my theory is, as you collect a schimdt puzzle, you can add a comparable image (alice to alice or snow white to snow white, etc) made by ceaco to your sell/give away pile. then you can slowly shift your collection instead of growing a second one
Hi Mandy, we loved your video on the Schmidt brand of puzzles. They are in our opinion running in competition with Ravensburger but are of a superior quality. The image is crisp and the pieces melded together beautifully. So glad you had a great experience with yours. Sending warm wishes from Australia. Mark+Chris😄😎
From my experience so far with Ravensburger, I think Schmidt tops it. I'm actually thinking about working on both brands and doing a comparison video. We shall see! Hope all is well with the both of you 🤗🤗
I've done loads of Schmidt puzzles, and I usually cut a tiny hole in the corner of the bag, and shake out most of the puzzle dust. The pieces are such good quality that they don't get damaged. I'm always safe buying a Schmidt. Even dark and difficult images are doable in my opinion, plus the print are always good.
I feel like I've been waiting forever for your Schmidt review. Yeah, it' finally there!! 🎉 😊 I'm so glad you like the brand because I recommended it to you too. It's definitely my favorite brand too. All Schmidt puzzles with the "Premium Quality" label should be of equally good quality. It's the most recent collection, I think. If you ever find a used Schmidt puzzle without that label and with a different box design, it's probably older. You made me laugh out loud. I hope you don't mind me saying this, but please take a closer look at the back of the box. The English translation is headed by "GB" (Great Britain?!). But your translation was pretty accurate.
This is too hilarious!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Now I'm slapping myself on the head like "Hello, anyone home?" Obviously my brain is not capable of catching things like that in the mass jumble of sentences LMAO! I had to make a note in the video description pointing out my silliness. Thank you for bringing this to my attention 😝
I know that you realised it yourself. But you made me smile. Looking for an english description at the box, and it's right there. It's screaming at you - I'm here :D Happened to me too, one time. There are just to many languages.
What cracks me up even more is that I didn't even see it whilst editing the clips for the video 😝 Too many languages and small print got my brain going blank. Probably instead of building a Schmidt collection, I should invest in much better eyeglasses 🤣🤣🤣
Yes! You finally put a Schmidt puzzle together. I loved watching your video. And I absolutely love this brand. For their Disney images but also for their other various images. The pieces are really of great quality. Unfortunately, the downside is that these puzzles are a little more expensive but luckly, in the Netherlands, they are on sale often. And every time I put together a Schmidt puzzle it feels like a small puzzle party 🤭 Every Schmidt puzzle I have done so far has the same great quality. It was fun watching you discovering this brand. I felt the same exitement when I did my first Schmidt puzzle 😅 Looking forward to your next video, enjoy your day and happy puzzeling. Greetings from the Netherlands.
So happy you enjoyed the video! This truly was an awesome experience, and I can't wait to work on more of their sets. And to hear that all the puzzles you've done have had the same great quality makes me even more excited about it. Sounds like it's definitely a brand worth collecting!
Thank you for making me laugh ("my hair is looking crazy"). Love your reviews, lots of great info and you are a star. Never heard of Schmidt! After your last haul video, I couldn't resist and found another Laurence King - The World of the Tudors. Cannot wait to work on it.
Oh thank you so much 🤗Happy to hear that my craziness makes you laugh lol. Speaking of the Laurence King sets, I'm so tempted to start my Dracula already. It just might jump ahead all the puzzles I had planned before it 😂It's just so fancy looking.
You remarked how you didn’t want the Schmidt experience to end. There are 6000 count Kinkade Disney sets from Schmidt, one of them Alice in Wonderland. A cursory search makes me believe that these are not available in the USA. Here in Scandinavia they go for, give or take, carry the one, 85 USD. There is also has a 3000 set with Beauty and the Beast 🙂🧩🧩
