love it!! my ideas for future episodes: -italian renaissance -medieval france -victorian england -civil war era USA -17th century mexico (under the spanish viceroy - think around the time of sor juana ines de la cruz)
If you end up doing Victorian would you do early Victorian (a la Jane Eyre/Bronte/mid 1800s) and then fin de siecle era (1890s-turn of the century)? Love the idea of this series! Always love things like these!
This is so cool!! I love using historical looks as an inspiration for my hair and outfits! I'd be very interested in seeing a modern take on Italian Renaissance hair because it's so out there but so cool! By the way, are you still going to do Beauty Beacons videos?
I love this idea! You are absolutely brilliant. I also think it would be very interesting and absolutely gorgeous to bring the Romantic-Victorian military style of men into a female modern look.
Glorious! Thank you so much for this series! Just the other day I was thinking about how I could pull a wearable Edwardian look. I can't wait to see what you'll do with this
Loved this. Your modernized Regency look is totally adorable and wearable. In winter I'd style a sheer top with a black maxi skirt for warmth. I look forward to the rest of this series.
Yass this serieus is gonna be awesome as i try to dress everyday with a touch of history! Thanks soooooo much. Request : Edwardian or the Romeo and Juillet era ( dont really know how to call that era haha)
I am so excited for this series! I myself am trying to wear more vintage but more of a modern take this will help a lot. you are so creative! thank you!
I really really love this idea! I'm super into the Jane Austen era look and really loved this. Of course I have no problem rocking Renaissance, Regency or anything else in every day life. Can't wait to see what's next.
I love this series already! I would love to see an Edwardian style revival, like when the Gibson girl hairstyle was all the craze ❤️ This video is beautiful!
So excited about this series!! Seeing as you've already done my other fave ( the Rococo period in the Hulu Harlots ) I can't wait to see Ancient Egypt! 😍
I am so glad you did a Regency look! It is one of my favorite periods; very elegant and it looks good on everybody. I would also be interested in seeing some adaptations of fashions from the 1920's.
This is fantastic! I love history and Jane Austen is my favorite author. This is a lovely series idea, and I love that you started it with this style. :-D I'm looking forward to the next installment.
I love this concept! I've been doing this my whole life! lol It's amazing how you can make modern clothes looks period when you put them together right!
Looking forward to the series! Please do Midwest 1870s-80s (think Little House on the Prairie). I loved the show and would love to see your take on something a modern Laura Ingalls Wilder would wear! Also, maybe you could also start a series focusing on fantasy beings and mythical creatures such as fairies, elves, mermaids, witches and unicorns - I'm thinking a modern day Arwen or Galadriel would be cool - idk maybe this is too far-fetched haha!
Uuuh! I really enjoy this series :3 It is educational and very interesting and full of inspo!! Thank you so much for the effort you put on every video ♥♥♥
Lucy, you are super duper brilliant to have an idea to start this series and I think it's is wonderful to have a hint of history in our modern beauty :) you never failed to disappoint me ever since the first time I clicked the subscribe button ! keep it up:)
My historically obsessed self couldn't help pointing out that in regency times women did wear corsets. Short stays were worn to lift up the breasts rather than slim the waist. I could go on, but I keep on reminding myself that this is a revival and isn't meant to be historically accurate.
I already love this series! As a huge Jane Austen lover I adore this video! Your hairtutorial is amazing! Maybe you can do an "Outlander" (Scottish fashion in the 18th century) or a "Dowton Abbey" inspired look! xxx
This is such an AMAZING idea!!! I have always wanted to do something like this in my everyday life but never quite knew where to start! Can't wait to take inspiration from this series
What a great series idea Lucy! I wonder if you could do a modernised version of the earlier 18th century style you were talking about I would love to see that! love xxx
