this comparison. If there is a big gap on games when the system is gpu bound.
The test doesn’t work if the GPU is the bottleneck. You aren’t maximizing either CPU if the GPU is the weak link.
no, 2600 is bottleneck to this gpu not 5600 hahahah did u watch the video, 2600 cant boost gpu to 99%, for 5600 its easy