Oh wow, I'm going to have to look into these much bigger sets. I think I'd be willing to pay that much for a Schmidt count that big too. I'd be curious is the quality/experience is any different from the smaller count sets. Thank you for the info!
I ave done a few of these Schmidt Disney puzzles and really enjoyed them. I have even more in my to do stash! 😂 The images can sometimes be a bit dark but they are so beautiful when put together.
They are absolutely fantastic. I wish I could find them in my higher end stores out here. But probably it's for the best as I know I would constantly pick one up lol.
Since you loved the Schmidt puzzle so much, your next stop should be a jigsaw from the Dutch company Jumbo Games, specifically a puzzle from their Falcon line. Falcon was originally a British brand, and I think their sets would be right up your alley. I haven’t yet found a bad Jumbo.
I've never done a Schimdt puzzle before, but looking at this one, it's tempting! (When you finally make it back to DLR, don't forget to get on the Alice ride! It's one of my favorites!! Barbara
Amazon has recently put out a lot more sets, not just Disney ones too, so there's more variety. I'm not sure how long that stock will last but you should check it out if you're looking into trying a Schmidt soon. As for DLR, the Alice ride is definitely on the top of my list. Hoping I can get out there soon.
I had the exact same experience completing my first Schmidt puzzle a few weeks ago. I will definitely be adding more to my collection. Bye bye Ceaco! Between the Schmidt and Ravensburger Disney collections who needs the poor quality brand! 😆
Oh yes, I don't think I'll be buying anymore Ceaco sets with Disney TK. Considering Schmidt has it all, I feel like I should save that money and put it towards getting a much better quality and experience.
You will need to meaaure a few more Schmidt puzzle piece thicknesses to confirm they don't have piece thicknesses inconsistency. ...and continue beating Ravensburger. BTW, I've never done a Schmidt, but would love to.
Great point! I'll make sure to do that for my next Schmidt. I'm actually considering doing a comparison video between Ravensburger and Schmidt, so that'd be interesting.
Alice in Wonderland is my very favorite! I haven’t done Schmidt but I have this same image by TK in the Ceaco brand. I haven’t done it yet but I wish I had it in Schmidt. Great video!!
This image is fantastic, and I'm sure you'll still enjoy piecing it together with Ceaco. But I'm definitely going to aim to pick up the other Disney TK sets from Schmidt.
I believe that Schmidt does not have the licensing rights for Thomas Kinkade images in North America so you'll have to get them through a European retailer. Your best bet is Amazon UK. I just had a look and their prices seem quite reasonable.
If you want to restart to learn German - I think you have multiple nativ german speakers at your discord. So if you want to continue - happy to help/speak
I enjoy Kinkade puzzles too, but the Ceaco print being blurry definitely makes for a challenging experience. I've never even heard of Schmidt Puzzles before, but the print on this looks gorgeous! Adding to my list to try at some point!
Definitely give it a try. I'm hoping I get the same results with my next Kincaid Schmidt puzzle. So far, I'm hearing that the quality is very consistent, so that's very promising.
Yes! Sometimes I wonder how I used to manage puzzling without sorting at all. Just staring down a big pile of pieces with no sense of where/how to start LOL.
Alice will always be my favorite character, the struggle i had being a kid navigating an adult world while trying to hold on to my imagination and sense of wonder caused a lot of problems for me, now the ones who tried to kill who i was are miserable adults and i still kept my sense of wonder 😇 life is fun and beautiful to me
I still hold on tight to my imagination. You'd go crazy in this world if you didn't really. You're a beast for not letting anyone take you down 💪We should never let anyone steal the light from us.
Schmidt is a very good brand equal to Ravensburger. I've done nearly 20 of this brand and never been disappointed. I have just started a Schmidt called Beach Mania by Steve Sundram and I shall thoroughly enjoy doing so.
I just looked up your puzzle, and oh my, there's a lot of hilarious stuff going on there. Looks like a fun challenge! It's really good to hear that their quality seems very consistent. Now you got me thinking about doing a comparison video between Schmidt and Ravensburger. 🤔

