Thanks another useful video on the EX30. Would be great to see how ADAS work in urban roads (to assist and avoid collisions with other cars and people and how safe are they)

Thanks. My delivery is also in a few weeks here in Germany. This feature was promised on my XC40 P8 and never arrived, even though I paid for it, so happy that it is already implemented in the EX30 to support my wife when she needs to park.

What i notice is that the car does not activate the turning signals automatically when parking in the spot. he did it when leaving the spot. Bug?
In Sweden you don't blink when parking parallel, but you have to when parked at the roadside. It's simply following Swedish law.
I just discovered your channel, you're doing great at showing the "real life" functions of this car instead of the generic range and speed specs that almost all "review" channels talk about. Can I ask what happened at around 3:00? You were trying to put it in reverse and something went different than expected, but you didn't finish your sentence. I haven't driven the EX30 yet so I'm looking for things to check when I get a chance
Thanks :) Yeah, at that point I tried to put in reverse before the car had come to a complete stop, something that works in many cars but not in the EX30.

Very similar to the BMW assist except that it does not use the indicator when parallel parking.
Please do a review of the buttons on the steering wheel

What about in a box garage in apartments buildings? i have a tight garage and would love to have a car which parks by itself
ALL parking systems work on the 2 adjoining cars being parked perfectly in the lines for your car to park perfectly in your lines otherwise it just parks Evelyn between the 2. My BMW 7 series did the same
The parallel park space was generous. Try a tighter one?
Problems:
While parallel parking it does not put right indicator on to tell the car is going to reverse and taking the slot next to it.
Another is parking on the line. Wheels are on top of the "line", and here in Finland you would get a parking fine.
So Volvo did not do great job.

Is there also remote parking available (Key or App) from the outside of the car on really tight spots where you can barely open the doors after maneuvering into the slot?
No, you have to sit inside the car

Several OTAs already. When I test drove one a few weeks ago the software was on 1.0

I have no issues parking my car, and I want my brain and motor skills to stay intact.
I would do it manually even if my car had this feature.
It’s park pilot assist, not park assist and it’s only on ultra not plus. So only on top range
Can anyone help? Got my ex30 today, tried to use park assist. Pressed the camera drove slowly but nothing. What am I doing wrong.?

Wish you didn't have to go hunting through the UI to initiate that. Also coming out of the parking was so slow .... all the drivers in San Francisco would have a melt down if they had to wait for that

can't wait to be waiting for a person can't park take 3 mins to park a car a person can do in 15 seconds.
😂 I know people who will take hours if reverse or parallel parking is involved
