Yeah. I would probably have shorter charging time, but I made a mistake on the 2nd stop. And maybe overcharged slightly as well

It's been a while since a "race" head to head. All down to charging strategy 🙃
Yeah, today it ended on charging strategy. But if we should drive 100-0% SOC then I would definitely come much longer than the EX30.
Why Volvo app is showing much higher energy consumption than trip computer on the same trip?
Good race vido. if you had chosen the right charger for the c40n at the last charging stop, it would have won by several more minutes, even the charingtime. I will alwys choise the C40
Yeah, definitely. Lost a couple of minutes on that charging session. And with moving the car and such.
Interesting video, but why again opt for the most expensive Twin versions?
The Single Engine Extended Range versions are by far the most sold and are therefore more representative.
It's in Norway, in Norway almost everyone buys 4wd if given the option
first it is in Norway ...and they can only use what they are given by the dealers to try - so they would have done their best for 2 similar spec vehicles
Well.. you say the Single Motor Extended Range are most sold.. Maybe in your country. But not here in Norway. And we both are borrowing cars from Volvo Car Norway. Yes they probably have single Motor options available, but in this round we both had borrowed a Twin version.. Furthermore.. both our cars here are primarily Single Motor when we don't "need" the front motor... And price aren't relevant for a general range comparison battle.

Doubtful.. I was slightly unfortunate with my charging sessions. So I should arrive even earlier if I had managed to follow my initial plan

@BombArieNL No. This test took 7 hours.. The potential benefit the EX30 would have wouldn't beat the bigger battery and faster charging of the C40.
