I live in a large appartement building and in the lobby we have a thrift shelve. Every now and again a puzzle appears on the shelve, it’s gone for a few weeks/months and the same puzzle reappears. This continues until the puzzle disappears. Who are the puzzlers in my building? I feel no need to find them. We form anonymous community all working on the same puzzle. I really love it!

I avoid things I either know or think are going to take a long time. 9 hours on a jigsaw puzzle seems long.
I have lots of things "on the go" mostly DIYs that I'm waiting on money to buy the rest of the parts or time to gain knowledge.
Books, mostly as I've converted to audiobooks.
      Stitching projects
      Diamond art
      Electronics projects
      Escape Room puzzle creation
      And more...
Flat space not covered by other things is also an issue.
Way too many things happening at the same time.
Maybe my 2025 NY resolution should be to finish some of my oldest UFOs!!

The production values of Karen's videos are very high. I absolutely loved the "creepy" zoom in on her puzzle face with the slight fade to black-and-white. Her photography during the gradient puzzle was superb. Add Karen's technical abilities to her great personality and we, the viewers, have an enchanting combination that makes watching a joy. Now, let me get back to the puzzle on the table next to me.

So i ended up writing them all down on slips of paper and now pull them from a cup to decide which one to do next. The puzzle that was a photo of the string artists work is definitely worth $75, especially if you seal it and use it as artwork for a wall in your room decor. I don't say that about just any puzzle. This one is special as it is a photo of a working artists display piece. It was not one commissioned by a puzzle company, where the company is paying the artists by commission or as an employee.
You would definitely be helping the artist continue his work by paying the higher price for the puzzle, IMO.

The green "Lucky Lady" is definitely the reprint. In 1987, Sheaffer Eaton's corporate parent Textron sold the division. In response, a new company-- Berkshire Stationery Inc.-- was formed and continued to manufacture some of Sheaffer Eaton's products including the jigsaw puzzles. Also, for the Canadians in the audience, the puzzle publisher Eaton was an American company unrelated to the defunct Canadian department store.

    To be read books: yeah....
To be knitted/crocheted yarn (and other crafts): yeah.....
To be puzzled/put together: If I get called out for 1 more thing...... 😂 😂
Then at 29:20 you pulled out the exact puzzle I got from my great grandma a few years ago when I stayed at her place for a couple days (I got the red boxed version). I managed to get the entire puzzle done within 2 days and it was surprisingly difficult for me to complete (then again my grandma didn't have the best lighting in her place at the time, so let's blame that lol) but was enjoyable. But I had to pause the video to laugh. I recently started taking pictures of all the puzzles I've put together, eventually want every puzzle I own done, and 2 days ago I pulled this puzzle out and have it sitting here to put together again. And I literally thought "Hey, it's an Eaton puzzle, I wonder if Karen knows about it" and here we are 😂 Currently working on a wolf puzzle though, might do this one next. Unfortunately part of the box is ripped but all the pieces were there last I knew, and that's the important thing.
Thanks for showing all these puzzles! I have always loved doing puzzles, my great grandma and I used to do puzzles together all the time and I have several fond memories of different puzzles with her. When she passed in the beginning of last year I got all the puzzles she had, which wasn't many as she traded puzzles with people (which annoyed me because I would've loved to get all them myself but can't always get every puzzle you want I guess 😅 I'm just glad I managed to get a few puzzles from her over the years so she wouldn't trade them too like this particular one) but im glad I still have the love for puzzling like she had. And even though I am definitely jealous of your puzzle collection and would love to have all them (lol), I am grateful that you've chosen to share all these puzzles, many of which I didn't even know existed, so I can look into maybe getting some of them myself at some point.
One thing though, idk if you're going to see this, but I have a puzzle that I can't find anything about online, and as you're the puzzle genius I was wondering if there was a way to contact you with pics of the puzzle to see if you know anything about it? I don't have Instagram or anything, I could do email? It's a solid red puzzle on both sides, but only cut on one side, it's in a glass jar that says "rainbow collection" along with an address and a company name that I literally can't find when looking it up, it's from the 1970s. The word collection suggests to me that other puzzles were made too, but not being able to find it online, and my great grandma was the one who originally got it but I can't ask her where/etc now, I don't know if it would be possible to get the other puzzles, if any. If not, that's fine, I can try looking it up again to see if I get different results but I know not everything is online so it might be impossible to find.
Anyway, thanks again for these puzzle videos. I hope you continue finding and putting together all the puzzles you want to have. And most importantly, enjoy putting together. And have a great day!

Loved this video, I'm just chilling as I finish up a crochet baby sweater. I have a suggestion if that might be welcome. I'm getting into labels for organizing and it might be helpful for ya to have little paper labels (that live in the box or something not an actual sticker) that says something like
    "Obtained/Received: date
    From: ebay/person/company/store/etc
    Completed: date
    Video title (when applicable): title
    Video published: date"
the idea of little museum style labels just sounds cute. And with your graphic design bg I can only imagine it would be adorable.

Sorry if this has been commented a ton already, but the second puzzle’s brand is Brain Games. The black and red letters alternate the words together. Their challenging designs are meant to be brain teasers so they’re all colorful complicated patterns. Only once have I had to use the letters on the back to finish one (floating numbers), and the Stopwatch one they have is my favorite one.

I too got this bgraamiens puzzle for Christmas like 3 years ago and I did it right away. LOVED it.
During the Covid shut-downs 3 in our family were doing puzzle tournaments one after another -- we didn't do the *same* puzzle but did random draws of very closely alike puzzles. So it naturally meant every puzzle had two more come with to the collection--including the bgraamiens. Thus, I have a LOT of puzzles now and I've done barely more than a third of them. Although I have done all three bgraamiens

This video had me smiling the whole time. That there could be a puzzle out there you couldn’t tackle if you wanted to just doesn’t exist. But completely understand when you have to balance life, work and puzzling, some parameters need to be given. It’s why I’ve added 500 piece puzzles to my collection. 😊

I have 1 2000 piece to do, and 2 5000 piece puzzles to do, one is the pokemon ravensburger, I will be doing that with my daughters over Christmas break.

I really enjoyed blooming colour - I bought that one for last Christmas holidays and did it over a day or so in between other stuff. I found the pieces quite unique to their position so was able to do it quite fast. You have reminded me I should get one or two for this holiday tho. Thank you.
