I watched both the insertion of the nose rings video and the removal. Thank you so much for the education you provide. Including that you ask the assistance of your diverse group of friends, neighbors, and tradespeople when you need it. It sets a good example.
Nice cows, why don't you just train the cows to come in the cow pens with cattle cubes, and then whenever you have to work them, all you have to do is close the gate? I used to help my grandfather with his cows for years and he trained him cows to come up to get the cubes and they would walk right into the pens or change pastures it was easy and low stress. Just a thought for you
Great question. I have done what you said. I have them trained. I have all of them trained except for the few stubborn ones. And these few were trained at one point and then they stopped coming in.
@broderickpride9124 I saw in one of your videos that you sold a 16 month old heifer that wouldn't stop nursing. Do you mind if I ask you how much you got for her at the livestock market? And could you have gotten more money to sell her to an individual? Why not just separate her from a while longer? Do you not plan on keeping your young heifers in a separate pasture so the bull doesn't breed them too early? Sorry for all the questions. I'm new to your channel and just wanted to know how you are doing things as you grow your cattle heard. Also wanted to find out the difference in the price of cows in Texas? I'm in SW Florida and want to start raising some cattle and like hearing how others are doing it and why they choose the breeds they do? Thanks for sharing your journey on youtube. I'm enjoying watching all your videos and going back to watch them all, so I will be up to speed on everything 😀
@@PrideRanch Most definitely but they’re beautiful! That’s a dream of mine to own a horse or two. You should ponder on it more a horse would benefit the herd.

I enjoy learning and working with them.
@@4789slydax agree!
You have time to think about getting a horse getting one mid age and that's already trained to work cattle.
Still learning a horse ....yes....age no clue.lol

Thanks!!! One of the calves got out
How many head do you carry?
35 cows, 15 calves, and 1 bull
How many acres? Do you have a lake or creek there? truly inspired
Invest into a mule and a couple of blue healers, and it will be easier on your feet and back. Great job. 💯💥👍🏿
Thanks for the tip
The heard is looking good.

I created a video today responding to your question. Let me know what you think.
Looking great
Thanks
You don’t have a horse yet😂
lol....lol...nope. Money pit.
Mr. Billy a big help 😂❤. Invest in a horse I’m certain he will help you round the cattle up 👍🏽
He has told me he will help. Horses just eat too much for me. They eat 5 times the amount of a cow.
