Trefl 13500 Jigsaw Puzzle | The Journey of Thousand Miles | Unboxing

How was Trefl able to make a jigsaw puzzle with 13.5K pieces?

We still have to start this puzzle as we have tons of puzzles. All of the bags have edge pieces which you can remove to put the whole thing together. I'm guessing this is a custom puzzlecut as the pieces are really small.