Thank you for this suggestion. That would work out great considering I lack the space to house much more.

Enjoyed your review and love your channel. Never built a Schmidt puzzle but I ordered one from Amazon today. Thanks
Awesome, thank you! Hope you enjoy your first Schmidt experience 🤗
Your fantastic! Love watching your videos while
puzzling. Keep up the good work😊
Thank you so much 🤗Happy puzzling!
Maybe collect Schmidt and slowly replace the Cheaco? 🎉😊
Maybe! I definitely don't see the point in collecting any more Disney TK Ceaco since Schmidt seems to carry all the images so far.
I feel like I've been waiting forever for your Schmidt review. Yeah, it' finally there!! 🎉 😊

Yes, Schmidt is a consistently super-quality brand. I get mine from Puzzles Canada 👍
I can't wait to pick up more of these sets. I'm happy to hear the quality seems to be consistent.
I love Schmidt. One of my favourites
It's so good! I can't wait to collect more of them. 🤗

I totally agree - Schmidt is one of my absolute favorite puzzle brands. Its allways great quality.
I'm glad to hear that the quality is consistent. That gives me a lot of positive vibes for my next Schmidt puzzle experience.

🧩🎉🧩🎉🧩🎉🧩🎉🧩yesssssss!!!! I have never solved a Schmidt and those Disney pictures by Thomas Kinkade are so cute🎉🧩🎉🧩🎉🧩🎉🧩
They really are fantastic! I must get more!
I love Schmidt. Unfortunately it is difficult to get many of their best images in North America. I finished one this weekend. Quality is so amazing!
They really are amazing. Definitely not a brand you'd find in just any store around here, I wish though lol. I can't wait to work on my second set.
Schmidt is the best quality puzzle brand in the world. They have the thickest puzzles of all.
Oh absolutely! I love it so much, and thinking about possibly making my 3K count puzzle challenge a Schmidt.
Beautiful puzzle!
This image is perfection 🤩So glad I have another set waiting for me!

I'm excited for you knowing that you have a nice collection of Schmidt puzzles 🤗 I think Disney TK images are perfection.
I so enjoyed my first and only Schmidt ( it’s so hard to find them ) but gold stars from me

Do a WASGIJ? Safari Surprise #31
@@bettyc.6280 I've heard so much about WAGIJ. I really need to pick up a set and try it out.
I had also a great experience with my Schmidt Puzzle.
They are amazing! I'm for sure going to pic up more of their puzzles.

Interesting, I didn't think that could be a possible reason. I'll give Amazon UK a look. Thank you for the suggestion.
I’ve done a Schmidt puzzle by Mike Young and it was lovely quality. I’ve got one in my to do pile.
Schmidt has a great variety of puzzle images that I'd love to pick up at some point. I'm happy that I still have another one in my to do pile.

Oooo, I like that idea! No learning program can beat learning from native speakers 😊
I got Alice in Wonderland Last Wednesday at Walmart, I'm Working on a 1500 Piece, I'm in Intermission Watching You Now Worth Watching Indeed!!!
Good luck on your 1500 pieces set!
You realise that the English version is there on the box, marked GB as in Great Britain?😂😂😂
Yea I know. I had made a note in the video description box right after I had posted the video. I can't help but be so absent-minded at times 🤭
Iv heard that brand is one of the best
It truly is. There's so many images that I've seen from this brand that I must get my hands on somehow.
GB ist for Great Britain and has english description.
Yea...it was brought to my attention 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣I guess my brain just couldn't register it with all the jumble of sentences LMAO!
I own several Schmidt Puzzle, I am living in Germany. Until now they all have this good quality.
I enjoy Kinkade puzzles too, but the Ceaco print being blurry definitely makes for a challenging experience. I've never even heard of Schmidt Puzzles before, but the print on this looks gorgeous! Adding to my list to try at some point!

I've got a Ceaco Beauty and the Beast that looks super hard as well, it's a very dark scene. Wish I had it in the Schmidt brand.
Take a look at puzzles Canada or jigsaw jungle.
Thank you for letting me know!
I am a sorter / re-sorter😃
